Abstract

Health is the most important part of human life, physically and spiritually healthy. However, not all children have sufficient knowledge about personal health. Elementary school age is an ideal time to train children's motor skills, including personal health. The aim is to provide education about personal health, including washing hands with soap, cleaning body parts, food and drink restrictions that can keep teeth and mouth clean. The methods used are demonstrations, counseling, using animated video media to create two-way communication and make students active in participating in activities. In this service, an instrument is used in the form of a questionnaire to measure students' knowledge and skills. The results of the socialization and demonstration that have been carried out are an increase of 40% to 90% in the knowledge indicator and an increase in skills of 35% to 80% in the skills indicator, so that this activity can be concluded to be able to increase the knowledge and skills of grade 3 students at Dawuhan Kidul I Elementary School. Explain about your own health.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is a chronic disease that often shows no symptoms at the begin of the disease, so many people are not aware that they have PTM. This incident means that the lack of efficacy in carrying out early screening for PTM can be identified by carrying out early detection by checking blood pressure, blood cholesterol levels, blood sugar and measuring Body Mass Index. The aim of this activity is to detect early risk factors for non-communicable diseases after an examination. This activity includes checking blood pressure, cholesterol levels and blood glucose levels. This activity was carried out on Sunday 7 August 2023. The location of this Community Service was carried out in Dukuh Nyamplung RT 03/ RW 06, Donoharjo Village, Ngaglik District, Sleman Regency. This activity was attended by 46. The results of the early detection of NCDs showed that 37% of residents had hypertension, 75% of residents had hypercholesterolemia and 35% had hyperglycemia.

Abstract

The use of pesticides in husbandry is nothing new, it aims to increase agrarian products. Still, growers frequently don't use pesticides wisely, so the prevalence of poisoning due to pesticides is still high. One of the causes of high situations of poisoning is the low use of a particular defensive outfit. This low mindfulness is touched off by growers' lack of knowledge about the use of particular defensive outfits and the troubles of pesticides. This community service exertion aims to increase growers' knowledge about particular defensive outfits and pesticides. The conditioning was carried out in Gebang Anom Village, Rowosari District, Kendal Regency, Central Java for 3 days. The exertion begins by reviewing demographic data and measuring the original position of knowledge, also health education is handed. On the last day, another dimension was carried out regarding growers' knowledge about the use of particular defensive outfits and the troubles of pesticides. Data collection uses a questionnaire. After carrying out the analysis, the results showed that there was an increase in growers' knowledge by 27 percent about particular defensive outfits and the troubles of pesticides. Furnishing education can increase farmer's understanding so it's hoped that changes in stations regarding the use of particular defensive outfits can increase. Through this exertion, it's hoped that growers will be suitable to cover themselves from exposure and spot duly. Comprehensive and sustainable multisector collaboration can be a trouble to ameliorate farmer’s health.
