Abstract

This article discusses the results of research on the application of sub-functions in economic mathematics to the demand and supply functions. The demand and supply functions are one of the basics of economics which is simplified into a mathematical economic model by selecting two economic variables, namely the variable price and the variable quantity of goods demanded by consumers or offered by producers. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with research subjects being class X IPS students of Imelda Private High School. this research aims to find out the mistakes of class X IPS students in working on questions of the demand function, supply function and market equilibrium. The market is said to be balanced if: The number of goods demanded in the market is equal to the number of goods supplied. The price of goods offered by sellers (producers) is equal to the price demanded by buyers (consumers).

Abstract

This journal discusses the impact of Indonesia's cancellation as the host of the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2023 on the Indonesian economy. The analysis reveals that the cancellation has had negative effects on various economic sectors, including investment, tourism, and infrastructure. Investments have decreased, economic growth has been hindered, and job opportunities have been reduced. Additionally, infrastructure projects have been left unfinished, resulting in wastage of resources. In conclusion, effective economic recovery measures are needed, such as diversifying the economy and developing alternative tourism options.

Abstract

Usually on major holidays including the month of Ramadan, the price of chilies increases. However, in the month of Ramadan 2023, chili prices have decreased. The highest peak in the last month was IDR 46,774 on the first day of Ramadhan and after that it decreased, and the lowest price reached IDR 37,609. Meanwhile, cayenne pepper decreased from IDR 56,491 to IDR 42,353. This study aims to analyze the effect of chili prices on market demand in the month of Ramadan and look at the demand curve from the data. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection in this study was by using secondary time series data originating from the Ministry of Agriculture and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). Data processing in research is by using the average formula and presentation to see the market demand curve. From this study, it can also be concluded that the average red chili and cayenne pepper have decreased since the beginning of this month of Ramadan.

Abstract

This journal aims to analyze the increase in City Transportation (Angkot) fares in North Sumatra in 2023. In recent years, public transportation fares in the region have experienced significant changes. This research was conducted to understand the factors that influence the increase in public transportation fares and their impact on public transportation users in North Sumatra. The method used in this study includes primary and secondary data collection, as well as descriptive statistical analysis to analyze changes in public transportation fares.

Abstract

Good communication will create a harmonious working atmosphere and can reduce conflicts between employees so that the company will create morale that improves employee performance for the better. If communication is not well established, there will be a problem between employees. The method used in this research is a literature study. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of business communication in improving the performance of Camille Beauty employees. The method used in this research is a literature study. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of business communication in improving the performance of Camille Beauty employees. The results of this study show that the implementation of Camille Beauty's communication role has succeeded in improving employee performance. For Camille Beauty, the role of business communication is a communication role that includes various stages of continuous, variable, and nonstop communication within the framework of delivering messages. Since the messages sent and received have an influence on each other, communication is the opposite process. In order to improve good employee performance, Ambassador employees at Camille Beauty must be aware of and able to implement the Guest Service Cycle (GSC) as an operational standard for the employee service cycle. At Camille Beauty, employee performance refers to the quality and quantity of work performed by an employee in accordance with the responsibilities given a real achievement. In this case, researchers focused more on the quality of the results produced by Camille Beauty employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profits of banana fruit traders who sell in the MMTC traditional market, Medan Tembung sub-district, Medan city. Time of research implementation in May 2023. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from 5 respondents (banana traders) who were interviewed for this study. Here the analysis is used is the profit analysis of banana traders. The results of the study show that the total acceptance of banana fruit traders in MMTC traditional markets Medan city. Banana sellers spend an initial capital of IDR 25,000,000 for one banana truck and get an average profit of IDR 10,000,000.
