Neologia: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia
NEOLOGIA: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia is a peer-reviewed scientific open access journal, with e-ISSN 2829-9612 and p-ISSN 2087-2496. It has been published by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature, Faculty of Language and Literature, Universitas Negeri Makassar. NEOLOGIA is published since 2010. NEOLOGIA is issued semiannually: in February and Auguts. NEOLOGIA publishes manuscripts on research in linguistics and literature. NEOLOGIA features research novelties and significance for scientific advancement in one of the fields of the published manuscripts. This journal welcomes submissions from around the world as well as from Indonesia. Manuscripts published include but are not limited to the following. Linguistics; phonology, morphology, syntax, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and critical discourse analysis. Literature: local literature studies, Indonesian literature, foreign literature studies, children literature, literature studies for character education, and other literary studies. The editorial board would like to receive manuscripts submitted via the online submission system. Make sure that the manuscripts meet the scope and submission guidelines of the journal. <![CDATA[Cultural Aspects in the Novel Ulid by Mahfud Ikhwan, a Review of Jean Francois Lyotard Postmodernism. This study aims to describe the cultural aspects of Mahfud Ikhwan's novel Ulid. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of research in the novel Ulid by Mahfud Ikhwan show that there are various situations that describe postmodernist behavior which is more dominated by the nature of irony found in situations such as natural disasters, the economy and things that are contrary to feelings. The next aspect is Camp's behavior which is described in the form of deception of appearance, attitude, objects and characteristics. Pastiche is expressed through situations related to the character's behavior and expectations in the past. Eclecticism is depicted in the form of a combination of objects, language and food. The parody aspect is expressed in the form of an expression of feelings of satisfaction, displeasure and discomfort.]]>

<![CDATA[Forms of Phonological Changes in Communicating Via Whatsapp Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar Students. This study aims to describe the form of phoneme changes, addition of phonemes, and omission of phonemes for students of the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, especially the 2017 Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program when communicating via WhatsApp. This research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the form of phonological changes that occurred included: phoneme changes (a) vowel phoneme /ai/ to /e/. (b) the phoneme /u/ becomes /o/. Error adding phonemes (a) adding phonemes /g/.(b) addition of the phoneme /t/. (c) addition of the phoneme /h/. Phoneme omission error (a) omission of phoneme /h/. (b) omission of the vowel phoneme /a/.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrack: Descriptions of Poverty in Yorick's novel by Kirana Kejora. Thepurpose of this study is describe the author's social context, literature as a mirrorof society, and literary social function contained in Kirana Kejora's Yorick novel.The approach used is Ian Watt's literary sociology approach. The design of thisresearch is descriptive qualitative. Data collection by the technique of reading andrecording objects to be studied. The results showed the author's social contextcreates literary works based on the reality that occurs around him between anauthor and a Yorick figure. The picture of poverty contained in Yorick's novel isYorick's inability to attend school and Yorick's character who lives in an old hutwith Encum's grandmother. The social function in Yorick's novel teaches thereader about the resilience of a young boy facing an economically disadvantagedlife.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Aporia Elements in Arifin C. Noer's Mega-Mega Drama Script (An Approach to Jacques Derrida's Deconstruction). This study aims to reveal the elements of aporia contained in the play Mega-Mega by Arifin C. Noer. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that there is a reversal of the domination of the characters in the text which is influenced by four forms of binary opposition reading, namely character, attitude, story, and status. The characters of the two different characters, namely Mae and Retno in the drama script, which include affection and selfishness are reversed by identifying the element of aporia. In conclusion, reading the meaning of the paradox or element of aporia in a text proves the opposite fact from what is built in the play's script.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Social Context in the Oral Literature Text of Angngaru (Sociology of Literature Ian Watt). The study is the study of the text in Angngaru oral literature by using sociology of literature Ian watt as a scalpel. The aim of this study is to describe literature as a reflection of the social life of people in the oral literature text of Angngaru. The method in this study is qualitative descriptive. The data in this study is words, sentences, phrases found in the angtext. The data-gathering techniques in this study are reading and annotating techniques. The study involves identifying, decrypting, and analyzing literary texts that are viewed as reflecting public condition.Analysis shows that a number of oral literature texts of angngaru illustrate the courage and faithfulness of Kings and soldiers who could reflect the lives of gowa people in ancient times.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap implikatur percakapan dalam tuturan tokoh-tokoh Summer Miracle Karya Seok Woo dan kuantitas jenis implikatur percakapan sesuai dengan klasifikasi Yule yang muncul dalam tuturan tokoh-tokoh Summer Miracle Karya Seok Woo. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada implikatur percakapan berdasarkan pembagian Yule yakni implikatur percakapan umum, implikatur berskala, dan implikatur percakapan khusus. Data penelitian ini yakni percakapan para tokoh yang terdapat dalam serial Webtoon, baik berupa dialog tokoh ataupun monolog tokoh yang bentuk percakapannya telah dalam bentuk tertulis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yakni serial Webtoon yang bergenre roman dengan judul Summer Miracle dari aplikasi Webtoon yang merupakan layanan LINE. Teknik analisis data dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yakni terdapat implikatur percakapan khusus paling sering digunakan oleh petutur, kemudian implikatur percakapan umum, dan implikatur percakapan berskala.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak: Penelitian berfokus pada salah satu cabang linguistik yaitu morfologi atau ilmu yang mempelajari pembentukan kata. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tenik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga jenis reduplikasi pada puisi Mengeja Ingatan Berarti Menerjemahkan Rindu karya Rsotan Yuniardi yang berjumlah 10 kata, yaitu reduplikasi seluruh yang berjumlah 5 kata, reduplikasi sebagian berjumlah 3 kata dan reduplikasi perubahan fonem yang juga berjumlah 2 kata. Bentuk dasar yang mengalamani proses moroflogi reduplikasi seluruh yaitu; jarum-jarum, celah-celah, kapal-kapal dan sebagainya. Bentuk dasar yang mengalami proses morfologi sebagian yaitu; bentuk dasar yang mengalami proses pengulangan bunyi pada suku awal kata dan mengalami pelemahan bunyi. <![CDATA[This study aims to formulate construction of subjectivity that presented in the novel Gentayangan written by Intan Paramaditha. An analysis to the representation of the major components of subjectivity, such as the World, the Self and the Other is the mainstay of this process. Using the method of qualitative and descriptive analysis, and theoretical concepts on travel literature, subjectivity, and nomadic subject, this study concludes that the work has represented the subjectivity of nomadic woman; who is floating in the World, transcending the boundaries between the Self and the Other, and is between the desire to roam freely and to return home.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the formation of derivation and inflection words in Indonesian. There needs to be concrete evidence to know both, such as news in newspapers, magazines and other readings. This is because the processes of derivation and inflection will be understood in reading form, not just theory. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using reading and note techniques. As for the object of research is the process of derivation and inflection, while the subject of the research is news on social media, especially Instagram randomly. The results of the study found that the news on Instagram social media found several words that underwent a process of derivation and inflection.]]>

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: (1) Untuk mengetahui apa saja jenis-jenis proses morfofonemik afiksasi yang terdapat dalam berita skandal buron istimewa. (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk-bentuk proses morfofonemik afiksasi dalam berita skandal buron istimewa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Fokus penelitian adalah jenis penilaian proses, jenis proses morfofonemik afiksasi dan bentuk proses morfofonemik afiksasi dalam berita skandal buron istimewa. Desain penelitian deskriptif dengan analisis konten. Data penelitian bersumber dari berita harian kompas.com yang berjudul “Istimewanya Djoko Tjandra Sejak Berstatus Buron, hingga Dapat Potongan dan Remisi”. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian, yaitu: Melakukan pembacaan dan Melakukan pencatatan terkait data yang termasuk dalam kategori yang dibutuhkan. Instrumen utama penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri.
