The current development of the Indonesian economy can be said to be getting better as evidenced by the existence of development in all fields, including development in the economic field. The increasing development in the economic sector is marked by the increasing growth of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia as the largest contributor to the Indonesian economy, which of course attracts investors to invest. Before an investor will decide whether to invest their funds in a company, there is the most important activity that needs to be carried out, namely a careful assessment of the company. This study aims to determine the effect of working capital turnover, board diversity, and intellectual capital on firm value. The sample in this study was taken using purposive sampling method and obtained as many as 31 sample companies. The results showed that the variable of working capital turnover and the presence of a female board of directors had no effect on firm value, while the variables of educational background, work experience, and intellectual capital had a positive effect on firm value.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze if the large-medium sized manufacture industries in the Jabodetabek are spatially concentrated and to analyze how spatial concentration is affected by the regional and industry specific variabels and the competitiveness strength of said industries. Using Hoover- Balassa Index (HBI) to gauge the spatial concentration strength caused by agglomeration as dependent variable, Industry Size, Competitiveness Index using output-based Location Quotient (LQ), and City/District Minimum Wage (UMK) as independent variables. Using panel data analysis and Geography Information System (GIS) to see where the industries are concentrated spatially in relation to others. It is found that the large and medium-sized manufacture industries in Jabodetabek are indeed spatially concentrated. Granger Causality Test indicates there is only one-way positive causality and that is industry competitiveness to industry spatial concentration. The independent Variable that affect spatial concentration of large and medium-sized industries in Jabodetabek positively are Industry Size, and Competitiveness Index.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the variables of the policy transition mechanism through the financial sector when changes in each variable and the contribution of the SBK, rPUAB, IHSGI, KONS, and INF variables to the final target of monetary policy and inflation. The data used in this study is secondary data sourced from the official website of Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This study uses time series data from the period 2010Q1 to 2021Q4. The analytical method used is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) with the analysis of Impulse Responses (IR) and Variance Decomposition (VD). The results of this study indicate that based on the test results of the impulse response variables SBK, rPUAB, IHSG, and KONS respond quickly to changes in each variable in the initial period after the shock occurs. The results of the analysis of variance decomposition showed that apart from the INF variable itself, each variable had a different contribution to the INF level with the order of the greatest influence being IHSG, KONS, rPUAB, OG, SBK and rDEPO.

Abstract

The difference in financial performance between district and city governments is one of the example of high economic gap. This is due to differences in the size of an area, population density levels and different regional income which can lead to fiscal imbalances between regions. The purpose of this study is to compare the financial performance of district and municipal administrations on Sumatra Island from 2015 to 2019. This study used financial statement data for all district and city governments on the island of Sumatra and analyzed the differences using descriptive statistic methods with quantitative data analysis technique using the Mann Whitney Test. The Mann Whitney Test results revealed that there were significant differences in the ratios of independence, efficiency, operating expenditure, capital expenditure, and the degree of fiscal decentralization, but no significant differences in the effectiveness ratio between district and city governments.
