Abstract

Understanding of production and production of limestone processing services, transportation and general trade. However, in line with the national development wheel which opens up wide opportunities for other fields, the company does not rule out expanding in other fields. The company is estabhilised in trading companies for chemical products. With the existence of a mining location and also supported by adequate equipment facilities, this company believes that it can serve consumers according to the specifications determined by the consumer company. The purpose of this research is to understand about the Limestone Combustion Process and the function of limestone. The data collection method used is the direct participation of researchers on the object of research, field observations and interviews with the department responsible for managing the combustion process in CV. TIMBUL JAYA PUTRA. The results of the research conducted, it was found that the combustion process carried out by CV TIMBUL JAYA PUTRA was quite good. So, you can get quality limestone and be able to compete in the market.

Abstract

The Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of the City of Surabaya is a company that produces clean water in Surabaya so that there are often problems with the production system, including damage to a device such as a pump. Pump is a tool or machine used to move liquids from one place to another. If the maintenance is appropriate and planned, the obstacles and problems that arise are not getting more and the budget is getting smaller. The purpose of this study is to find out the types of water pumps in IPAM NGAGEL 1 PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya, find out how to repair the water pump at IPAM NGAGEL 1 PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya, and know the maintenance and maintenance of water pumps at IPAM NGAGEL 1 PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya. The power collection method used is the direct participation of researchers on the object of research, observations and interviews with the field responsible for managing the maintenance of the pump in IPAM NGAGEL 1 PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that in IPAM Ngagel 1 PDAM Surya Sembada itself the pumps are divided into 2 types of pumps, namely raw water pumps (PS) and distribution pumps (PK). On the one hand, the recommended maintenance in order to extend the life of the pump is a scheduled monitor once a week covering electrical and mechanical, scheduled maintenance once a week includes cleanliness, bolt tightness, religment, and greasing, the last is the need for a personal complaint procedure in the form of application complaints (personal assistance) and asset management applications (Asset Management).

Abstract

PPSDM Migas Cepu is one of the industries engaged in Human Resource Development in the Oil and Gas sector. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 13 of 2016, concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the organizational structure of the Oil and Gas PPSDM is divided into 3 areas, namely the planning and standardization field, the program and evaluation field and the implementation and infrastructure sector as well as from the administrative side assisted by the administrative section. . In the water treatment plant, PLC is used for control. The purpose of waste treatment is to prevent and overcome pollution and/or environmental damage caused by B3 waste and to restore the quality of the polluted environment so that it is in accordance with its function. Waste is waste whose presence at a certain time and place is not desired by the environment because it has no economic value. Waste contains contaminants that are toxic and dangerous. This waste is known as B3 waste (toxic and hazardous materials). This material is formulated as a material in relatively small quantities but has the potential to pollute/damage the environment and resources. From the results of the research conducted, it is found that the control system with a fast process using the Proportional + Integral (PI) controller mode is preferred considering that the system response is more stable to reach the setpoint. Also, if using HMI can make it easier to observe the simulation, when the on button is pressed, the system will run and the tank of substances will start to decrease. The decrease in the value of the substance tank is influenced by the mixing value, and in the above simulation, the working Dukem substance tank is shown in the red simulation pipe.

Abstract

Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Jambi Merang is a company that produces natural gas and condensate. The natural gas produced is sold to PLN in Jambi, South Sumatra and West Java as fuel for PLN and industry. Meanwhile, the condensate is exported to Singapore as industrial fuel. Because the pump is a vital equipment or component in a natural gas production process and to learn about reciprocating pumps and how to maintain them so that the pump can work optimally and be ready for use at any time. The purpose of this research is to understand about Preventive Maintenance (Preventive maintenance) on the Horizontal Plunger Pump and study the problems that often occur in the Horizontal Plunger Pump and how to solve them. The data collection methods used were direct researcher participation in the research object, field observations and interviews with the department responsible for managing the horizontal plunger pump at PERTAMINA HULU ENERGY JAMBI MERANG. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the preventive maintenance work on the Horizontal Plunger Pump LP Flare KOD which was carried out at PHE Jambi Merang included weekly service, 3 month service, and 6 month service. In addition, problems that often occur with the Horizontal Plunger Pump at PHE Jambi Merang include the suction strainer often experiencing an increase in differential pressure, the rapid filling of the high level in the exhaust fluid storage tank from oil, seepage or leakage in the lubrication tank on the level indicator bar, noise on the V-Belt, excessive vibration or vibration, lube oil pressure to the stuffing box is often insufficient.

Abstract

One of the industrial sectors that can be in the engineering field is the oil processing industry. Crude oil obtained from the earth can of course be used directly for daily needs such as cooking or for vehicle fuel. The oil needs to be processed so that it becomes suitable for use according to the needs to be used. This oil processing is carried out in a place called a refinery. At PPSDM Migas Cepu there is a refinery unit that processes crude oil into several oil products including residue, diesel and pertasol. The processing process uses atmospheric distillation or through a heating process. The purpose of this study is to determine the stages of crude oil processing at the Cepu PPSDM Migas Refinery unit, and the final product of crude oil processing at the Cepu PPSDM Migas Refinery unit. The data collection method used is a literature study conducted by looking for references both journals and books in the library of the Cepu Oil and Gas Human Resources Development Center to determine the refinery system, observations made by direct observation to the unit and control room to obtain temperature data, pressure and capacity of oil entering and leaving crude oil, fuel oil, gas fuel, and interviews were carried out in 2 stages, namely in the control room section and the development of the research process. The results of the research carried out, it was found that the stages of processing crude oil in the refinery unit through the atmospheric distillation process, namely preheating in the Heat Exchanger (HE), heating in the Furnace (F), evaporation in the Evaporator (V), separation in the fractionation column and stripper (C), condensation and cooling in the condenser (CN) and cooler (CL), separation from water in the separator (S) resulted in 10% CA pertasol, 5% CB pertasol, 1% CC pertasol, 59% Solar, residue 25 %.

Abstract

Potential hazards that can cause work accidents can come from various work activities carried out in work operations and can also come from outside the scope of work. Therefore, the implementation of an occupational safety and health program is in the form of implementing an OHS management system, including through identification of hazards and recommendations for effective control measures, so as to create a safe, healthy and prosperous work environment. PT. Pertamina asset 4 Sukowati Field is an energy company, which is engaged in the oil and gas industry, including exploration and production, which is located in Bojonegoro, East Java province. In the oil and gas production process, there are many potential hazards in various work activities. Within a company, there are potential hazards in the operation and repair of equipment. Some of these hazards are high pressure, high temperature, falling objects, automatic systems that can cause pinching, mechanical, high electrical voltage, noise from loud engine sounds, chemicals, exposure to toxic H2S gas. The purpose of this research is to know the occupational health and safety control system, to know the process of B3 waste treatment, and to know how to maintain fire fighting equipment. The data collection method used is participation where the author is directly involved in internship activities regarding occupational health and safety control programs, field observations where researchers monitor or direct observations in the field, in order to know firsthand about safety at work, and interviews by asking direct questions. to the staff of the department on the science of occupational safety and health in the workplace. the results of the research conducted, it was found that in order to maintain the safety and health of its employees, the company provides work safety facilities, all workers must care and be aware of work safety, in order to maintain health in the form of free treatment, sports facilities and adequate food and nutrition allowances. So the risk of work accidents will be smaller. Actions to manage waste or B3 materials used in the production operation process will be handled in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The processing of B3 waste begins with temporary storage in a special storage room that has a permit from the KLHK/DLH/Governor/Regent to be sent to a B3 waste collection/processing company that has a permit from the KLHK, or also known as a third party. Periodic maintenance is required according to standard maintenance procedures.

Abstract

The water wheel is defined as a mechanical device in the form of a wheel with blades (buckets or spatulas) around the edges which are on the horizontal axis of water as the working fluid. The water flowing into and out of the wheel has no excess pressure, only atmospheric pressure. The speed of the water flowing into the wheel must be large, because if the speed is large, the impetus on the blades of the water wheel will be greater. Comparison of the Effect of Natural Flow Performance and the Use of Sluice Gate on the Wheel. The use of Sluice Gate on the Waterwheel affects the performance of the waterwheel and from several variations in the width of the sluice gate flow gap (25mm), (35mm), and (40mm) with a sluice gate flow gap of 40 mm with an efficiency of 38.12 % at 40 rpm rotation, which is 13 Watt higher than the natural flow test at 40 rpm, the rotation speed is 5.11 watts with an efficiency of 10%, and the lowest power at 10 rpm is 3 watts and an efficiency of 6% with a discharge of 12 liters per second.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the industrial sector apart from having a positive impact on economic development and the prosperity of the nation also has potential hazards that can cause accidents, fires or explosions and environmental pollution. Therefore it is necessary to have efforts to prevent and control work-related accidents and diseases in companies by referring to Law Number 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety and the regulations derived and related to this matter. This study aims to determine the application of K3 in the company and the potential for work hazards as well as to determine risk control that occurs in the Finish Mill Unit of PT. Semen Indonesia (PERSERO) Tbk. Tuban Plant based on hazard identification and hazard assessment. Data collection methods in this study are observation and reference. While the data analysis method uses the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control) method. Based on the research results, it can be seen that in general PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The East Java Tuban Factory has met statutory requirements in the scope of work safety including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Based on the results of the research, suggestions that can be conveyed are that it is necessary to carry out monitoring and review of the effectiveness of controls that have been implemented as a reference for continual improvement measures at certain time intervals.

Abstract

Performance is the most important aspect in achieving goals with maximum results from the performance of a good team or individual company. And vice versa, failure to achieve the formulated goals is the result of inefficient team or individual performance. the influence of employee safety and health on employee performance greatly determines the company's progress, this is due to the maximum worker conditions that will affect the results of their performance. This research uses multiple linear regression method because it uses x and y variables. In the regression method we have to distribute questionnaires to the respondents we are aiming for. This calculation uses the Multiple Linear Regression method with employee performance as the dependent variable (Y) and employee health and safety as the influencing variable (X). From the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that the variable Health (X1) did not affect employee performance (Y) and safety (X2) had a linear effect on employee performance (Y). With a linear result Y = 1.652 –0.120 x1 + 1.046 x2.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health is a program created in an effort to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases. The goal is to create a comfortable, safe, and healthy workplace so that it can reduce the risk of work accidents as much as possible. The method used in reducing the risk of work accidents at PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The Tuban factory, namely the HIRARAC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control) method, After conducting the research, there are several sources of danger that exist in the kiln unit, namely operating the kiln when the percentage of carbon dioxide is high, replacing burnerheads, operating belt conveyors, repairing electrical panels, checking kiln shell inlets, breaking dead-end production lines, and adding chemical mixtures. Then they carried out risk management efforts to reduce the risk of workplace accidents. Risk control measures are guided by the control hierarchy, namely by means of elimination, substitution, design, administration, and PPE. Risk control that has been carried out is by installing and complying with safety lines, barricades, safety signs, and using PPE, including safety helmets, safety shoes, hand gloves, a full body harness, safety goggles, fire-resistant clothing (nomex), and respirators.
