Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kelayakan permainan Chem Quartet sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Sistem Periodik Unsur. Kelayakan tersebut ditinjau dari tiga kriteria yaitu kevalidan berdasar prosedur pengembangan media yang telah melalui tahap validasi oleh para validator, kepraktisan berdasar hasil lembar respon siswa yang ditunjang dengan observasi aktivitas siswa, dan keefektifan berdasar ketuntasan hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga fase yaitu preliminer, prototipe, dan asesmen. Uji coba dilakukan secara terbatas yaitu pada 12 siswa kelas X MIA-1 SMAN 1 Taman Sidoarjo dengan metode eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan Chem Quartet sangat layak sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Sistem Periodik Unsur. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan penilaian validasi isi dengan persentase 88,89% dan penilaian validasi konstruk dengan persentase 88,00%. Kepraktisan permainan Chem Quartet sebagai media pembelajaran memperoleh persentase rata-rata respon “Ya” sebesar 98,15% yang ditunjang dengan aktivitas siswa. Keefektifan permainan Chem Quartet sebagai media pembelajaran ditinjau dari ketuntasan belajar siswa diperoleh persentase pretest sebesar 16,67% dan persentase posttest sebesar 91,67%. Kata Kunci: Permainan Chem Quartet, pengembangan media pembelajaran, Sistem Periodik Unsur The purpose of this research is analize the eligibility of Chem Quartet as learning media on Periodic System of Element. The eligibility evaluated from three criteria are the validity based on development media procedure which validated by validator, the practicality based on student questionnaire responses supported by the student activities, and the effectiveness based on the mastery learning outcome. Type of this research is development with development model which adapted from Plomp in term three phases are preliminary, prototyping, and assessment. The testing is limited to 12 students of class X MIA-1 SMAN 1 Taman Sidoarjo with experiment metode one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that Chem Quartet very proper as learning media on Periodic System of Element. Its showed from content validation assessment with a percentage of 88.89% and construct validation assessment with a percentage of 88.00%. The practicality Chem Quartet as learning media get percentage average response of “Yes” answer of 98.15% with supported by the student activities. The effectiveness Chem Quartet as learning media was evaluated from the mastery learning outcome get percentage pretest of 16.67% and percentage posttest of 91,67%. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui keterlaksanaan sintaks model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, peningkatan keterampilan proses sains, ketuntasan hasil belajar dan respon siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pokok kesetimbangan kimia. Penelitian ini menggunakan One &ndash; group pretest &ndash; posttest design dengan sampel penelitian yaitu 26 siswa kelas XI MIA-5 SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya. Penelitian menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut. (1) keterlaksanaan pertemuan I yaitu dalam kriteria baik dan sangat baik, lalu meningkat pada pertemuan II dan III menjadi kriteria sangat baik pada setiap fase karena memperoleh prosentase &ge; 61%. (2) Keterampilan proses sains meningkat sebanyak 81% siswa tuntas. Nilai N-gain diperoleh 3,84% siswa termasuk kategori rendah, 80,77% kategori sedang, dan 15,38% kategori tinggi dengan hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti peningkatannya signifikan yang didukung dengan hasil pengamatan keterampilan proses sains dan laporan ilmiah siswa yang meningkat setiap pertemuan. (3) Hasil posttest aspek pengetahuan diperoleh 84,62% siswa mencapai ketuntasan dengan nilai rata &ndash; rata sebesar 3,29. (4) Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi kesetimbangan kimia dinyatakan baik karena mendapat respon &ge; 61%. Kata kunci : Keterampilan proses sains, inkuiri terbimbing, kesetimbangan kimia The aims of this research ware knowing feasibility syntax of guided inquiry learning model, increasing science process skills, thoroughness of study, and student&rsquo;s respond through implementation of guided inquiry learning model in matter of chemistry equilibrium. This research used One &ndash; group pretest &ndash; posttest design with sampel of research were 26 student XI MIA-5 Grade of Senior High School 18 Surabaya. The result of this research were (1) feasibility of first meeting was included good and excellent criterion, then at second and third meeting increased to excellent criterion in all phases because obtained percentage &ge; 61%. (2) science process skills increased to 81% student was thorough. N-gain score was 3,84% student included low category, 80,77% student included middle category, and 15,38% student included high category with result Wilcoxon test showed 0,000 < 0,05 meaning this increasing was significant which supported by observation result of science process skills and student&rsquo;s scientific report was increased each meeting. (3) posttest result of cognitive aspect was 84,62% student reached thoroughness with average score was 3,29. (4) student&rsquo;s respond to implementation guided inquiry learing model in matter chemistry equilibrium alleged good because obtained respond &ge; 61%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prakonsepsi siswa, keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran ECIRR, dan pergeseran miskonsepsi siswa pada materi kesetimbangan kimia sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran ECIRR. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan &ldquo;One Group Pretest-Posttest Design&rdquo;. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA-2 SMAN 1 Pacet pada semester 1 tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Penetapan miskonsepsi siswa menggunakan Three-tier Diagnostic Test. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prakonsepsi siswa didominasi oleh siswa tidak tahu konsep yang mencapai 52.22%. Keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran ECIRR pada pertemuan pertama sebesar 87.03%, pertemuan kedua sebesar 85.18%, dan pertemuan ketiga sebesar 87.03%. Pergeseran miskonsepsi siswa menuju tahu konsep untuk tiap-tiap konsep mencapai 26%. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, Model Pembelajaran ECIRR. The aims of this study are to determine students preconceptions, learning management with ECIRR instruction model, and the shifting of student&rsquo;s misconseptions on chemical equilibrium before and after learning by ECIRR instruction model. The type of this study was preexperiment research and design research was &ldquo;One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design&rdquo;.The subjects were students of class XI MIA-2 SMAN 1 Pacet as many as 36 students in the 1st semester 2015/2016 school year. Determination of students misconceptions used Three-tier Diagnostic Test. The results analysis of study showed that students preconception dominated by the student does not know the concept of which reached 52%.. Percentage of learning management with ECIRR instruction model at the first meeting of 87.03%, the second meeting of 85.18%, and the third meeting of 87.03%. The shifting of student&rsquo;s misconseptions for each concept reaches 26%. Keywords: Misconception, ECIRR instruction model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Gresik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Gresik. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar tes keterampilan proses sains dan lembar tes hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil belajar ranah keterampilan proses sains siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi laju reaksi telah mencapai skor &ge;2,67 dan telah dilatihkan dengan baik yang dibuktikan dengan skor rata-rata siswa pada pertemuan pertama hingga ketiga berturut-turut sebesar 3,31; 3,52; dan 3;67 dan sebanyak 76% siswa dikatakan tuntas pada pertemuan pertama dan 97% siswa dikatakan tuntas pada pertemuan kedua dan ketiga. 2) Hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi laju reaksi telah mencapai skor ketuntasan yang diharapkan, yaitu &ge;2,67 yang ditunjukkan dengan skor rata-rata pada tiap indikator adalah 3,22; 3,66; 3,32; dan 3,44. Sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal siswa pada tiap indikator tersebut berturut-turut adalah 85%, 94%, 85%, dan 85%. Kata Kunci: inkuiri, keterampilan proses sains, laju reaksi. The aim of this research is to know student&rsquo;s science process skills in class of XI SMA Negeri 1 Gresik through the implementation of inquiry learning model. This research used one- group pretest - posttest design with descriptive quantitative type. Implementation of research carried out in class XI MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Gresik. The instruments that used was test sheets of the science process skills and test sheets of cognitive product. The results showed that : 1 ) Student's science process skills after implementation inquiry learning model on reaction rates material has reached &ge;2,67 and has exercised well that proved by the average score of students at the first to the third meeting respectively 3.31 ; 3.52 ; and 3 ; 67 and 76% of students thoroughly studied in the first meeting and 97 % of students thoroughly studied in the second and third meetings. 2 ) Cognitive product after implementation inquiry learning model on reaction rates material has reached &ge;2,67 that proved by the average score of each indicator was 3.22; 3.66; 3.32; and 3.44. While the classical of cognitive product in each of these indicators are respectively 85 % , 94 % , 85 % and 85 %. Keywords: inquiry, science process skills, reaction rates.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kelayakan permainan Kartu Domino Kimia yang dikembangkan pada materi Unsur. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D yang terdiri dari tahap studi pendahuluan, pengembangan dan pengujian produk. Penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai pada tahap studi pengembangan yaitu uji coba terbatas. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar telaah, validasi, pretest dan postest, observasi aktivitas siswa, dan angket respon siswa. Media permainan Kartu Domino Kimia ini divalidasi oleh satu Dosen Kimia, satu Dosen PLB, dan satu Guru IPA SMALB serta diujicobakan pada 10 siswa kelas XI SMALB Karya Mulya Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan Kartu Domino Kimia layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran kimia pada materi Unsur bagi siswa SMALB Tunarungu. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari penilaian validasi yang mendapat kriteria sangat layak dengan rentang persentase sebesar 73,33% - 93,33% ditinjau dari kualitas penyajian, tampilan, bahasa dan persyaratan sebagai permainan pendidikan. Respon siswa Siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap media permainan dan permaianan dengan rentang nilai sebesar 70% - 100%. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pada kategori sedang yang ditunjukkan melalui perhitungan skor gain dengan rentang 0,2 &ndash; 0,5 Kata Kunci: Kartu Domino Kimia, SMALB Tunarungu, Materi Unsur. The aim of this research is to determine the eligibility of Domino Chemistry Card games that developed on the subject matter of unsure. This type of research including research and development (R&D) consisting of the preliminary study stage, the development of studies and product testing. This research limited to the development of studies on limited testing. Instrument of this research is analyzed sheet, validation sheet, pretest and postest sheet, student activities sheet, and student questionaire response. Media was validated by lecturer chemistry, lecturer PLB and Sains teacher of SMALB as well tasted for ten students XI SMALB Karya Mulya Surabaya. The results showed that Domino Chemistry Card games worthy to use as learning media of chemistry at unsure materials. This is shown from the validation assessment criteria gets very decent with the range a percentage of 73,33% - 93,33% in terms of the quality of appearance, presentation, language, and requirements as educational games. The results of students' responses showed a positive response with the range a percentage of 70% - 100%. Student learning outcomes showed improvement in the category indicated by the calculation with the range a gain score of 0,2 &ndash; 0,5. Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari LKS berorientasi open ended problem solving pada submateri perubahan entalpi reaksi kimia untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang dikembangkan baik secara teoritis maupun empiris. Kelayakan teoritis ditinjau berdasarkan hasil validasi, sedangkan kelayakan empiris ditinjau berdasarkan respon siswa terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengacu pada metode pengembangan 4-D (four-D method). Pelaksanaan pengembangan pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan (Develop), karena penelitian ini dilakukan hanya untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar telaah, lembar validasi, dan angket respon siswa. LKS yang dikembangkan ditelaah untuk mendapat saran, kemudian divalidasi untuk mendapatkan penilaian, dan diujicobakan kepada 20 siswa kelas XI MIA 2 SMAN 19 Surabaya untuk mengetahui respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan LKS yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan secara teoritis dan empiris. Hal tersebut karena kelayakan teoritis dari hasil validasi mendapatkan persentase kriteria isi sebesar 90,56%; kriteria penyajian sebesar 86,11%; dan kriteria bahasa sebesar 87,5%. Selain itu kelayakan empiris dari respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa siswa sangat merespon kriteria isi dengan persentase 86,58%; kriteria penyajian 85%; dan kriteria bahasa 88% . Kata Kunci: Lembar Kerja Siswa, open ended problem solving, perubahan entalpi The study was aimed to know the feasibility of student worksheet with open ended problem solving oriented on enthalpy changes of chemical reaction subject matter to train student critical thinking skill that had been develop according to theoretically and empirically feasibility. The theoretical feasibility is reviewed based validation result, while empirical feasibility is reviewed based on student responses to student worksheets. This research and development refer to four-D model. This study is limited on develop stage, because the study was conducted only to know the feasibility of student worksheet. The instrument of this study consists of review sheet, validation sheet, and response Student worksheet that developed was reviewed to get advice, then validated to get an assessment, and tested on 20 students of class XI MIA 2 SMAN 19 Surabaya to know the students responses. Based on the result of study can conclude that the student worksheet is feasible to be use theoretically and empirically. It has because the theoretical feasibility get percentage of content is 90.56%; presentation is 86.11%; and language criteria from validation result is 87.5%. Furthermore, the empirical feasibility from students response shown that student response on good category to the some criteria, content with percentage 86.58%; presentation 85%; and language criteria 88%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan peningkatan keterampilan proses siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan strategi POGIL pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan strategi POGIL, dan lembar soal tes keterampilan proses. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Persentase rata-rata keterlaksanaan strategi POGIL pada pertemuan I sebesar 96,98% (sangat baik); pertemuan II sebesar 98,29 (sangat baik); pertemuan III sebesar 98,71% (sangat baik); (2) Keterampilan proses siswa mengalami ketuntasan klasikal untuk pretest sebesar 0% dan postest sebesar 94,6, peningkatan dinyatakan dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,702 (Tinggi). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan, melatih keterampilan proses sains siswa, dan mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap LKS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development. Subjek penelitian adalah LKS yang dikembangkan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini antara lain dosen kimia, guru kimia, dan 12 siswa kelas X MIA SMA. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar post test keterampilan proses sains, dan lembar angket respon siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKS dinyatakan layak berdasarkan kriteria isi, penyajian, kegrafikan dan kebahasaan dengan persentase antara 75%-100%; (2) Keterampilan proses sains siswa yang terdiri dari keterampilan merancang penelitian, melakukan penelitian, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis data dan menyimpulkan berhasil dilatihkan dengan rata-rata nilai post test siswa sebesar 3,11 dengan predikat B (baik); (3) LKS mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa dengan persentase antara 75%-100%. Kata-kata Kunci: LKS, Keterampilan Proses Sains, Contextual Teaching and Learning, Larutan Elektrolit dan Nonelektrolit. The aims of this research are to describe the feasibility of student activity sheet that have been developed, to practice student&rsquo;s science process skills, and to describe student response toward the activity sheet. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research is student activity sheet that have been developed. The data source of this research were chemistry lecturer, chemistry teacher, and 12 10th grade senior high school students . The instruments that used were the analysis sheet, validation sheet, science process skill post test sheet, and student&rsquo;s response questioner sheet. Data are analyzed descriptively. The result of this research showed that (1) the activity sheet categorized as feasible based on content, presentation, graphic, and language with percentage between 75%-100%; (2) Science process skills that included designing investigation, conducting investigation, collecting data, analyzing data, and concluding skill successfully practiced with average student&rsquo;s skill score 3,11 with the predicate B (good); (3) the activity sheet get positive response from students with percentage between 75%-100%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan metakognitif siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pokok laju reaksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA-1 SMAN 1 Manyar Gresik pada semester 1 tahun ajaran 2015-2016 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian berlangsung selama tiga kali pertemuan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah &ldquo;One Shot Case Study&rdquo;. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes berupa soal berbasis keterampilan metakognitif dan angket berupa angket inventori metakognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keterampilan metakognitif siswa berdasarkan tes berbasis keterampilan metakognitif berturut-turut untuk planning skills 88,54; 90,63; 95,31; monitoring skills 71,88; 82,29; 84,38; dan evaluating skills 85,42; 90,10; 91,15. Hasil tersebut didukung oleh perolehan inventori metakognitif yang diberikan pada pertemuan 1, 2, dan 3 berturut-turut untuk pllaning skills 83,73; 84,54; 89,06; monitoring skills 78,05; 79,56; 80,02 dan evaluating skills 80,86; 82,29; 86,33. Secara keseluruhan, keterampilan metakognitif siswa dapat dikatakan terlatih dengan baik sekali. The result showed that metacognitive skills value based on metacognitive skills of planning skills is 88,54; 90,63; 95,31 at monitoring skills 71,88; 82,29; 84,38 and evaluating skills 85,42; 90,10; 91,15. This result are supported by the achievement of metacognitive inventory given at the meeting of 1 , 2 and 3 respectively for planning skills 83,73; 84,54; 89,06 at monitoring skills 78,05; 79,56; 80,02 and at evaluating skills 80,86; 82,29; 86,33. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran semi guided inquiry dan mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Driyorejo pada materi pokok ikatan kimia kovalen polar dan nonpolar. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah One Group Pretest Postest Design dengan jenis penelitian pre-experimental design. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran, lembar aktivitas siswa, lembar tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, lembar tes hasil belajar, dan lembar angket respon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran semi guided inquiry. Pada indikator keterampilan mengajukan pertanyaan mengalami peningkatan dari 1,83 menjadi 3,38, keterampilan menganalisis asumsi meningkat dari 1,75 menjadi 3,16, keterampilan menguji fakta-fakta meningkat dari 1,67 menjadi 3,20, dan keterampilan mempertimbangkan interpretasi meningkat dari 1,71 menjadi 3,20. Hal ini didukung dengan data keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran yang menyatakan bahwa peneliti yang bertindak sebagai guru melakukan sintaks dalam pembelajaran semi guided inquiry dapat dikatakan efektif selama 2 kali pertemuan dengan kategori sangat baik pada tiap-tiap fase pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: model semi guided inquiry, keterampilan berpikir kritis, ikatan kimia kovalen polar dan nonpolar. This study aims to measure the feasibility of semi guided inquiry learning model and examine critical thinking skill of grade ten students of SMAN 1 Driyorejo on polar and non-polar covalent bonds. The design used in this study was one group pretest posttest with pre-experimental study type. The instruments used included observation sheet of the learning models feasibility, students&rsquo; worksheets, test paper of critical thinking skill, test paper of achievement, and questionnaire response sheet. The result showed that students&rsquo; critical thinking skill increased after applying semi guided inquiry learning model. The score of each skills indicator increased including skills of asking question from 1.83 to 3.38, analyzing assumptions from 1.75 to 3.16, testing facts from 1.67 to 3.20 and considering the interpretation from 1.71 to 3.20. The increasing skills were supported by the data of learning model feasibility stating that the researcher, who acted as the teacher performing syntax in semi guided inquiry learning, was effective in two meetings with excellent category in each learning phase.
