Abstract

PT Semen Indonesia (PERSERO) Tbk is a cement producing company in Tuban, so problems often occur in theproduction system including damage to the finish mill machine components. The machine components that are oftendamaged are Grinding tables, Tires, Reducer separators, Rockerarms, Bucket Chains, Seals, Shafts. The finish millmachine is the last area in the cement production process. The result of the final grinding in the form of cement isstored in cement storage silos. If maintenance is carried out on a scheduled basis, damage and production failurescan be minimized. The purpose of this industrial practical work is to schedule maintenance for finish mill machinesusing the FMEA method. The data collection method used was direct observation and interviews with theresponsible department in the finish mill machine area. From the results of industrial practical work carried out, itis known that machine maintenance is carried out with an overhaul system every few years. It is recommended toschedule maintenance for finish mill machines such as cleaning, replacement, lubrication so that components do notoften fail and damage during the production process.

Abstract

The location of the research carried out in writing the journal here is PDAM Surya Sembada, Surabaya City. PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya City is one of the companies owned by the Regional Government (PEMDA) whose role is in processing and providing clean water to serve the people of Surabaya city, taking raw water taken from the Jagir River to then be processed and then distributed to customers. At this time the machines that are used operationally at PDAM are fairly old and therefore machines often experience damage problems. One of the methods used to anticipate problems in this case is the FMEA method. This method is used to anticipate an small problems before big problems. The steps used in this method include processing damage data in 2021, identifying the type of damage, results of the identification process and finally conclusions and suggestions. The data collection process is obtained from the results of observations and interviews or discussions with related parties between managers, supervisors and maintenance staff.

Abstract

Inventory management at PT Supraco Indonesia aims to ensure condition amount material inventory quickly and accurately, ensure material arrives according to material list, controls quality the material according to predetermined standards and presents to client. Making analysis the best supplier selection at PT Supraco Indonesia using AHP (Analitycal Hierarchy Process) method requires analysis to select the best supplier. AHP is a decision support model method that describes complex multi-factor or multi-criteria problems into a hierarchy. AHP is used as a problem solving method with the reason of taking into account validity up inconsistency tolerance limit as criteria and alternatives chosen by decision maker. The criterion thatmost influence on selection of suppliers for PT Supraco Indonesia is Quality with the highest weight of 0.73. Calculation the weight of alternative values for each criterion, it was obtained that highest weighted Quality criterion was obtained by Aqua Terra, on Cost criterion highest weight was obtained by Manunggal, on Delivery criterion the highest weight was obtained by Sentra Medika. Based on the results of calculating all the criteria and alternatives in analysis of the best supplier selection, where Aqua Terra has the best performance while supplier with lowest performance is Sentra Medika.

Abstract

Water is one of the components of the environment that is very important for development and growth, not only for humans but also for other living things. The problem of clean water is something that is often encountered by people who need clean water for their daily needs. The limited amount of water is not proportional to the number of consumers, causing a clean water crisis. The adverse effects caused by consuming polluted water are diarrhea, cholera, polio, and poisoning. Diarrhea is one of the most common diseases caused by water pollution. Diarrhea can result in dehydration and death for children. An equally serious impact is poisoning caused by water pollution through waste. Sufferers will experience anemia and hypertension to disrupt the nervous system. Therefore, an effective clean water treatment method is needed, one of which is the filtration method. Filtration can also be considered as a water treatment method that is clean, affordable and can be used by the community directly. Most of the media used in the water treatment process is activated carbon. The media has good capabilities but is not economical. In this study, it was found that sand and clay proved to be effective for treating dirty water into clean water, with the result that filtration using sand and clay media was able to normalize 95% of the pH by 7 with a predetermined thickness of sand and clay so that it complies with clean water requirements according to RI Minister of Health No. 907/MENKES/VII/2002 with predetermined pH parameter values.

Abstract

PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk is a company engaged in the animal feed industry. The raw material that is managed to become animal feed is corn. Raw material management process activities are carried out very strictly in its management to produce quality animal feed. Procurement of raw materials pays attention to the quality of corn prior to purchase. The first stage is carried out by the company in ensuring the quality of the raw materials to be received. After purchasing raw materials, a quality control process is carried out which Quality Control strictly and thoroughly ensures the quality of corn before it is stored according to company standards. This research uses the Economic Order Quantity method because it needs to analyze in more depth the problems that occur at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk. In supporting production processes, this study analyzes activity conditions, then models a raw material management system for companies that can assist in planning and controlling raw materials so as to support the production process. and produce modeling of raw material management systems in production planning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Firm Size on Return On Equity at PT. Adhi Karya for the 2015-2021 period. Data were obtained from financial reports that have been published by PT. Adhi Karya for the 2015-2021 time period. The research used is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The results of the study show that Current Ratio (CR) has no partial effect on Return on equity, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a partial effect on Return on equity, Firm Size has a significant effect on Return on equity. Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Firm Size simultaneously affect Return on equity. The results of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) show that the variables CR, DER, Firm Size have an effect of 64% and the remaining 36% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Because of the tofu production process, the tofu industry has standards in order to reduce the impact on the environment. By studying a proper and environmentally friendly Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) with Simapro software, this study aims to identify potential environmental consequences, analyze the causes that cause environmental impacts, and make recommendations for environmental impact management as a backup plan. LCA is a method for determining which stages of a product's life cycle have the greatest environmental impact and for identifying and analyzing those impacts across all phases. The three main effects of the Eco-Indicator 99(H) approach are inorganic respiration, climate change, and carcinogens. The use of coagulants, firewood, and electricity are contributing factors to this effect. Other changes that can be made to reduce the consequences include increasing the effectiveness of the device and substituting the acetic acid coagulant for nigarin and ongoing milk residue from the settling process.

Abstract

Development Unit (UP) I Rungkut is one of the areas in Surabaya that has a high risk of sanitation problems. The causes are environmental problems arising from the disposal of domestic waste which is directly discharged into drainage channels. Therefore, the Development Unit (UP) I Rungkut Surabaya City designed a Wastewater Distribution System and a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). In this study, a shallow sewer type wastewater distribution system was used because it is suitable for areas of high population density and gently sloping ground elevations. In the WWTP, several alternative technologies are used, such as the Bar Screen, Equalization Tank, Flotation Tank & Oil Settlement Tank, Mixing Tank (Coagulation-Sedimentation Tank), Food Chain Reactor, Final Clarifier, and Sludge Drying Beds. The planning area is divided into 5 service blocks with a total population of 24,405 people. The results of the study of the technical aspects, are used WWTP with the main processing using the Food Chain Reactor unit. The planning results show that HDPE pipes with a diameter of 355-500 mm are used in the distribution system. The required investment budget is Rp. 87,832,528,386.00. The budget for operating and maintenance costs is Rp. 4,000.00/House Connection (SR) every month.

Abstract

The location of the research carried out in journal writing here is the KAREB Cooperative. KAREB KOPERASI is a company that provides tobacco redriying services. The KAREB Cooperative is a place where tobacco from many consumers is processed to then be made into cigarettes where the process takes place in the thresher unit in this cooperative, and the tobacco processing can last for approximately 15 hours, and this does not rule out the possibility of trouble on the machine used. Implementation of quality control related to quality standards determined by the company. Quality control seeks to reduce the number of defective products, ensure that the final product produced is in accordance with the company's quality standards and prevent product defects from escaping into the hands of consumers. So one of the methods used to control the quality of product defects is the six sigma method. The steps used in this method include research that provides data breakdown which includes presenting, analyzing and interpreting data. The data collection process was obtained from the results of interviews and discussions with KAREB Cooperative quality control .
