Abstract

Problems that are often encountered in hospital outpatient care units are ups and downs of intention patient to visit again, this is caused by the poor quality of services in outpatient units that can indirectly interfere with the level of patient satisfaction with these services and ultimately affect the intention patient to visit again. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the quality of care for the intention patient to visit again with patient satisfaction as an intervening variable in the outpatient service unit. This study uses a quantitative approach, survey method and causative technique type testing hypotheses with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques with a sample of 178 respondents. The results showed that the quality of care significantly affected the intention to revisit patients. It was also evaluated with patient satisfaction also significantly affecting intention patient to visit again. These results can be the basis for hospital management in improving the quality of services to achieve high patient satisfaction and intention patient to visit again. Abstract

People who don't feel sick are not necessarily healthy. The act of preventing or treating a disease before it becomes severe will also be easier and cheaper. This is where the main benefits of doing Medical Check Up (MCU), to detect health problems as early as possible and provide information needed for further treatment. This research aims to analyze the effect of the marketing strategy plan and the brand image of Permata Keluarga Hospital on the loyalty of PT employees participating in medical check-up (MCU) with employee trust as an intervening variable. The design of this research is Explanatory Research (Explanatory Research) with a sample of 220 employees from PT who have done MCU examination at Permata Keluarga Hospital 2x. Marketing strategy and brand image are independent variables. Patient trust is the intervening variable and employee loyalty is the dependent variable. This study uses a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Testing data analysis using SEM-AMOS. The results showed that marketing strategy had a positive and significant effect on brand image. The marketing strategy has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. The marketing strategy has a positive and significant effect on trust. Brand image has no significant effect on loyalty. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on trust, trust has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. And the marketing strategy and brand image of Permata Keluarga Hospital influences loyalty which is mediated by the trust of the employees of PT participants of medical check-up (MCU). Abstract

Low implementation of Accreditation standards on post-accreditation hospitals which can caused the revocation of hospital accreditation status. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of supervision and motivation on post-accreditation employee commitment with employee satisfaction as an intervening variable. The research uses quantitative research methods with survei methods using questionnaires and method of analysis using Structural Equation Model (SEM), Amos version 23. The results showed the supervision variable had a positive effect on post-accreditation employee commitment but had a negative effect on job satisfaction. Employee motivation has a positive effect on job satisfaction, but it has a negative effect on post-accreditation employee commitment, while job satisfaction has a positive effect on postaccreditation employee commitment. Study findings that job satisfaction can not be an intermediate variable between supervision with post-accreditation employee commitment. While the effect of work motivation on post-accreditation employee commitment can be mediated by job satisfaction. To increase post-accreditation employee commitment can be done by increasing work motivation through job satisfaction by growing employee dedication and integrity.Keywords: supervision, work motivation, post-accreditation employee commitment, job satisfaction

Abstract

Issues of financial performance that are not in accordance with the budget will affect the investment activities for the rejuvenation of new medical devices. In addition, the intense competition in health services business today can threaten the survival of hospitals if the financial performance of hospitals continues to decrease because it does not compatible with the budgets. The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence that there is a simultaneous process of the influence of budgetary participation, organizational commitment, and budgetary slack, on Financial Performance. The research design used is quantitative with the type of hypothesis testing. This type of research is causality. The unit of analysis is all employees. The time horizon is a one-shot study. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and samples that have been collected around 122 questionnaires through sampling technique is saturated sampling. By using AMOS software, it can be concluded that Budget Participation, Organizational Commitment and Budget Slack has a positive and significant effect on Financial Performance. Budget Participation has a significant negative effect on Budget Slack, Organizational Commitment has no significant negative effect on Budget Slack, budget participation has a significant positive effect on financial performance, organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on financial performance, and budget slack has a significant positive effect on financial performance. The research findings show that there is a Budget Slack caused by manipulative behavior with low integrity so that hospital financial performance is not achieved. Abstract

Patient safety with clinical governance and efficiency were important in ensuring the quality of health services. Based on the incidence report, data on the incidence of falling patients, medication errors, and patient identification errors were obtained. Where all of these incidents occurred in the inpatient room. The purpose of this study will prove the influence of the mentoring function on the safety of inpatients in Medika Lestari hospital. This research is an explanatory causality research with a quantitative approach in the form of hypothesis testing, and taking research data at a certain time (cross sectional). Samples were obtained by sampling saturated with a population of 30 people. Data collection was done by survey. Data analysis was performed by multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicates the positive influence of career support, psychosocial support, and role modeling factors from the head of inpatient room together on patient safety, significantly positive influence of career support factors on patient safety, significantly positive influence of psychosocial support factors on patient safety, and the significant negative effect of role modeling on patient safety. The findings of this study indicates that the most influential variable on the safety of inpatients at Medika Lestari Hospital is the career support variable from the head of inpatient the room. Based on this research it is recommended that hospital is going to provide career support to employees to improve patient safety by providing incentives, promotions, and funding for seminars or training.Keywords: patient safety, head room mentoring, career support, psychosocial support, and role modeling

Abstract

An organization must have good performance to remain in existence and excel in the competition. Performance is an indicator of the pros and cons of management decisions in decision making. A good performance can help an organization to gain profit, and vice versa if the performance falls then it can harm the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and workload on employee performance at RSIA X Cikupa with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This type of research is quantitative research, the method used is a survey with quantitative methods through weighting at intervals. The number of samples in this study were 83 people. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. The analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study are that there is a positive and significant effect between motivation and job satisfaction, there is a positive and significant effect between workload and job satisfaction, there is a positive and significant effect between job satisfaction and performance. And motivation and workload simultaneously or simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance variables at RSIA X Cikupa. The dominant variable is motivation. Abstract

The high issue of incident report in 2018 in X Hospital was particulary related with the patient’s identification and effective communication which focuses on reporting laboratory critical value can inhibit the follow-up treatment and patient safety. This research aims to provide empirical evidenve of the effect of patient’s identification and effective communication of patient safety through the quality of hospital services. The research method used quantitative analytical method with causality research design. Analysis unit is inpatient unit in X hospital. Data analysis being used is multinomial logistic analysis and multiple regression. The results of this research showed that patient’s identification and effective communication also the quality of hospital services were significantly affected patient safety. The findings of this research is patient’s identification had positive affected and significant on patient safety and quality of hospital services. Effective communicatioan which focuses on reporting laboratory critical value not affected on patient safety and quality of hospital services. Quality of hospital services not mediate patient safety cause patient’s identification and effective communication influence directly on patient safety.Keywords: safety, identification, effective communication, quality of services

Abstract

This study examines the issue that contingency behavior does not yet have a comprehensive theoretical and empirical study in the institutional relationship between management control systems and hospital organization performance in a situational perspective in the application of good hospital governance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the significant influence together between environmental uncertainty, information technology, and hospital management control systems on hospital organizational performance. This research uses survey research methods with an explanatory approach to causality research. The unit of analysis is medical and non-medical employees of Aini Eye Hospital Prof. Isak Salim. Time horizon uses cross section. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. This study uses Path Analysis, the number of samples collected was 88 samples. The results showed that there was a significant simultaneous influence between environmental uncertainty, information technology, and hospital management control systems on organizational performance; there is a positive influence of environmental uncertainty on the Management Control System; there is a positive influence of information technology on Hospital Management Control Systems; there is a positive influence of the Management Control System on Hospital Organizational Performance; there is a positive influence of Environmental Uncertainty on Hospital Organizational Performance; and there is a positive influence of Information Technology on Organizational Performance. The research findings are that the hospital carries out a budget preparation process with an optimistic approach in determining organizational targets. So that the hospital is able to perform efficiency performance, although it does not produce effective performance, hospital sustainability in its operational activities.Keyword: environmental uncertainty, information technology, management control systems, organizational performance of hospitals

Abstract

The issue of achieving optimal employee performance in a hospital is related to achieving comprehensive hospital performance targets. This is important as a signal to hospitals if they want sustainability so that employee performance must continue to be good. Thus, professional management needs support in mentoring activities, to increase employee motivation and career development in order to produce good nurse performance. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of the functions of mentoring, motivation and career development on nurse performance in health institution This study uses a survey research method with an explanatory approach to causality research. The unit of analysis is nurse. Time horizon uses cross section. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. This study uses Path Analysis, the number of samples successfully collected was 48. Data analysis using path analysis with statistical analysis. The results showed that the functions of mentoring, motivation and career development jointly influenced the performance of hospital nurses; the mentoring function has a significant positive effect on nurse motivation variables; the mentoring function does not have a significant positive effect on nurse career development variables; the mentoring function has a significant positive effect on nurse performance variables; career development has a significant positive effect on nurse performance variables; and nurse motivation has a significant positive effect on nurse performance variables. Research findings are that hospital nurses have a high internal or intrinsic drive to make themselves have high expertise, high competence, experience, skills and high skills through training in order to meet professional qualification standards according to expertise and competence. Abstract

Background. An analysis of the revenue and expenditure carried out by elements involved in the implementation of measures such as doctors, management, nurses and patients is essential dilakukan.karena closely related to the sustainability of the hospital. Cardiac catheterization as a primary modality of treatment of coronary heart disease is very dense high technology with huge costs but will also be featured in the improvement of hospital services revenue. Values have been known to affect the perception of customer satisfaction. This study will examine the perceptions of physicians, management, nurses and patients to cardiac catheterization action in the form of stent gradually. This study will provide an overview and to assess how the cost benefit of the process of action stent gradually in terms of four components involved in the implementation so that the hospital can take decisions or policies relating to the election act gradually or action once the stent on the implementation of patients with coronary heart disease.. Descriptive and comparative analysis between the perceptions of physicians, management, nurses and patients against indicators of questions given to responden.The results descriptive analysis is expected to explain the perception of respondents, the next test average difference with manwithney test to see whether there are differences in the perception of all four components to the actions of cardiac catheterization in the review of the costs and benefits. Perception data in the form of primary data obtained through usage survey to solicit opinions and attitudes opinion of respondents to the implementation of measures of cardiac catheterization and stent. There are very significant differences between the perceptions of the benefits and cost by Mann Whitney test results. Show that in general 50 respondents composed of physicians, management, nurses and patients perceive that the action gradually more profitable in terms of both product benefits, service benefits, personnel benefits and image benefits from the perception of loss of money, time, energy and psychological. Contradicted by the findings of data that patients who continued follow-up only around 10% Keyword: Produck benefit, service benenfit, personnel benefits, image monetary benefit cost, time cost, energy cost, psychological cost.
