Abstract

FoMO or Fear of Missing Out behavior is a type of behavior that is very widespread these days. The aim of this study is to analyze and dissect the FoMO behavior. In particular, it concerns shoe fashion, which is widespread among students. The existence of different types of faculties spread across universities with the grouping of saintek and soshum certainly has consequences for students. It provides a perspective on a phenomenon. Of course, there are differences between the two large groups. It is this difference that provides an interesting proposition for why this research was conducted. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study showed that FoMO behavior has consequences for students buying or consuming goods, especially shoes with brand value. The authenticity of an item also influences students' shopping interest. They prefer to buy original or genuine shoes, which guarantee quality, rather than branded but fake or imitation (KW) shoes. Thus, it can be concluded that there is still relevance between the theory of consumer society by Jean P. Baudrillard and the condition of contemporary students of Jember University.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether financial target, financial stability, nature of industry, ineffective monitoring, change in auditor, change in director, frequent number of CEO's picture and state-owned enterprises influence the practice of financial statement fraud in healthcare sector companies registered on the IDX in 2019-2022. The sample used in this research consisted of 16 healthcare sector companies with 64 annual reports and 64 financial reports. The samples selected used purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that financial targets, ineffective monitoring and state-owned enterprises have a positive effect on financial statement fraud, while the nature of industry has a negative effect on financial statement fraud, for financial stability, change in auditor and change in director do not have a positive effect on financial statement fraud and frequent number of CEO's pictures do not have a negative effect on financial statement fraud.

Abstract

One of the teachings in religion, especially Islam, encourages its followers to give charity to others. Charity is considered an effort to eradicate poverty and provide assistance to fellow human beings. However, in reality, it is often found that some people are reluctant to give charity due to various factors. This includes the belief that charity may diminish their wealth, as well as doubts about giving charity due to concerns about the misuse of funds and whether they will reach the right recipients. Recognizing this, there is a need for a medium that can build awareness of the importance of giving charity. One effective approach is to use social media, such as Instagram, to engage the public and encourage them to contribute. In this context, Sahwa Pure Water utilizes Instagram to invite the target audience to donate. The collected funds will be directed to the visually impaired, the underprivileged, and mosques along travel routes around Surabaya in the form of Sahwa drinking water products. The Instagram feed design of Sahwa Pure Water adopts the concept of persuasive communication theory, consisting of Attention, Interest, Desire, Decision, and Action. This is implemented through the use of techniques such as arrangement, reward, and fear arousing. The campaign can be found on their Instagram account @baikitusahwa.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing decline in morals and ethics in society due to the increasing development of technology in the world. Where the content contained in it greatly influences the formation of people's character. Therefore, this research was carried out so that people can be wiser in using social media and not view social media as something trivial and its existence does not need to be paid attention to in forming children's character. The objectives to be achieved in this research are a. the influence of social media in character formation, especially in morals and ethics in the digital era b. necessary solutions in dealing with the influence of social media in character formation, especially in terms of morals and ethics in the current digital era. This research was conducted on students attending high school level with an age range of 16-18 years. The results of this research prove that social media is very influential on the formation of student character which includes the morals and ethics of students and this research also proves that social media is very closely related to students and is very difficult to separate, but social media is also like a double-edged sword. for students because if they cannot use it well then they will fall in the wrong direction which will cause their morals and ethics to decline and if they can use it well then they will have a wide network in society. The method used in this research is the Creswell case study qualitative research method by digging deeper into character education in the digital era: how technology influences the formation of morals and ethics so that we can find out more deeply about the influence of technology in the formation of morals and ethics in the digital era and its challenges. challenges faced and ultimately lead to finding solutions to the challenges and problems faced in character formation in the digital era. Based on the research we conducted, we also obtained several solutions to deal with the influence of social media in character formation by using platforms that are familiar to students to deliver character education and then providing students with an understanding of how to use social media wisely.

Abstract

Rapid growth in the Information Technology (IT) industry has created an abundance of career opportunities, but job seekers often face difficulty in finding jobs that match their background and skills. To overcome this challenge, this research presents a “Job Recommendation System” that focuses on the IT industry. The method used in this research is "Content-Based Filtering," which allows the system to recommend jobs based on similarities between the skills possessed by the user and the available job descriptions. The system allows users to enter their skills, and based on these skills, analyzes the description jobs to recommend suitable jobs. Apart from providing job recommendations, this method also helps users to identify skill areas that need improvement. The research results show that the content-based filtering method is a powerful approach for providing relevant and effective job recommendations in the IT industry. This method provides great benefits to job seekers, helping them find job opportunities that suit their background and skills. In addition, this method has the potential to be applied in various applications in various industries.

Abstract

Motion graphics are an important component in a company called ERP Indonesia, because it has a company marketing strategy in the modern digital era, ERP is a company that operates in the field of consulting services regarding Branding (Brand Consultant) (Eka Reka Palakerti) is already engaged in the field of Brand Consultancy since November 30 2019 in Semarang and Tangerang, has an Instagram account which is used as a medium for promoting its services, and in this content uses animated videos based on motion graphics. ERP has increased visual appeal in marketing, increased consumer engagement, and optimized the efficiency of message communication via social media.

This visual identity includes a logo that not only reflects the core values of the company but also highlights the uniqueness of the offered products, successfully capturing the attention of the target market. Abstract

The aim of the author in conducting this research is to analyze and study the positioning or market position of Pepsodent, Ciptadent and Close up brand toothpaste products based on consumer perceptions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study method. In general, Pepsodent, Ciptadent and Close-up toothpastes have the main characteristics of their contents. Pepsodent is the superior choice in terms of packaging size, while Ciptadent stands out in the attributes of taste, color, content, product design and packaging design. Close Up has similarities in terms of packaging attributes to Pepsodent

Abstract

This research uses a library research method with a library research approach. This research was designed to identify the strategies implemented by Go-Jek, the impact of implementing CRM, obstacles in implementing CRM, and solutions to overcome these obstacles. Gojek CRM is a company that has many enthusiasts and customers. This land transportation company operating in the service sector utilizes developments in information technology to market the service products it produces. CRM allows businesses to better understand what their customers need and want, preventing them from switching to other companies in today's digital era.
