Abstract

Lecturers in Indonesia only focus on original research in implementing Tri Dharma of Higher Education. A literature review has not been optimally used because of the lack of guidance. This article aimed to describe what a literature review is and how to compile good literature. This article is a simple literature review. The keywords used were "literature review", "literature review", "scoping review", and "systematic review" from the databases of Google Scholar, ResearchGate, SpringerLink, and EBSCO. The search resulted in 10 selected articles that discussed the review literature from the definition, type, stages of making a literature review. Writing a good literature review must be done starting from determining the source of the article to the understandable conclusions. To reduce the risk of errors in making a literature review, we must pay attention to the guidelines to obtain a literature review with high quality of evidence and low bias.

Abstract

Antenatal care is a program that plans in the form of observation, education, and medical treatment of pregnant women, obtaining a safe and satisfying pregnancy and delivery process. Pre-Eclampsia is hypertension that occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Pre-Eclampsia is followed by the onset of hypertension along with urinary protein and edema due to pregnancy after 20 weeks of gestation or immediately after delivery. This study aimed to determine the relationship between adherence antenatal care and the occurrence of Pre-Eclampsia. This study used an analytic survey method with a cross-sectional approach.  The sample was 34 pregnant women. The results of the study found that there was no significant relationship between adherence to antenatal care (ANC) and the occurrence of Pre-eclampsia. This study concluded that most pregnant women adhere to adherence to antenatal care (ANC) and a small proportion of pregnant women do not experience Pre-Eclampsia.

Abstract

Vaginal discharge often occurs in women, including teenagers. Teenagers who do not maintain the cleanliness of the genital area are at risk of experiencing genital problems such as vaginal discharge. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of personal genital hygiene with the incidence of vaginal discharge in female students of Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Ulul Albab Koto Baru, Dharmasraya Regency. While the method used in this research is using the analytical survey method and using cross-sectional. The sampling method is using a total sampling of 44 respondents. The results obtained using the chi-square test obtained p-value = 0.034 <0.05. There is a significant relationship between genital personal hygiene and the incidence of vaginal discharge.

Abstract

Many factors would affect the accuracy of Central Venous Pressure (CVP) measurement such as patient’s position during the measuring. Any fault that occurs while measuring could bring a fatal impact such as death. This study aimed to determine the effect of the CVP measuring position towards the results CVP  measurement of critical care patients. This study is a quasi-experimental study with Pre and Post Test design without control by measuring the CVP of 45 respondents with supine and semi-fowler positions. Statistical test using paired samples T-test. The results showed a significant difference in the results of measuring CVP in critical care patients between before and after changing positions with p-value = 0.003. In conclusion, this study indicates that there are differences in the results of the CVP measurement position and it is hoped that nurses can take measurements correctly to avoid any intervention error throughout providing patient care.

Abstract

Lifestyle is characterized by behavioral patterns that have an impact on health, such as poor diet, smoking, and alcohol, and irregular eating patterns lead to digestive disease, namely gastritis. The purpose of the study was to obtain results about the relationship between diet, type of food, and cigarettes with the incidence of gastritis. This research used a descriptive method with a cross-sectional study. The number of samples carried out by the study was 50 respondents. The results showed that most of the 26 respondents (52.0%) with a poor diet; most of the respondents (52.0%) had poor eating and drinking habits; almost all respondents (76.0%) smoked; most of the respondents (58.0%) had gastritis. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between eating patterns, eating and drinking habits, and smoking on the incidence of gastritis. It is expected that respondents can maintain their diet and not smoke to prevent gastritis.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, midwives must have a good knowledge and attitude about health protocols, especially about antenatal care. This study aimed to determine the knowledge and attitude of midwives in providing midwifery services in accordance with antenatal care health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study was a descriptive study with total sampling. 35 midwives in the area of ​​Dharmasraya Regency were involved in this study. The sampling process is done online by distributing questionnaires through a link on WhatsApp. The results of the study were: most of the respondents (68.6%) had good knowledge and 82.9% had a positive attitude about the antenatal care health protocol. A good midwife's knowledge and a positive attitude about antenatal care protocols during Covid-19 in providing pregnancy care can improve maternal health and prevent the transmission of diseases caused by Covid-19.
