Abstract

This study intends to ascertain the impact of learning facilities on student learning satisfaction, the impact of learning environments on student learning satisfaction, and the interaction between teacher professional competency and learning environments. Utilizing a quantitative methodology, this investigation. 114 students in class XII Accounting and Finance made up the study's population, and 80 of those students made up the sample utilizing the proportionate stratified random sampling method. The findings demonstrated that learning facilities and teacher professional competence both had a positive and significant impact on student learning satisfaction, with learning facilities having a positive and significant influence level of 48% and teacher professional competence having a positive and significant influence level of 49%. Having a 60.6% influence on student learning

Abstract

This research was based on facts that the students’ vocabulary mastery in low level.. This was due to the fact that teaching vocabulary is not only about having a lot of vocabulary but students must also understand the form and meaning of the word. In addition, semantic mapping is not applied in English textbook to teaching vocabulary at Senior high school. The goal of this research was to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. To achieve this goal, this research offered the use of semantic mapping in understanding word forms and word meanings so that students can improve their vocabulary mastery. Through analysis of the data, the researcher found that vocabulary can be taught using word formation and meaning of the word. There are several ways to explain word formation namely etymology, coinage, borrowing, compounding, blending, clipping, backformation, conversion, acronym, and derivation. In addition, semantic mapping used in understanding meaning of the word through antonym, synonym, meronym, taxonomy,monosemy, homonym, and polysemy. It is concluded that semantic mapping can be used in explain the word and its meaning. In addition, Semantic mapping is not only uses tree diagrams in explaining words but can also use various forms such as star diagram, spider diagram, fishbone diagram, cycle diagram and vocabulary graphic organizer.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, almost all schools and universities used an online system in their teaching and learning processes. However, with this online system, various frauds appear in the world of education. Cheating is carried out including copy and paste, sharing answers with each other, copying friends' tasks and so on. From this phenomenon, it is necessary to conduct research to examine the factors that affect academic fraud by using the Fraud Triangle dimensions including Pressure, Opportunity, and Rationalization. Data collection in this study used observation methods and questionnaires that were distributed to active students in the STMIK Undergraduate Program using random sampling techniques. Data processing and analysis is assisted with the SPSS program. Before processing the data, validity, reliability, and normality tests are carried out. This study used F Test and t Test with an error degree of 5%. The conclusion of this study was that the pressure and rationalization variables have no effect on academic cheating, while the opportunity variables have an effect on academic cheating. But overall (F Test), it was found that all variables, pressures, opportunities, and rationals simultaneously (together) affect the academic cheating. These shows that although pressure and rationalization do not affect students to commit fraud, broadly speaking, undergraduate students at STMIK Widya Pratama Pekalongan have a fairly high awareness that these things are actions that are not allowed both ethically and legally in terms of existing legal norms. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe and analyze the ability to understand the concept of absolute value equations and inequalities in class X IPS students at SMAN 13 Padang. Analyze students' conceptual understanding abilities in this study, can be seen from four indicators, namely: (1) rewriting a concept; (2) presenting concepts in the form of mathematical representations; (3) using, utilizing, and selecting certain procedures or operations; (4) apply concepts or algorithms in problem-solving. The question in this study is how is the ability to understand the concept of absolute value equality and inequality in class X IPS students at SMAN 13 Padang. The method in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were 33 class X IPS 1 students at SMAN 13 Padang who were selected by purposive sampling. From the results of the research conducted, the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts as an indicator of the ability to understand mathematical concepts, especially in rewriting a concept and presenting concepts in the form of mathematical representations, is very good. On indicators of the ability to understand concepts in using, utilizing, and selecting certain procedures or operations and applying algorithms in problem-solving with the sufficient category. From the research results obtained, it is suggested that teachers can provide exercises to improve students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. Abstract

The problem in this study is the learning process and student learning outcomes in grade V SDN 116/II Empelu are still low, this is evidenced by the results of preliminary observations made by researchers of 20 students only 35% who scored in the completed criteria. The cause is students in the passive class, have not used a varied learning model, and have not used concrete in learning. The researcher's aim is to improve the process and learning outcomes of the mathematics through the Application of the Problem Based Learning model. The research method used in this research is classroom action research. This class action research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages of activity namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection with observation sheets for student learning process and tests for student learning outcomes. The results showed that the use of the TGT type of Cooperative Learning Model can increase student process and learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in student learning process, in the first cycle reached 55% categorized quite active and in the second cycle increased to 85%.

Abstract

One of the elements in education is the teacher. Educators are an important element in Islamic education, this study aims to describe the nature of educators in Islamic education. The research method used in this research is library research. Sources of research data consist of primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data analysis using content analysis. The results of the study show that, in Islamic education, there are two kinds of educators, namely parents and teachers in formal and informal schools. Educators in formal and informal schools must fulfill the characteristics of being an educator, fulfill the requirements as an educator, and fulfill their function as an educator.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low student learning outcomes in SBdP learning, the teacher’s lack of attention to the material or learning concepts that should be delivered. This resulted in the low process and learning outcomes of students in class IV SDN 143/VIII Teluk Kembang Jambu, Tebo Ulu District. This research is a classroom action research with simple qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subjects were fourth grade students, which amounted to 30 people. This research consists of two cycles. This research was carried out in the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at SDN 143/VIII Teluk Kembang Jambu Tebo Ulu District. This research data was collected through observations, test results, photos and documentation. The results of research data analysis show that using the Direct Instruction Model can improve the process and learning outcomes of arts, culture and crafts (SBdP) in the fourth grade of SDN 143/VIII Teluk Kembang Jambu. Seen from the process of implementing learning carried out by the teacher in cycle I 80% and in cycle II it became 84.61%, and during the student learning process in cycle I 62% and in cycle II it becomes 80.63%. The same thing is also seen in student learning in the first cycle is 69.6%, and in the second cycle it becomes 83.6%. Then classroom action research in the use of Direct Instruction Model in learning arts, culture and crafts (SBdP) can improve the process and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method which aims to find out the factors causing students' lack of awareness in practicing Pancasila values and the school's efforts to instill students' awareness in practicing Pancasila values. The informants were school principals, deputy principals, PKN teachers, counseling teachers, school administration staff and students. Data collected by observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using data triangulation. Data analysis techniques: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the factors causing the lack of practicing Pancasila values in students' attitudes and behavior were: (1) The students themselves, the lack of awareness of students about the importance of practicing Pancasila values. (2) peers, there is influence from fellow students who behave negatively. (3) Schools, inadequate school facilities. (4) Family, lack of parental attention. Efforts made by schools to instill students' awareness of practicing Pancasila values in schools are: (1) conducting socialization, so that all parties know the importance of practicing Pancasila values, especially for students and parents. (2) providing exemplary and understanding of Pancasila, setting an example of good behavior to students and so that the understanding of Pancasila values can be carried out properly. (3) provide guidance and direction, in order to be able to find solutions to problems that students do. (4) giving punishment, in order to give a deterrent effect to students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku adaptif kedisiplinan anak terhadap gaya belajar kelas tiga pasca pandemi. Mengetahui faktor yang mempengeruhi perilaku adaptasi terhadap gaya belajar anak selama pasca pandemi, serta aspek yang membangun perilaku adaptasi terhadap kedisiplinan anak pasca pandemi. Penelitian menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan pancatatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku adaptasi pasca pandemi pada anak masih kurang. Sebelum adanya pandemi anak suka bermain dan bercanda. Setelah pandemi anak jarang berinteraksi karena pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring, setelah pandemi berakhir pembelajaran dilakukan tatap muka banyak anak menjadi canggung kepada teman. Waktu pandemi tugas diberikan dan dikumpulkan secara online, meskipun tidak tahu siapa yang mengerjakan tugas anak. Sekarang pasca pandemi, anak diharuskan mengerjakan tugas sendiri setelah itu dikumpulkan kepada guru langsung. Faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku adaptasi kedisiplinan anak terhadap gaya belajar antara lain pergaulan anak di lingkungan rumah, motivasi orang tua terhadap anak pasca pandemi seperti perhatian orang tua sebelum anak berangkat kesekolah. Salah satu cara paling baik menumbuhkan kedisiplinan anak dengan membiasakan kebiasaan kecil seperti menemani anak ketika belajar, mengajak anak melakukan ibadah bersama. Sebisa mungkin mengajarkan disiplin sedini mungkin agar anak terbiasa melakukan hal baik.

Abstract

Abstrak; madrasah nizhamiyah merupakan perguruan Islam modern yang pertama di dunia, madrasah nizhamiyah mengajarkan pendidikan yang lebih khusus dengan spesifikasi bidang teologi dan hukum Islam. Lembaga pendidikan ini adalah salah satu cikal bakal lembaga pendidikan Islam modern baik dari segi kurikulum, metode pengajaran, sarana dan prasaran, adminsitrasi dan pembiayaan. Kurikulumnya berpusat pada Alquran, sastra Arab, sejarah Rasul, dan berhitung. Sistem pengajarannya menitik beratkan pada mazhab Syafi’i dan paham Asy’ariyah. Meski demikian, pada kurikulum yang digunakan terdapat perimbangan yang proporsional antara disiplin ilmu keagamaan (tafsir, hadis, fikih, kalam, dan lainnya) dan disiplin ilmu aqliyah (filsafat, logika, matematika, kedokteran, dan lainnya). Subject Curriculum difokuskan pada materi pelajaran yang diberikan berdiri sendiri, tidak berhubungan dengan pelajaran yang lain. Dalam subject curriculum, mata pelajaran diajarkan secara mandiri, dikembangkan berdasarkan keluasan pelajaran tersebut terhadap ilmu pengetahuannya. Bentuk kurikulum ini biasanya terdapat pada pelajaran utama, seperti al-Qur'an,Tafsir, Fiqh dan lain-alin. Kemudian pelajaran non-agama seperti Fisika, Biologi, Ilmu Berhitung, Kedokteran dsb, Subject Curriculum dikembangkan pada masa awal berdirinya madrasah dan pertumbuhan pendidikan Islam klasik.
