Al-Khazini: Journal of Physical Education is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (March and September) by the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar. Al-Khazini: Journal of Physics Education is an integrated forum to communicate the progress of science in the field of physics education. This journal reports significant new findings related to physics education; development of instructional media, development of learning methods, application of learning methods,and several applications of media in physics learning. Al-Khazini: Journal of Physical Education publishes comprehensive research articles and invites reviews from leading experts in their fields. Papers will be selected that have high scientific value, provide important new knowledge, and have high interest. Al-Khazini: The Indonesian Journal of Physics Education was only formed in 2021.

Abstract

Abstrack. The emergence of a pandemic outbreak in 2020 forced us to carry out social activities. Included in face-to-face at school so that learning must be held boldly. One application that can be used in bold learning is Google Classroom using a blended learning approach. The advantage of the Google Classroom application compared to other applications is that the Google Classroom application can be used to create and manage classes, assignments, and can provide direct input. The formulation of the research problem is whether there is an increase in science learning outcomes for natural disasters and disaster mitigation with a blended learning approach through Google Classroom students of class X Accounting and Finance Institution 2 SMK Negeri 1 Tarakan. The aim of the research is to improve learning outcomes of natural disaster and disaster mitigation science learning with a blended learning approach through google classroom for students of class X Accounting and Finance Institution 2 SMK Negeri 1 Tarakan. This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) with four activities, namely action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The reason for choosing CAR is because it can improve teacher performance so that they become professional. Data collection techniques were carried out by giving tests to students and observing the activities of teachers and students carried out by an observer. Based on the results of the study, the classical average of students' learning mastery in Cycle I was 73.24 and in Cycle II it increased to 83.24, as well as observing student activities that increased and all aspects were categorized very well. From the results of this study, learning science on disaster and natural disaster mitigation materials with a blended learning approach in the Google Classroom application can improve the learning outcomes of students in class X Accounting and Finance Institution 2 SMK Negeri I Tarakan. Abstract

This research is a development research (research and development) where what is desired is a valid assessment instrument and is suitable for use. The research aims to (1) To analyze the results of the development of cognitive assessment instruments for the practicum of Basic Physics Experiment I on students majoring in Physics Education UIN Alauddin Makassar theoretically and empirically. The development of assessment instruments refers to the design of the development of test instruments according to Kaharuddin Arafah which consists of 7 development steps, namely: (1) Determining the measuring scale, measuring targets and construction of measuring instruments, (2) Measuring instruments for construction results, (3) Validation of contents, (4) Temporary measuring instruments, (5) Measuring targets of trial respondents, (6) Reliability, and (7) Ready-made measuring instruments. This research was tested in the department of Physics Education in the first semester of the Class of 2021/2022 UIN Alauddin Makassar. The results of the study obtained by the Basic Physics I practicum assessment instrument theoretically produced as many as 51 question items with a reliability of 0.88 in the valid category. Meanwhile, empirically produced 48 items with the reliability of 78% of the practicum cognitive assessment instruments and their assessment rubrics meeting the reliability criteria based on trials. The results of the study obtained a practicum assessment instrument product that has been declared valid and reliable and is suitable for use as a standard assessment instrument in the Department of Physics Education UIN Alauddin Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and creative thinking of student’s learning throught online learning during the Covid-19 era in physics lessons at SMA Advent Manokwari. The research method used is the survey method using a questionnaire. The sampling technique is using purposive sampling with a sample 79 studens. The instrument used is an effectiveness questionnaire as many as 15 statements and a creative thinking questionnaire as many as 15 statements with data analysis technique using the Rasch Model with the help of the Winstep Application. The results of the analysis show that for learning effectiveness the Crombach Alpha value 0,82, while using Wright map the distribution of respondents generally gathers between logit SD (+0,00) to logit SD (+2,00) and above logit SD (-0,20) this means that many students are interested in taking physics lessons online and consider it good or effective. Meanwhile, for creative thinking, the Crombach Alpha value is 0,76, also using the Wright map the distribution of respondents generally gathers berween the logit SD (+0,00) the logit SD (+3,00) and above the logit SD (-0,30). This means that many students have a high enough creative way of thinking. This shows that online physics lessons at the SMA Advent Manokwari can be said to be good and the student’s creative thinking level is high.

Abstract

A test tool is said to be good if the test is valid, reliable, not too easy or too difficult and has different power. If the test items are not analyzed, the question given is not yet known about the condition of the question, it could be that the question is not suitable for use in the exam. The objectives of this research are 1) To analyze the validity of the final exam questions for the even semester science subjects for the 2019/2020 academic year. 2) To analyze the reliability of the final exam questions for even semesters of science subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Beutong. 3) To analyze the level of difficulty of the final exam questions for even semesters of science subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Beutong. 4) To analyze the discriminating power of even semester final exam questions for science subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Beutong. The research method in this study is to use quantitative methods with anates analysis version 4.0. The results of the study were obtained 1) based on data analysis of description questions in class IX of SMP Negeri 2 Beutong it was declared 100% valid or all questions were said to be valid, 2) reliability of descriptions could be said to be reliable at the level of reliability from even semester exam questions in class IX of SMP Negeri 2 Beutong 100% very high reliability, 3) The level of difficulty of the even semester exam descriptions for class IX, has a moderate level of difficulty criteria, there are 6 questions, 2 questions easy criteria and 2 questions very easy criteria. 4) The level of discriminating power of even semester exam descriptions for class IX at SMP Negeri 2 Beutong with the criteria of not discriminating between 2 questions, distinguishing there are 2 questions and very different 6 items.

Abstract

The ability to memorize has an important role in the educational process, because the ability to memorize formulas students can remember what has been learned in physics lessons which many formulas in memorizing memory are needed, low memory interferes with students in learning, especially in physics subjects that require students to master the formulas of physics subjects that have many formulas. This research model is an experiment using one class with two trials, the first meeting using the lecture method and then being tested, then using the mnemonic method and then being tested, the number of samples is 27 students. variable x in this study is the mnemonic method and variable y is the ability to memorize physics formulas. This research design uses the Equivalent Time – Samples Design where the ability to memorize physics formulas is seen from the initial test and the second test using different methods, namely the lecture method and Mnemonic. There are 10 number of questions that are used as initial test questions in the lecture method and 10 questions on the Mnemonic method and all questions are valid. The reliability value obtained is 0.95, it shows a high reliability value. The average value using the lecture method is 46.67 with a standard deviation of 16, 17 and the Mnemonic method 90.74 with a standard deviation of 8.28. Based on non-parametric statistical hypothesis testing, obtained by the lecture method and the Mnemonic method, namely 6.2. These results show that students' ability to memorize physics formulas after being taught by the Mnemonic method is better than the lecture method.

Abstract

Generic learning of physics science students taught using generative learning models, learning generic science skills of students physics taught without using generative learning models, learning the effectiveness of using generative learning models in increasing generic physics science assistance. This type of research used in this study is a quasi-experimental type of research with the research design The Matching only post Test Group Design. The population of this research is all students of class X TKJ. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling.The results shows that the generic science skills of students in class X TKJ show that the average value of the experimental class (X TKJ 2) is 75.80. As for the control class the average value obtained was 72.52. The results of hypothesis testing using independent sample T-2 test obtained t count = 1.34 and t table = 2.00. As a result it can be seen that t count <t table, so it can be concluded that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. Thus, there is no influence between the class being taught using generative learning models and the classes being taught without using the generative learning model. This means that the generative learning model is not effectively used in class X TKJ

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student ability to complete the professional competency test in the Department of Physics Education at UIN Aladdin Makassar for final year students of Class of 2018. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling, namely by taking samples based on students who come to take the competency test. The instrument used in this study is the professional competency test instrument. The type of research used in this study is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the ability to complete the professional competency test for students of the Department of Physics Education at UIN Alauddin Makassar at the end of the 2018 class was in the low category with an average score of 25.13.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students in SMAN 1 Jeneponto class on electromagnetic induction material not using the animated film Dr. Stone, to find out the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMAN 1 Jeneponto on electromagnetic induction materials using Dr. animated film as learning media. Stone, to find out the difference in the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMAN 1 Jeneponto on electromagnetic induction material, not using and using Dr. animation media. Stone, and to find out the animated film-based learning media, Dr. Stone is effective on the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMAN 1 Jeneponto on electromagnetic induction material. The type of research used is quasi-experimental. The research design used is the Noneequivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of class XII MIPA SMAN 1 Jeneponto. Sampling Research using Simple Random Sampling. The research sample used was 25 people in the experimental class and 25 people in the control class. The results showed that: 1) the learning outcomes of students in SMAN 1 Jeneponto class on electromagnetic induction material did not use the animated film Dr. Stone is mostly in the category of good learning outcomes with an average value of 59.4. 2) the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMAN 1 Jeneponto on electromagnetic induction materials using Dr. animated film as learning media. Stone is mostly in the category of good learning outcomes with an average score of 79.8. 3) Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there were differences in the learning outcomes of students who were not taught using Dr.Stone's animated film and those who were taught using Dr.Stone's animated film. 4) Learning media based on Dr. animation film. Stone is effective on student learning outcomes seen from the average N-Gain score in the experimental class of 0.72 which is included in the high category, while the average N-Gain score in the control class is 0.46 which is included in the medium category. . The implications of this study are: 1) the results of this study indicate that the implementation of physics learning using Dr.Stone's animated film-based learning media is effective on student learning outcomes so that it can be applied to further teaching activities. 2) For further researchers, the results of this study can be used as material for comparison, reference and challenges, especially those who want to conduct similar research so that students are more interested in participating in the learning process.
