Abstract

The use of laptops is generally to meet the needs of wireless communication and internet access. The use of laptops has increased very high in the world of education, both among school and college students. The majority of today's school children always bring laptops to school because of the demands of an increasingly sophisticated era. In the world of education, Australia is a pioneer country for the use of laptops in the school environment, laptops are in great demand because they can be used anywhere and also the use of laptops has a positive impact on the learning and teaching process. The data collection method was carried out by interviews using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that there was no significant relationship between laptop size and health complaints that were felt due to laptop use (Pvalue = 0.961), there was no significant relationship between the duration of laptop use and health complaints that were felt due to laptop use (Pvalue = 0.782), no there is a significant relationship between the frequency of laptop use and health complaints that are felt due to laptop use (Pvalue = 0.065), there is a significant relationship between body position when using a laptop and health complaints that are felt due to laptop use (Pvalue = 0.002).

Abstract

Education has a role to improve the quality of its Human Resources (HR). The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia-based learning media in the Introduction to Computer course. The method used in this development is the Research and Development (R&D) method. Research and development methods are methods used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products. The research and development itself is carried out based on an industry-based development model, the findings of which are used to design products and procedures, which are then systematically carried out by field tests, evaluated, refined to meet certain criteria for effectiveness, quality and standards. Interactive multimedia-based learning media in the Introduction to Computer course is proven to be able to increase conceptual understanding in Level III students. This can be seen from the results of the average student understanding of the pre-test control group 62.31 and the experimental group 69.81. From several validation experts, it means that this learning media does not need to be revised. However, this learning tool will still be improved based on suggestions and comments from each validation subject.

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems in fraction material in the form of story problems is an issue faced by elementary school students, especially in the fourth-grade students. Analysis, reasoning, and understanding in solving students' story problems are still weak, besides that students assume that learning mathematics is difficult and unpleasant before trying it. This is the research’s background with the aim of knowing the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the ability to solve mathematical problems in telling fraction material. This research used the Literature Study. Data collection techniques obtained from the study of literature by collecting data and references from a number of books, journals and theses that fit the purpose of the study. The research results obtained in this study by using literature studies are 1) Student learning is more meaningful by linking the material to the real world, 2) Pressing students to be able to exchange knowledge and learn to work together, 3) Give students the ability to solve mathematical problems in the matter of fraction material stories. This research was conducted by comparing arguments, ideas, opinions and research results from 54 references taken by researchers in this study. This shows that there is The Effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Model in Math Problem Solving Ability in Story Fractional Material Story in Grade IV Elementary Students.

Abstract

In this study, researchers have examined the shortcomings and obstacles that arise during the teaching and learning process. This is the reason for researchers to apply the quantum teaching method which has been proven to increase student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study, student learning outcomes have increased significantly. This research went through 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle, the students' completeness was only 40% and increased in the second cycle to 73.33%. An increase in the average score from 65 in the first cycle to 77.67 in the second cycle, and an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes, 20% to 77.67 in the first cycle and 33.33% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a program of providing conditional social assistance to very poor families (KSM) designated as beneficiary families of PKH. population welfare. However, to get this PKH assistance, the community must register first by coming directly to the wali nagari office. In this case, it takes a long time for the community to register until the data is received by the village guardian's office. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by collecting data through observations, interviews and literature studies. The data collected is in the form of PKH participant data and PKH recipient data. Therefore, it is necessary to design a web-based information system for recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH) for the Tebing Tinggi Wali Nagari Office. With this system, the public can input personal data online, the wali nagari office employees and PKH assistants get data reports online, and the public can view information directly that their names are included in the data of PKH beneficiaries.

Abstract

Bank Mandiri Sungai Rumbai is still implementing manual attendance. Then the author has a Face ID-based attendance plan that is more effective during a pandemic like today. Face ID attendance is expected to be useful and can improve employee discipline. The methodology used by the author is the waterfall methodology, this methodology is in the form of an overview, design and manufacture by uniting several separate parts into a unified whole to clarify the form of a system. using the PyCharm application with the Python programming language, where the initial stage of this attendance information system enters the employee's Name and ID, then trains (Training) the employee's face and finally takes attendance (Attendance) by the employee.
