Abstract

The weakening of interest in reading and counting students in MI/SD made the government change UN to AN. The change of policy gave rise to a confusion of information on the division of tasks in its implementation. This study aims to analyze the preparation, implementation and evaluation of national assessments in improving literacy and numeracy at the basic level. The research was carried out before and after the national assessment in the fifth grade from June to January 2021-2022. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The primary data used is the education system law number 17 of 2021 concerning the functions and objectives of national education. The secondary data is an interview with the national assessment admin of Karangrejo District, Tulungagung Regency and the teachers who carry out the national assessment in their respective schools. Samples were taken by random random sampling. The results of the study were the fear of the teachers in implementing AN because the school did not have adequate infrastructure, the confusion of the speaker in the preparation of internet data made the proctor prepare all the equipment himself when the implementation of AN was carried out and the evaluation that was not yet understood by the teachers caused a confusion of information related to the benefits of holding a national assessment.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 and the demands for changes in the 21st century human mindset are very large for the ability to think critically. Learning the concept of character education with problem solving methods can increase the ability to think critically and very critically individually by 28.57% from the first cycle of 57.14% to 100% in the second cycle. As well as the increase in learning outcomes of the concept of character education for Civics students, at least in category B, increased by 92.18% from the first cycle of 7.14% to 100% in the second cycle.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi satuan panjang. Tujuannya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika satuan panjang melalui metode pembelajaran discovery pada siswa kelas II SDIT Sulamun Najah . Metode discovery adalah metode pembelajaran yang membuat siswa berpikir dan berusaha memecahkan masalahnya secara mandiri dengan pertanyaan yang mengarahkan dari guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 bulan pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan tiga siklus, yaitu prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Setiap siklus dibagi menjadi 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II yang berjumlah 29 orang. Data yang diperoleh selama penelitian dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil peneltian tindakan kelas yang didapatkan yaitu rata-rata hasil belajar satuan panjang siswa pada prasiklus adalah 50,34 dengan ketuntasan 28%, siklus I adalah 70,34 dengan ketuntasan 55%, dan siklus II adalah 81,72 dengan ketuntasan 86%. Adapun, penilaian hasil observasi pada siklus I adalah 62,5% dan siklus II adalah 83%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil observasi dan hasil rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan. Dengan demikian, metode pembelajaran discovery dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar satuan panjang pada siswa kelas II.

Abstract

The purpose of this descriptive qualitative study is to examine students'motivation toward on-line learning and their preference on of this type of learning. The target population consisted of 81 USM students from Faculty of Communication Science who took English TOEFL course. Questionnaires were distributed to the students during the learning process. The questionnaire consists of 10 objective questions with 5 answer choices: strongly agree, agree, quite agree, disagree, strongly disagree and 2 free answer questions. The total score of the questionnares was 2902 indicating that students’ motivation was on moderate category which is in line with the result of similar research. While most students prefer on-line learning due to its practicality to access the streaming, material, submitting assignments; others find that they lack of concentration, interaction, and ability to master the subject and external problem like unstable wifi connection.

Abstract

The world is currently faced with a covid-19 pandemic that forces people to move at home, including the world of education that carries out teaching and learning activities from home using online learning. This research aims to find out the causes and ways to overcome the learning difficulties of students of class X MIPA 4 Sma Negeri 1 Kota Sorong on math learning using microsoft teams during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is quantitative descriptive combined with qualitative approaches. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA 4 Sma Negeri 1 Kota Sorong school year 2020/2021 which amounted to 26 students and 1 math teacher. The object in this study is the cause of students' learning difficulties using microsoft teams on math learning provided by teachers. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that students experienced several causes of learning difficulties that were divided into 4 (four) indicators, students' inability to learn online, interaction in the learning process, assignments and teaching materials and technical constraints on online learning using microsoft teams.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the discourse on the interaction of the teacher's language class in Wafa learning through online media in class II E SDIT Al-Fatih Makassar City. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are in the form of teacher utterances used when teaching and learning in the classroom by paying attention to the discourse of class interaction in the form of transactions, exchanges, and actions. Data collection techniques using recording techniques. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out through the following steps: (1) data transcription, (2) data classification, (3) data interpretation, and (4) data conclusion. Checking the validity of the data is done by member checking or checking with the respondent. The results of the research found are the discourse of class interaction in the form of transactions, exchanges, and actions. In the discourse of transactions, three types of transactions were found, namely information transactions, directive transactions, and inducement transactions. In exchange discourse, one type of exchange is found, namely boundary exchange. In the discourse of action, there are thirteen types of acts, namely markers, introductions, provocations, examinations, directives, informative, encouragement, instructions, confessions, answers, approvals, metastatements, and conclusions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara penerapan dan motivasi belajar pada materi tematik tentang kebersamaan di sekolah siswa kelas II SD melalui media flipbook. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, termasuk penelitian jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi guru, observasi siswa, dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media flipbook untuk motivasi belajar memperoleh persentase 89,1%, aktivitas belajar siswa kelas II UPT SD Negeri 62 Gresik mencapai skor 88%, rata-rata yang diperoleh dari data angket respon siswa kelas II UPT SD Negeri 62 Gresik adalah 95% dengan kategori sangat baik dan respon siswa bisa dinyatakan positif. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa setelah penerapan media Flipbook, motivasi belajar siswa kelas II UPT SD Negeri 62 Gresik mengalami peningkatan yang sangat besar.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan frasa eksosentris bahasa Manggarai dialek Kolang, Kecamatan Kuwus, kabupaten Manggarai. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif serta metode dan teknik yang digunakan adalah simak libat cakap, simak bebas libat cakap, teknik pancing, rekam dan catat, sedangkan teori yang digunakan yaitu teori Sintaksis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dalam bahasa Manggarai dialek Kolang terdapat frase nominal berdasarkan distribusi eksosentris.

Abstract

Banyak faktor yang perlu diperhatikan oleh Pemerintah dalam menumbuh- kembangkan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) di Indonesia, di antaranya ialah faktor aksesibilitas atau jangkauan masyarakat yang hendak belajar/menuntut ilmu di MI; faktor jumlah dan kualitas guru; faktor kurikulum yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan capaian pembelajaran lulusan; dan faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal. Faktor-faktor tersebut, baik secara tunggal maupun secara gabungan (beberapa faktor yang saling berkait), adalah bahan pertimbangan bagi masyarakat atau orang tua calon siswa MI dalam rangka pengambilan keputusan memilih sekolah di MI atau di tempat lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami faktor-faktor apa saja yang menjadi Pendukung Keputusan Orang Tua Menyekolahkan Anak di MI Raudlatul Mutaallimin Darul Abror Bekasi Tahun 2019; dan faktor apa paling dominan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara secara mendalam kepada 10 (sepuluh) informan yaitu orang tua siswa MI Raudlatul Mutaallimin Darul Abror Bekasi Tahun 2019. Sebagian besar informan adalah ibu-ibu dari siswa yang rutin menghantar dan menjemput anaknya bersekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung keputusan orang tua menyekolahkan anak di MI RM Darul Abror yaitu (a) proporsi pendidikan/ pelajaran agama Islam dalam kurikulum madrasah yang relatif besar, (b) jarak tempuh dari domisili siswa ke madrasah relatif dekat, (c) biaya pendidikan yang relatif terjangkau oleh orang tua siswa, (d) sistem belajar di madrasah yang full day, (e) keinginan dari anak/calon siswa sendiri, (f) sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, (g) madrasah telah memiliki akreditasi amat baik, dan (h) kepercayaan mayarakat terhadap madrasah secara turun temurun. Dari semua faktor ini, adapun faktor pendukung yang dominan yaitu proporsi pendidikan/pelajaran agama Islam dalam kurikulum madrasah yang relatif besar.

Abstract

Abstract: That in the context of developing national education, the active participation of the entire community is required. The forms of participation that have developed so far are very varied, depending on the situation and conditions of each region. In addition to the participation of the entire community, it is absolutely necessary for government policies to always support the direction of increasing the number and quality of educational institutions at all levels, including Islamic religious education. This study aims to determine the form of community participation and government policies in establishing/developing Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ar-Rahman in Widodaren Village, Widodaren District, Ngawi Regency. The subjects of the research were the staff of the Ministry of Religion of Ngawi Regency, the Chairperson of the Ar-Rahman Widodaren Foundation, the Head of the Ibtidaiyah Madrasah Ar-Rahman Widodaren, a number of parents of students and members of the community around MI Ar-Rahman Widodaren. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques: interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using a single site; and checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques and confirmability criteria. The results of the study show that: (1) the form of community participation in the development of MI Ar-Rahman Widodaren, in physical form including waqf land from residents, money, materials, teak wood, building power, consumption, benches, and shuttle car facilities, and school library books. Non-physical forms of community participation include ideas or contributions from community leaders, religious leaders, and other non-formal figures; and (2) government policies in the development of MI Ar-Rahman Widodaren in the form of administrative and non-administrative assistance, including planning, implementing, and evaluating the development program of MI Ar-Rahman Widodaren, including funding for School Operational Fees (BOS) and state teachers. which is still ongoing today.
