Abstract

Improving the service quality system is an important role in universities. The purpose of the study was to determine the highest gap of each fuzzy- servqual dimension. Research procedures with statistical test steps, designing fuzzy methods, and designing fuzzy- servqual gaps. Determination of the highest level of expectation and expectation gaps from users of the administrative service system using fuzzy- service quality includes ASR3 codes of -2.25, RLB3 -2.2, RSP2 -2.17, EPT3 -1.99, TGB5 -1.85. The gap is the highest of each dimension.

Abstract

Kamal-Madura Port is an ASDP (River, Lake and Ferry Transport) ferry port in Bangkalan-Madura Regency, the operation of the Suramadu Bridge has an impact on the performance of the Kamal-Madura Port, one of which is a decrease in the vitality of the area such as damaged road conditions, several canteens that have not been operating for a long time. With the decrease in ferry activities at the Kamal-Madura Port, there has also been a decrease in the activities of traders, small industries and public transportation. As a company that offers transportation services, Kamal-Madura Port must have good service quality so that it can continue to grow, by measuring the level of satisfaction or passenger perceptions of service quality it is very useful for port managers or administrators to find out which components need to be improved and quality improved. Researchers use the IPA method (Importance Perfomance Analysis), This method serves to measure the level of service quality in a company and which priorities must be maintained so that the company's performance is in line with consumer expectations. The results of this studyThe results of the study show that the mean value of respondents' satisfaction answers is 51.52% which can be concluded that the level of passenger satisfaction at Kamal-Madura Port is average, namely between satisfied and dissatisfied with port facility services because the percentage is <60%.

Abstract

Layout is the most important aspect in an industry. A good production layout will increase efficiency in the production process. UD.Gajah Delta is a business unit engaged in the production of cooking equipment. The layout at UD. Gajah Delta is still in a condition that has not considered the smooth movement of materials. The purpose of this research is to redesign the layout of the production process which produces a proposed layout with low material movement costs. Redesign starts from data collection. The data that has been collected is then processed using the From To Chart calculation method to minimize material movement. The proposed layout chosen was the 25th Trial From To Chart with a total Forward and Backward value of 20,592.4. The proposed layouts are as many as 2, with the advantages and disadvantages of each. The proposed layout design is then simulated using the Flexsim software for accuracy in implementing the layout redesign

Abstract

Cutting hair is an activity that is routinely carried out by everyone, so the potential for this business is clearly large. The barbershop business was developed with the concept of maximizing the best service by offering skilled barbers, a comfortable place, an easily accessible place and a price that is perceived as reasonable. One of the supporting facilities for barbering service products is a barbering chair that is comfortable and can pamper every customer. The problem is that barbering customers when carrying out activities while shaving are still in a still state with a sitting posture for a period of 30 minutes which can cause complaints musculoskeletal. Analysis that can be done with the method Nordic Body Map and Rapid upper limb assessment (RULA), the use of this method is supported by the condition when the customer feels pain in the body when shaving, the RULA method is used for the analysis of the customer's upper body posture to improve the posture of the body during activities. Based on the data processing that has been done, it shows that the complaints felt by barbershop customers are located on the buttocks with a score of 24 complaints, the left elbow with a score of 23 complaints, and the right elbow with a score of 22 complaints. Abstract

Warehouse is a means of storing stock of goods in a supply chain (Supplychain). The management system in warehousing requires a database-based computer application system, which is used to improve warehouse efficiency in maintaining the accuracy of inventory data by recording every transaction in the warehouse, setting goods storage methods, and integration between warehouses. All of these aspects must be regulated properly, because if not, decreased warehouse performance can lead to a loss in the supply chain. PT. Triteguh Manunggal Sejati-Gowa is one of the companies engaged in the soft drink industry by producing and supplying soft drinks in the Eastern Indonesia region, precisely on Jl. Axis Malino KM. 21, Pakatto Village, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi-Indonesia. In this study only to identify how the quality of warehouse employee performance at PT.Triteguh Manunggal Sejati Gowa and how the influence before and after the implementation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This study aims to determine how the quality of warehouse performance at PT.Triteguh Manunggal Sejati Gowa and Knowing the effect before and after the implementation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) on the performance of the warehouse at PT.Triteguh Manuggal Sejati Gowa. by using multiple linear regression method. And the results of this study show that the quality of the performance of Finish Good warehouse employees has good quality after the implementation of the warehouse management system. It can be seen from the increase in performance effectiveness. and the results of further research on the influence before and after the implementation of WMS on warehouse performance there is a simultaneous influence on the performance of warehouse employees finish good can be seen from F count greater than F table that is 14,327 greater than 4.46 and a significance level of 0.003 less than 0.05

Abstract

PT Pelindo (Persero) branch of Tanjung Perak, the Jamrud Terminal division is a subsidiary of BUMN PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero). This company has the duty to regulate and manage port business entities in the field of multipurpose terminal operations in Indonesia. In the process of loading and unloading services, problems are found, namely the length of the loading and unloading process which causes long waiting times. Ships waiting in line to get loading and unloading services can wait a maximum of about 138 hours, which can then get services for the loading and unloading process. There were long queues from 15 October to 21 October with 9-13 ships waiting to be served. The purpose of this research is to find out the average length of ship service time and to reduce ship waiting time. The intended target or scope is the North Jamrud and West Jamrud terminal divisions which are used for international loading and unloading. The method used to solve this problem is a discrete simulation method using the Arena software. Number out results were obtained from the Arena software simulation in the initial scenario of 39 ships. Several repair scenarios were carried out and the best repair scenario was obtained, namely the 3rd repair by adding 3 servers and obtaining a number out of 40 ships

Abstract

One of the factors that cause easily damaged and potholed road conditions is commonly known as Over Dimension and Over Load (ODOL), and is also one of the causes of the decline in road condition or quality. With the availability of many limestones in Indonesia, it encourages researchers to conduct research on limestone as a filler in the AC-BC mixture using the Marshall test method. The purpose of utilizing limestone filler is how to overcome the limitations of construction materials. Testing Analysis of limestone filler filters obtained a value of 84.06%. Specific gravity testing obtained a value of 2.611. Judging from the flow value at asphalt content of 4.5%, 5.1%, 5.6%, 6.1%, and 6.6% with values of 3.80 mm, 3.97 mm, 3.60 mm, 4.03 mm, and 4.07 mm. Judging from the stability value at asphalt content of 4.5%, 5.1%, 5.6%, 6.1%, and 6.6% with values of 968.6 kg, 1144.6 kg, 1010.9 kg, 1027.6 kg and 991.2 kg. The results showed that the use of Gresik limestone as a substitute for filler in the AC-BC mixture met the specifications that had been set so that it could be used as an alternative filler substitute for highway pavement materials

Abstract

Today's industrial competition encourages companies to continue to improve the quality of their products. However, the quality of the product itself is not only influenced by how the processes occur in the production line, but also related to a series of flows starting from the arrival of materials until the product is received by consumers. As happened at PT. X, the company wants to identify product quality problems and reduce the number of product defects because many defective products are found. To control product quality, a method is used to reduce product defects by using the New Seven Tools method. New Seven Tools is one of the quality control methods used to find and solve qualitative problems. By using the New Seven Tools method, several causes of problems were found and recommendations for improvements were appropriate for each problem. Based on the results of the analysis to find the causes of quality problems using the New Seven Tools method, it can be concluded that there are 8 types of defects with 3 main factors causing defects, namely operator error during workmanship, poor material quality, and lack of quality inspection

Abstract

Heart disease is a disorder in the form of plaque that occurs in large blood vessels. This disrupts the supply of oxygen to the organs of the body. Heart disease is 1 of the 3 most common causes of death worldwide. Therefore, early detection based on the examination of medical data is needed to prevent the impact. The method used for classification is Support vector machine (SVM) and dimension reduction is Principal component analysis (PCA). The dataset is from Kaggle, medical records of 299 patients with 12 features and 1 label. The results obtained are the level of accuracy of PCA 6 features and without PCA both produce 82.9% and a total of 51 misclassifications. The processing time required is slightly longer for PCA 6 features (0.69121 seconds) than without PCA (0.46173 seconds). Because it has the same level of accuracy, the f-score metric is used to assess the classification model. The SVM with PCA 6 features has an f-score of 0.879, this is slightly better than SVM without PCA, which is 0.878
