Where the research was conducted in Puskemas Tiumang, Dharmasraya. Data were collected using a questionnaire then processed by SPSS software. The result of the study is presented in the form of distribution frequency and chi-square test. Result: The study showed that almost half of 42 respondent were knowledgeable (44.7%), negative (45.7%), and the lowest (3.2%) in no act category. Furthermore, almost half is supported by negative family (30.9%). Samples was taken by consecutive sampling to 38 preceptees and 38 preceptors. The data was taken by checklist instrument. The data processing used univariate and bivariate within chi-square. The results showed that 20 (52.6%) preceptors were good in preceptor ship implementations and 18 (47.6%) preceptors were less good. While that the competency of student’s achievement results showed that amount 21 (53.3%) were achieved and amount 17 (44.7%) were half achieved. Abstract

Background and Purpose:  The condition that a person experiences stress can affect the function of various organ systems of the body, especially the cardiovascular system. Manifestations of prolonged stress can turn into anxiety. This study aims to determine differences in temperature distribution in the face of students who experience anxiety facing the OSCE.Method: This research method using pre-experimental design where samples are experiencing anxiety seen temperature distribution in the face area by using thermal imaging. The sample was selected using total sampling technique in which as many as 81 students were undergoing tests OSCE is used as a sample in this study. The instrument used to measure the level of anxiety is the GAD 7, consists of seven items given questions prior to the measurement of temperature using thermal imaging. Results: The results obtained are subjected to mild anxiety as much as 49 respondents where the frontal head temperature measurement that 23 people was febrile, 22 people was normal and 4 people was hypothermia. While the results of the temporal head measurement that 27 people was febrile, 20 people was normal, and 2 people was hypothermia. Conclusion   and   recommendation:  There is a difference in temperature at each level of anxiety as measured by the temperature of the temporal and frontal. Therefore, it needs to be investigated further there a change in temperature by measuring themal imaging, after the addition of interventions for coping with anxiety.

Objective: This study aims to enhance critical thinking competence among nursing students in the intership program, medical surgical cycle. Method: The design of this study was a quasi experiment with one group pre and post test. The Mind Mapping method was given before the participants started their medical surgical clinical cycle. The guidance to develop the mind mapping (coaching) was given for approximately 60 minutes every week, for a total of 5 weeks clinical practice. The level of critical thinking competence was measured using Critical Thinking Disposition Self-Rating Form (CTDSR) which contains of 20 statements with dicotomous response. Wilcoxon Match Paired Test was used to analyse the data. Result: There 23 students enrolled in this study. Those participants were from 3 different groups. The coaching program was conducted from June-September 2016. The GPA of the respondents was above 3.0. The analysis result showed that the mean rank of post test was significantly higher than the mean rank of the pretest (Z=-2.034, P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical learning as well as coaching in the internship program using Mind Mapping  method is strongly suggested. This method will enhance the critical thinking competence among students in taking care of their patients.Key words: Mind Mapping case, Critical Thinking
