Abstract

The object of study in this study was to find out the application of information services in developing students' understanding of attitudes toward free sex behavior in Class X-IPA SMA Harapan Mekar Medan. This research is qualitative research. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of Class X-IPA SMA Harapan Mekar Medan. Based on the results of the information service data, it can develop an understanding of the dangers of free sex behavior in X-IPA class students, considering that at the age of their youth, students still find it difficult to control themselves. Therefore, to overcome this, special and in-depth attention is needed through information services. As a result, after the implementation of these services, students (counselee) experience positive changes as expected

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of learning the Inquiry method on the learning outcomes of students in class X Ak. MEDAN STUDENT TAMAN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL. The experimental class is taught by the inquiry method while the control class is taught by the conventional method.This study uses the type of instrument that is a test of students' accounting skills. Before the test is tested on students, the validity is calculated first. The validity test was also carried out by a Lecturer and one Accounting teacher. From the calculation results obtained that all tests are valid. From the test sheet validation tests by Lecturers and teachers of Accounting also stated that all tests were valid. Before testing the hypothesis, the normality test and homogeneity test were carried out using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the t-test between the average post-test values, it is obtained that the value of t count = 6.0211 at a significance level of = 0.05 and so that t count >t table . Thus, learning with the inquiry method is significantly better than learning with conventional methods. Based on the calculation of the average value of the experimental class and control class, the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class, which is 76.84, while the average value of the control class is 74.21. By looking at the success of teaching using the inquiry method in improving student accounting learning outcomes, especially the balance sheet material

Abstract

This article aims to describe the condition of educational accountability in terms of the quality of post-pandemic learning where this greatly influences the condition of competency development activities in schools due to the many activity restrictions imposed during the pandemic crisis. This research method is a literature review with the addition of a data survey method to representative schools in the city of Medan as a concrete manifestation of conditions in the field related to educational accountability. The findings obtained in this study are the urgency of educational accountability that needs to be improved, starting from the formal school level education level by improving the quality of learning and teaching carried out by teachers to prioritize competency development over other activities which are sometimes not too important to be carried out in schools.

Abstract

This study deals in the lexical item analysis in Speech by UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake at the Harvard Conference on Adolescent Rights. This study aimed to find out the types of lexical item that focused on content word, function word and clause found in the Speech by Anthony Lake, to identify that often occurs on Speech by Anthony Lake, and to elaborate the reason for occurrence of dominant type in Speech by UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake at the Harvard Conference on Adolescent Rights. Descriptive qualitative research was applied in this study. The data of research were taken from Speech by Anthony Lake, 84 sentences found in this speech. The data were analyzed by identifying the speech into three types of lexical item in classifying the content word, function word and clause, analyzing the data into the each types of content word, function word and clause, calculating the types of content word, function word and clause, the most dominantly used in this speech, and finding the reason for occurrences of dominant type of content word, function word and clause on Speech by UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lakeat the Harvard Conference on Adolescent Rights

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and describe the study and concept of the development of juvenile delinquency in the world of education which is addressed by the role of the guidance and counseling teacher (BK) in overcoming the problem. This article was written using references from previous research related to the study of the role of counseling teachers in overcoming the development of juvenile delinquency at school age. The results of this literature review resulted in the conclusion that juvenile delinquency in the school environment can be reduced and minimized by the creativity of the counseling teacher in keeping students busy in activities that are more useful than the behavior of students who are not useful in filling their free time. From that it can be concluded that the role of the counseling teacher must be maximized in schools

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe behavioristic theory, which is a theory that prioritizes changes in individual behavior as a result of stimulus and response. In other words, learning that is done by each individual is a form of change experienced by students in terms of their abilities which aim to change behavior by way of interaction between stimulus and response. According to Watson, student behavior is the result of genetic inheritance and environmental influences, whereas according to Pavlov it refers to a number of training procedures between one stimulus and a stimulus appearing to replace another stimulus in developing a response. Finally, according to Skinner, the relationship between stimulus and response occurs through interaction with the environment. which then causes a change in behavior. Thus, behavioristic learning theory focuses more on developing individual behavior in a better direction

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe conditions that can occur in every individual suddenly known as a crisis condition that can experience an imbalance in life. Crisis is a pressure experienced by a person and negatively affects his ability to think, plan and deal with problems effectively. Guidance and Counseling for teachers/school counselors in dealing with crises cannot be separated from their duties, qualifications and competency standards. Guidance and Counseling Teachers/school counselors have duties, responsibilities, and authority in administering guidance and counseling services to students. The role of the Guidance and Counseling teacher/school counselor is indispensable in assisting with guidance and counseling, the school is a comfortable place for all parties, especially for students, especially in the implementation of crisis counseling. The description of a counselor's performance is not easy, but with his responsiveness and readiness, a counselor will be able to provide much better service with better results for the counselee he is serving and be ready to face various situations including crisis situations

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of Guidance and Counseling teachers in overcoming the problem of student tardiness at SMA Muhammidiyah 1 Medan. The results of the study show that Guidance and Counseling teachers play a role in providing guidance, direction, and individual counseling to students who come late to school. The reasons for being late for students vary, such as difficulty getting up early, tired of helping parents after school, or a lack of interest in math. The provision of individual counseling services by Guidance and Counseling teachers has succeeded in showing a decrease in cases of students arriving late to school. Thus, the application of individual counseling services can be a solution in overcoming the problem of student delays at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and information openness which is so widespread in all corners of the earth. Where the barriers to isolated information have been opened as wide as possible, such a state of information has also hit our world of education so that it has entered our schools. The information that is spread is not only scientific about the lesson but also entertainment, sports and some are even negative. School age is an age that is very vulnerable to this information. In the independent curriculum, it is quite clear about the Pancasila Student Profile, where lately, the problem of character has become a separate problem among students at school. As we all know that there are many criminal incidents, it turns out that many are committed at school age, namely between the ages of 14-17 years. The importance of instilling character among students at school is the main thing, considering the life of these students is a transitional period, where they enter a world which so far has only been confined to the family, while their thinking develops and the real world they face needs provisions that seriously given so that they can withstand or have a stronghold of self-defense in this era of globalization. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of online learning on the economics learning outcomes of International Trade Class XI IPS MAS Students of the Univa Medan Project. The population of this study was 29 students of class XI and the sampling technique was saturated sampling which made the entire population the research sample. This study used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire for online learning variables while the learning outcomes variable in this study used student learning outcomes data obtained directly from the school. This study uses correlation testing to see the relationship between variables and also uses several tests such as data quality tests for instruments, classical assumption tests and also hypothesis testing to see the effect between variables. From the results of data processing, a significance value of 0.803 was obtained which was greater than 0.05. From this analysis, Ho is accepted, meaning that there are simultaneously independent variables, namely online learning, does not affect the dependent variable, namely learning outcomes.
