Abstract

The purpose of this study is to implement a culture of energy-saving behavior. It is based on the implementation of basic energy-saving values, including (1) the development of a green education curriculum through energy conservation teaching materials of Economical, Wise and Smart to Use Energy. Also, (2) it encourages energy-saving behaviours, such as turning off devices that use energy while not in use, including lamp and AC. This strategy needs to be practiced continuously with teachers’ help to inculcate positive habits in children. The study uses a comparative approach which is often meant to describe the profound relationship and the influence between two or more facts and the object properties examined. A comparative study is used to determine the cause of behavioral differences or individual status. This study involves a follow-up to the correlation research.

Abstract

Sudah banyak anak usia dini yang menggunakan smartphone, padahal pada usia tersebut anak belum layak untuk menggunakan smartphone. Berdasarkan riset, penggunaan smartphone yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan kecanduan smartphone pada anak. Kurangnya kontrol dari orang tua dan juga perkembangan mental anak belum berkembang secara optimal, menyebabkan terjadinya penyalahgunaan fungsi oleh konseli. Hasilnya, muncul dampak-dampak negatif pada perilakunya yang membuat konseli mengalami perubahan - perubahan sehingga membutuhkan bantuan konselor untuk proses perbaikan perilakunya Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menelaah teknik modeling dalam proses mengubah perilaku adiktif smartphone pada anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literature dengan menelaah berbagai sumber atau referensi terkait teknik modeling dalam proses pengubahan atau perbaikan perilaku adiktif smartphone pada anak.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of the beyond centers and circle time in children aged 4-5 years at Surakarta Islamic Consecrated Kindergarten. This problem was examined with a qualitative approach and the type of research case study. The research subjects involved were children, teachers, and parents. Data collected by researchers through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The technique of data validity testing was by source and technique triangulation. The results research of the application of the central learning model was carried out by organizing learning focusing on children in a circle using four types of scaffolding, namely playing environment, before playing, during play, and after playing. Bakti IX Islamic Kindergarten applied five school days, as well as one type of center every day, there are five centers that are implemented namely beam centers, centers of life skills, arts centers, preparation centers, and role-playing centers. The application of beyond centers and circle time can stimulate children to be able to optimize the six developmental fields of children. Learning media used ware APE and also the use of used goods.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between the television shows that children saw on imitation behavior of children aged 4-5 years in Pojok, Mojogedang, Karanganyar. The approach in this study uses a quantitative approach with a type of correlation. This research was conducted in December 2018 by using a sample of 77 children and parents in Pojok, Mojogedang, Karanganyar. Retrieval of data from this study using questionnaires distributed to parents. The results of the hypothesis test of the Spearman Rho correlation show that the significance value is 0,000 <0.05 which means the hypothesis is accepted, namely the relationship of television shows to the imitation behavior of children aged 4-5 years in Pojok, Mojogedang, Karanganyar. The results of the Spearman Rho Hypothesis Test also show a correlation coefficient of 0.657 which means television shows had a strong influence on the imitation behavior of children. The result of the data show that the higher the television show that the children sees, the higher the imitation behavior that is raised, the lower the television show that the children sees, the lower the imitation behavior that is raised. The conclusion of this study is that television shows become models for children’s imitation behavior

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh lembaga PAUD TK Labschool UN PGRI Kediri adalah bagaimana mengimplementasikan rancangan program parenting di saat pandemi dimana ada keterbatasan kegiatan dalam semua bidang termasuk pendidikan. Sementara kegiatan parenting memiliki manfaat yang bermakna untuk media terjalinya komunikasi dan penyelarasan kegiatan sekolah dan apa yang diajarkan orang tua di rumah. Solusi pemecahan dari maslahan dirancang sebuah kegiatan berbasis parenting virtual dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting mengundang narasumber dan kegiatan dibuka untuk umum. Tema yang diangkat disesuaikan dengan kondisi terkini dan peserta terdaftar 35 orang tua wali murid. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan responden wali murid peserta dan mengisi angket/kuesioner diperoleh 18 responden dan yang lain melengkapi data dengan wawancara saat kegiatan berlangsung. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriftif kualitatif mengedepankan fenomena sosial berdasar karakteristik resonden yang diteliti ditambahkan kajian pustaka agar diperoleh kesimpulan yang valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukan akan kebutuhan program parenting dan masih dibutuhkan lembaga PAUD dibuka saat pandemi Covid-19 karena menjadi kebutuhan orang tua anak usia dini dalam berkolaborasi terkait pengoptimalan tumbuh kembang anak. Implementasi lanjutan rencana kegiatan parenting selanjutnya perlu kembali mengkaji tema-tem arelevan dan sebaiknya melibatkan orang tua wali murid agar selaras komunikasi efektif dalam menjalankan pendidikan anak usia dini berkualitas.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) merupakan basis pembentukan karakter moral manusia, sehingga terbentuk perilaku dan kemampuan dasar sesuai dengan tahap perkembangannya. Untuk itu ddiperlukan penanaman nilai nilai moral untuk anak usia dini. Tetapi dalam masa sekarang ini banyak anak usia dini yang sudah memainkan gadget, entah itu gadgetnya sendiri ataupun milik dari orang terdekatnya. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dampak dalam penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan moral anak usia dini, dimana pada usia itu usia dimana sel sel otak anak berkembang secara luar biasa. Yang menjadi garis besar permasalahannya yaitu penggunaan gadget lebih banyak menimbulkan dampak negative daripada dampak positive jika digunakan oleh anak usia dini apalagi tanpa pengawasan dari orang dewasa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu studi pustaka atau literature review. Peneliti sudah menjabarkan bebrapa pengaruh yang dihasilkan dari penggunaan gadged yang dilakukan anak usia dini terutama pada perkembangan moral atau karakter anak itu sendiri. Sehingga dalam hal ini orang dewasa dalam artian orang terdekat anak harus selalu mendampingi anak anaknya agar bisa mencapai perkembangan sesuai tahapnya.

Abstract

This training is carried out to provide knowledge and skills to PAUD teachers in implementing English language learning for early childhood. The subjects of the training were 30 Kindergarten (Kindergarten) and PAUD teachers of Bendosari kindergarten. The training is carried out in 3 stages, namely: (1) strengthening of materials related to the TPR (Total Physical Response) method in early childhood learning; (2) implementation of the TPR (Total Physical Response) method in learning aged children; and (3) evaluation of the material for the TPR (Total Physical Response) method in learning children. Training on the application of the TPR (Total Physical Response) method in learning English for early childhood can improve the understanding, abilities and skills of Kindergarten and PAUD teachers in the District, Sukoharjo Regency in compiling, developing, and implementing English learning using the TPR (Total Physical Response) method. Where the deepening of the material for each training stage reaches 90%. This is evidenced by the results of practice and the implications of each material. Kindergarten and PAUD teachers in Bendosari Subdistrict, Sukoharjo Regency can develop themes and materials, create and use media, choose English vocabulary according to themes and materials, and apply English learning using the TPR (Total Physical Response) method.

Abstract

Sarana dan prasarana adalah segala fasilitas yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pengajaran, baik itu proses yang berjalan berurutan, lancar, teratur, efektif dan efisien untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manfaat serta pengaruh sarana dan prasarana bagi hasil pembelajaran anak. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah study literature yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data-data ataupun hasil karya tulis ilmiah yang menghubungan penelitian dengan literature yang ada dan digunakan sebagai pemecahan masalah. Metode pengumpulan data pustaka dengan membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah data penelitian kemudian menyimpulkan sebagai bahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian yang didapat bahwa masih terdapat beberapa taman kanak-kanak yang masih mengalami kekurangan dalam pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana untuk penunjang kegiatan belajar anak

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) develop a multirepresentation learning model, (2) reveal the effectiveness of the developed multirepresentation learning model, and (3) transform character for students of 5-6 years old. The data were collected using a validation sheet, questionnaire of teacher’s responses, and observation. The data were analyzed using the independent sample t test with a significance level of 0,05. The result of the assessment by the material expert validator was “Good”. The research finding revealed that the multirepresentation learning model in terms of the content expediency, the language, the presentation, and the graphic component were categorized “Very Good”. There was a difference in the nation spirit character between the experimental class and the control class after the teacher used the multirepresentation learning model with p < 0.05, and there was also a significant increase, with p = 0.000.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the ability of pre-reading by using bulletin boards for children aged 5-6 years. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages are carried out, namely planning, implementing the action, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years at TK Khadijah III Pucung for the 2018/2019 academic year with 14 children. Data collection techniques using observation data, interviews, tests and documentation. The validity test of the data through triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this classroom action research indicate an increase the pre-reading ability of each cycle. The pre-action completeness percentage obtained a result of 35% with 5 children who got a complete score. In the first cycle it increased by a percentage of 57% or 8 children who got a complete score, and in the second cycle it increased by a percentage of 86% or 12 children who got it. Based on the description above, the results of classroom action research carried out in two cycles can be concluded that bulletin board media can improve the pre-reading ability of group B at TK Khadijah III Pucung Academic Year 2018/2019.
