Abstract

Fishing technology consists of fishing gear and auxiliary fishing gear which are implemented using various methods according to the objectives to be achieved. The application of fishing technology aims to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of fishing. One fishing technology is the use of artificial bait as an attractant to attract the attention of fish so that they can easily be caught and preyed on by pelagic fish. This service is carried out in Mamuju waters for the purpose of catching pelagic fish. The service was carried out using trolling fishing gear. The results of the service showed that the results obtained were skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis), krai tuna (Auxis thazard) and yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares). The largest catches were obtained from fishing ground in oceanic waters with water depths above 200 m.

Abstract

The aim of this research is: to find out whether there is effectiveness in using student worksheets with a problem solving approach on students' critical thinking skills in the mathematics subject of plane figures for class V State Elementary School 01 Sidomukti, Jenawi District, Academic Year 2023/2024. This research uses a comparative descriptive method. The subjects in this research were 20 fifth grade students at SD Negeri 01 Sidomukti. The research design used was one design pretest and posttest group. The data collection techniques used are documentation and tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques include normality test and t test. The research results showed that the students' average score on the pretest was 60.50 and on the posttest it was 78.85. This shows that there is a change in the mean during the pre-test and post-test. The results of the t test obtained a two tailed value of 0.000 < significant value (alpha: 0.05) so that it falls in the area of ​​rejection of Ho and acceptance of Ha. Therefore, the t test states that there is effectiveness in using student worksheets in the mathematics subject material on flat shapes for class V at SD Negeri 01 Sidomukti, Jenawi District, Academic Year 2023/2024

Abstract

Manajemen merupakan hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam sebuah organisasi termasuk organisasi olahraga atau sering dikenal sebagai klub. Dalam setiap kegiatan didalam klub, harus dikelola dengan baik sesuai dengan fungsi dan peran agar setiap rencana dapat berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan yang akan dicapai sebuah klub olahraga. Peranan manajemen olahraga dan pengelolaannya sangatlah penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan pelatihan keolahragaan. Eksistensi dan kualitas sebuah klub dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, diantaranya adalah pelatih, sarana prasarana pendukung kegiatan olahraga, tujuan dan motivasi klub, cara melatih, pendanaan, partisipasi personel dalam memahami tugas dan kewajibannya, serta dukungan dari berbagai pihak. Hal tersebut mendorong perlunya manajemen dan pemilihan strategi pembinaan dalam klub olahraga untuk melihat dan mengevaluasi perkembangan sebuah klub. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan pengurus tentang pengendalian organisasi, pengeloaan klub, manajemen kepelatihan, penganggaran penggunaan dan pelaporan aset klub olahraga. Target yang ingin dicapai dalam Pengabdian kepada Masyrakat ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan pengerus organisasi dalam mengelola dan mengendalikan dan memanjemen sebuah klub renang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu: pelaksanaan kegiatan yang meliputi pelatihan pengendalian organisasi, pengeloaan klub, manajemen kepelatihan, penganggaran penggunaan dan pelaporan aset klub olahraga. Hasil Kegiatan adalah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan yang didapatkan oleh pengurus dan pelatih tetang pengendalian organisasi pengelolaan klub renang, meliputi Manajemen Organisasi, Manajmen Kepelatihan dan Manajemen Penggunaan Aset.

Abstract

Desa Ulunese memiliki potensi geowisata air terjun yang perlu dikembangkan. Di Kawasan air terjun dijumpai sembilan geosite utama berupa morfologi air terjun bertipe undakan. Inventarisasi dan pemetaan sebaran geosite telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk merekomendasikan jalur geotrek wisata air terjun berdasarkan karakteristik geologi. Jalur geotrek mempertimbangkan elevasi, kemiringan lereng, dan landskap air terjun yang dikunjungi. Jalur geotrek sepanjang 3,5 km sepanjang selatan hingga utara sungai. Jalur berupa akses kendaraan bermotor dan sebagian besar merupakan jalur pejalan kaki. Semakin ke utara, jalur menjadi lebih ekstrim. Pada jalur geotrek, juga dibuat papan informasi geologi air terjun, papan penunjuk rute, dan pembuatan sarana prasarana seperti tempat parkir, kamar ganti, dan toilet. Analisis SWOT menunjukkan perlunya perbaikan akses jalan, jembatan, dan peningkatan nilai saintifik dan edukasi seluruh geosite.

Abstract

Medicines can interact with food or drink, chemicals or other drugs. Amlodipine is an antihypertensive that is often given with Simvastatin as an antihyperlipidemic. The interaction of amlodipine and simvastatin at a major level can cause an increase in simvastatin levels. The aim of this activity is to provide education about the use of amlodipine and simvastatin in Sekumpul Village, Martapura District. Health promotion will be carried out on Thursday, May 25 2023, at 10.00-13.00 WITA. The education was accompanied by the provision of leaflets containing the definition of interaction. The activity was attended by 21 participants from the elderly group who had used simvastatin, amlodipine or both. The activity ran well and smoothly and succeeded in increasing the participants' knowledge.

Abstract

PKM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan melatih  skil pada pemanfaatan produk kelapa agar bernilai ekonomi dengan strategi inovasi dan pemasaran digital pada produksi kelapa dalam bentuk pemnafaatan mulai dari batok, sabut, dan daging kelapa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dengan pendekatan kemitraan (Community based participatory research) melibatkan unsur semua lapisan anggota masyarakat, petani, dan tokoh masyarakat. adapun kegiatan pendampingan ini pertama bertambahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap potensi kelapa dapat di produksi dalam bentuk bermacam-macam seperti minyak VCO, sabut dan batok dapat di huat pupuk dan lain sebagainya. Kedua Strategi pemasaran menjadi lebih luas dengan adanya aplikasi marketing digital yag menjangkau ke seluruh pelosok negeribahkan dunia global

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic condition resulting from nutritional deficiencies that can lead to toddlers having a stature/height shorter than their age would typically indicate. The prevention of stunting can be achieved through the provision of education and the implementation of nutritional fulfillment for children based on the "Isi Piringku" principle. " Isi Piringku" is a component of the recommendations for a healthy diet by fulfilling balanced nutrition that considers the quantity and types of food, including staple foods, animal-based dishes, plant-based dishes, vegetables, and fruits. The target of this socialization is the parents of 60 students. This activity is conducted at Raudlatul Athfal Tanwirut Tulab in the village of Payung Makmur, Central Lampung. The implementation process consists of two stages: the first stage involves delivering a presentation on the " Isi Piringku " concept, and the second stage includes a demonstration/practical session of food plating in accordance with the principles of " Isi Piringku." The outcome of this activity is that participants comprehend the content presented during the discussion session in the socialization stage, as evidenced by their enthusiasm in asking questions related to the conveyed material. As well as understanding the material, as demonstrated by the presentation of menu plating results following the principles of " Isi Piringku " during the demonstration/practical stage. The practical results indicate that the food plating practice conducted by 47 parents (78.3%) was appropriate, while 13 parents (16.7%) did not follow the guidelines. The conclusion drawn is that parents are capable of understanding the implementation of " Isi Piringku " to prevent stunting

Abstract

This community service is carried out in the village of Doda, Central Sulawesi, which is a village inhabited by the majority of the Kaili da'a tribe and is a native tribe of the city of Palu. The residents of Kaili Da'a, Doda Village, live in the mountains of Palu City, which is quite far from the city center, so access to health services is also quite far. The people of the Kaili Da'a tribe like to use medicinal plants passed down from generation to generation from their tribe, but currently the lack of knowledge and interest of the community is decreasing in the cultivation of these medicinal plants even though the medicinal properties of their tribe are quite efficacious. The location of the village which is far from the city center allows them to have minimal access to medicines when emergencies occur. The method we apply is to re-empower these medicinal plants in the form of family medicinal plants which are planted in the yards of residents' houses with types of medicine including Sida rhombifolia, Ricinus communis, Jatropha curcas, Coleus atropurpureus, Andrographis paniculata and Alpinia galanga. The result is that these plants are very useful to help people when they need medicines during an emergency. In addition, we also provide explanations regarding the benefits of using these drugs to the public.

Abstract

Opportunities for the younger generation to work in government offices or companies are dwindling due to increasingly fierce competition in formal sector jobs. On the other hand, the younger generation does not want to become an entrepreneur and earn work and money independently. The aim of the Community Service (PKM) program is to prepare the productive young generation to become more motivated, have passion, strong character and profits in entrepreneurship. To achieve this goal, students at Al-Qudsy Cibatu Vocational School, Cibatu Regency, Garut Regency were given knowledge and motivation about entrepreneurship. The results of the activity showed that students had high interest and motivation for entrepreneurship, but students still felt confused and afraid to start. Apart from that, the role of support from school institutions and families is still minimal, so in developing young entrepreneurs all parties, including families, communities, educational institutions, and the government and private sectors must play a role.

Abstract

Degenerative disease is a condition that occurs due to a decrease in the function of a tissue or organ due to the aging process. It is not uncommon for elderly people to realize this disease only when the disease is already in a serious condition with complications, resulting in an increase in morbidity and mortality rates, as well as a decrease in the elderly's quality of life and a decrease in the elderly's ability to carry out daily activities. One of the early detections carried out is routine checks for three body conditions that can cause various degenerative diseases, namely, checking blood sugar levels, checking uric acid levels, checking cholesterol, and checking blood pressure. Early detection can be done by empowering cadres of PKK women in the environment around where the elderly live. The Baluwarti sub-district area is one of the areas in Surakarta that has elderly people with degenerative diseases. Because of this history, there is a need for control efforts from the government and private sector. One of the efforts is to empower PKK women cadres to carry out early detection of degenerative diseases. The method used in this activity is an educational approach and health examination. The results of the health examination obtained in this activity were elderly people with high blood sugar levels, namely 48.1%; uric acid levels above normal, namely 61.5%; cholesterol levels above normal, namely 53.8%; and high blood pressure, namely 55.8%. This shows that the majority of elderly people in the Baluwarti Village area suffer from degenerative diseases.
