Abstract

Bibliometric analysis is a statistical tool that is useful for visualizing developments in the field of science to be used as a tool in finding research gaps. This study aims to create a visualization map on the topic of academic anxiety research which includes the development of keywords and popular authors. The database in this study was obtained from dimensions.ai and took data from 2002 to 2021 which was then divided into two ten-year periods. The results of the bibliometric analysis from 2002-2011 contained 6 clusters and 66 keyword items and citation authors with 26 clusters and 59 items. Meanwhile, the results of the bibliometric analysis of the database from 2012-2021 contained 66 items and 8 clusters for popular keywords, while 21 items and 11 clusters for citation authors.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the perceptions of Mataram City students in recognizing and using smartphones to support their needs, especially those related to education. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a population of all high school students or the equivalent scattered in the city of Mataram. The sample used is 50 students from five schools. Research data in the form of survey results obtained through the process of distributing question forms using the help of links on Google Drive. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively and supported by various relevant sources. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that the level of participation of Mataram City students in recognizing and using Smartphones is included in the high category with a percentage level of 100%. This indicates that Smartphones have become the most important part and are difficult to separate for students, especially in today's conditions

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between character-based parenting and child discipline. The population in this study were 70 people and a sample of 10 children and their parents. The research instrument is an observation sheet in the form of free questions. Data analysis concluded that: (1). The tendency of character-based parenting applied by people is very good with a presentation of 50% in the high category. (2). The tendency of child discipline shown by early childhood is sufficient with a presentation of 30% in the sufficient category. (3). There is a positive and significant relationship between character-based parenting styles on children's discipline with a connectedness coefficient of 42.9%.

Abstract

Numerical literacy ability is an important 21st century ability possessed by students. Teaching materials that have not integrated these abilities need to be developed. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to examine the needs of LKPD to improve students' numerical literacy ability. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The population used in this study was class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta, while the sample was class VIII.C SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, questionnaires, and students' numerical literacy test results. The results of the study showed that: (1) as many as 87% of students were interested if mathematics lessons were packaged in the form of LKPD; (2) based on the numeracy literacy test as many as 69% of students in the medium category and 14% in the low category; (3) as many as 37% of students are embarrassed to ask the teacher about subject matter that is not understood and affects the activity of students in the classroom. In addition, students want the LKPD to be blue and contain material, practice questions, and assignments. This study concludes that teaching materials using LKPD need to be applied to improve students’ numerical literacy ability

Abstract

Virtual learning during the COVID-19 pandemic requires an investigation into the psychological development of students. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulated learning on student learning activities using e-learning. This research was conducted in May 2022 on class XI students at SMAN 9 Kota Tasikmalaya by taking a sample of 100 students to fill out a questionnaire. Structural equation modeling partial least square (SEM-PLS) was used to analyze the data in the study. The results showed that the value of the path coefficient of all variables was 0.000 so that there was a significant relationship between self-regulated learning (SLR), learning motivation and e-learning student activity. So to get optimal results during virtual learning, the formation of student SLR is one thing that needs to be focused.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of the effect of cooperative learning on the development of students' speaking skills in public. The population in this study was 100 people and a sample of 10 students as the control class and 10 students as the experimental class. The research instrument is a questionnaire in the form of questions with reference to indicators 1) speaking fluency; 2) accuracy of word choice; 3) sentence structure; 4) intonation of reading sentences and 5) speaking expressions. Data analysis concluded that: (1). The cooperative learning process was carried out well with a 50% presentation in the high category. (2). The tendency of students' speaking ability has a good development tendency with a presentation of 30% in the sufficient category. (3). There is a positive and significant effect of cooperative learning on the development of students' public speaking skills with a connectedness coefficient of 95.6%.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type by looking at changes in research data between before and after being given treatment. The population in this study was 40 students of class XII then the sampling technique used purposive random sampling. The results of the reliability test of the bullying behavior character instrument were 0.911. The research data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The research findings show that the correlation obtained from the SPSS output model summary 26.00 shows the magnitude of the results of the hypothesis test with the Wilcoxon test, the output is 2.807b with the value of Asymp.Sig. = 0.005 (2-tailed) is less than < 0.005, then Ha is accepted. Here there are 10 positive data (N) which means that 10 students experienced a decrease in bullying behavior from the Pre-Test value to the Post Test value. The mean rank or average increase is 5.50, while the number of positive rankings or the sum of Ranks is 55.00. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the cognitive behavior therapy approach in group guidance can have an influence on the decline in bullying behavior of students at SMK Persatuan Amal Bakti 3 Medan TA. 2021/2022

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of Prosocial Behavior and Parental Support on Students' Interest in Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Parbuluan, Dairi Regency. The research method is a quantitative descriptive correlational type by placing the research variables in two groups, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The research population is SMA Negeri 1 Parbuluan, Dairi Regency. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a selected sample size of 100 children, the data collection method used prosocial behavior questionnaires, parental support questionnaires, and student learning interest questionnaires. The analysis used is Multiple Regression Analysis. Analysis of research data shows that (1) there is a significant effect of prosocial behavior on students' interest in learning which is indicated by the coefficient R = 0.561 and p = 0.000, namely p < 0.00; (2) there is a significant effect of parental support on student interest in learning, which is indicated by the coefficient R = 0.138 and p = 0.000, namely p <0.05 and (3) a significant effect of prosocial behavior and parental support on student interest in learning. indicated by the coefficient F = 25.996 and R (regression coefficient) = 0.591 while R2 = 0.349 with p < 0.05 and Std. Error of the Estimate 9.46953, The accuracy rate is 100% - 9.46953= 90.53047%. The third hypothesis in this study is to determine the effect of prosocial behavior and parental support on students' interest in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how is the students’ Reading Comprehension of Descriptive Text. And what are their difficulties in Reading Comprehension.The method used in this research is a qualitative method, the research was conducted at SMK N2 PEMATANGSIANTAR with the samples were 35 students The researcher used five stories of descriptive text and fifty questions about the text,and there searcher used interview test too. The data collection was taken from the sudents’ score. The result of the research showed that there is 0 studentor 0% who was categorized exellent,there were 2 students or 5,7%who were categorized as very good,there were 7 studentsor 20% who were categorized as good, there were 14 students or 40 % who were categorized as fair, there were 8 students or 22,8 % who were categorized as poor, there were 4 students or 11,4 % who were categorized as very poor. And the researcher found the average by the score was 61,8 % . So, fromthe result the researcher can conclude that the students were still in the fair category
