Abstract

Transshipment adalah aktivitas pemindahan suatu barang dari tempat asal ke tujuan melalui titik persinggahan, sehingga konsumen tidak menerima barang yang dipesan secara langsung dari pabrik melainkan melalui distributor. Metode transshipment bertujuan untuk memilih rute pengiriman yang paling optimal untuk memenuhi setiap permintaan di lokasi yang berbeda. Hal itu menyebabkan perhitungan dan pertimbangan diperlukan guna meminimalisir biaya yang timbul akibat transhipment yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada perusahaan penjual motor yang memiliki 2 buah titik asal, 3 buah titik persinggahan dan 3 buah titik tujuan sehingga dapat dicari rute mana yang menimbulkan biaya paling efisien. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dari penelitian sebelumnya dengan menggunakan metode Vogel Approximation Method (VAM) dan akan diselesaikan menggunakan software LINGO. Hasil yang didapat dari software LINGO akan dibandingkan dengan hasil penelitian sebelumnya, dengan harapan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi masukan bagi pihak perusahaan dalam meminimumkan cost dari pengiriman barang.

Abstract

PT Yin Hwa Indonesia is a company that produces Shoelasts which will be used to support the production of shoes with world-famous brands. Based on the data obtained by researchers from the ERP system there are differences that occur between conditions in the field and data stored in the ERP system. This difference condition is getting bigger when the production of shoelast has exceeded 20000 pairs every month.The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the ERP system in the Shoelast Production Process and to find solutions related to the problems of implementing the ERP system so that problems regarding the application of the ERP system are no longer found.The research method used is the PDCA method, which is the method used to solve the problem of data differences in the ERP system that occurs in the production department.Observations and interviews conducted by researchers, there are several problems that must be taken corrective action, namely making SOPs due to the absence of SOPs related to the implementation of ERP systems in the production section, increasing bandwidth because ERP systems that use internet networks require a capacity that matches the number of ERP system users, worker training in order to improve competence in running an ERP system in the production section , and it is necessary to install additional software, namely Lan Messengger to support the speed of information between the recipient of information from consumers and the part that runs the information.From the observations, it can be suggested that improvements that need to be implemented by the company include making SOPs with ISO 9001: 2015 standards, increasing bandwidth, training workers and installing the Lan Messengger software

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan rute optimal dalam pengiriman produk ke customer untuk meminimalkan biaya distribusi dan mengetahui besarnya penghematan dengan menerapkan salah satu metode cost reduction yaitu metode Saving Matrix. PT. Continental Cosmetic merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang kosmetik. Perusahaan ini memiliki beberapa customer sebagai tujuan distribusi produknya, beberapa diantaranya terletak di luar kota dan memiliki jarak yang jauh antara satu dengan yang lain. Hal ini cukup menyita waktu dan biaya pada proses distribusi kosmetik oleh PT. Continental Cosmetic, maka beberapa variabel yang berkaitan dengan sistem distribusi perlu diefisiensikan dengan metode Saving Matrix. Penerapan metode Saving Matrix di perusahaan kosmetik ini dapat dapat mengoptimalkan jarak rute distribusi dari 1372,1 KM menjadi 712,5 KM, dengan pengoptimalan rute distribusi dapat mereduksi biaya distribusi sebesar 41%, dari Rp 7.118.997 menjadi Rp 2.951.250.

Abstract

Manajemen transportasi dan distribusi merupakan pengaturan sistem pengiriman barang dengan moda transportasi yang bertujuan agar proses distribusi barang menjadi lebih tertata. Pada umumnya permasalahan transportasi dalam bidang fashion dan retail berhubungan dengan distribusi produk dari berbagai sumber ke beberapa lokasi penjualan. Pendistribusian memegang peran penting karena tanpa adanya pola distribusi yang tepat, maka proses ini dapat memakan biaya tinggi dan mengakibatkan pemborosan dari segi waktu, jarak dan tenaga. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan transportasi dan distribusi PT. Nushel Jaya Mandiri menggunakan metode Northwest Corner dan program Lingo. Metode Northwest Corner (NWC) adalah salah satu metode transportasi yang paling mudah dilakukan untuk mendapatkan solusi layak awal, untuk menemukan hasil yang optimal maka digunakan program Lingo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan biaya tarnsportasi distribusi pengiriman barang pada PT. Nushel Jaya Mandiri dengan menggunakan metode Northwest Corner dan Program Lingo. Dari hasil pembahasan, diperoleh biaya transportasi dengan menggunakan metode Northwest Corner sebesar Rp 5.983.683 dan dengan program Lingo sebesar Rp 5.017.134 Hal ini, menandakan bahwa solusi awal dengan metode Northwest Corner belum mendekati hasil yang optimal, dan hasil optimal dapat dilihat dari hasil program Lingo.

Abstract

Untuk menunjang pengiriman sertifikat uji kompetensi, maka diperlukan adanya pusat distribusi untuk mengirimkan secara tepat waktu ke berbagai daerah di Pulau Jawa. Penelitian pada PT. XYZ memiliki tujuan untuk menentukan lokasi pusat distribusi yang efektif dan efisien dalam hal meminimalkan biaya transportasi, karena saat ini tidak terdapat pusat distribusi. Dengan adanya pusat distribusi tersebut, kita dapat mengetahui perbandingan biaya pengiriman sertifikat ke perusahaan-perusahaan yang dituju, dan juga dapat mengetahui apakah metode center of gravity dapat diterapkan pada PT. XYZ atau tidak. Studi kasus penelitian ini adalah pengiriman sertifikat pada wilayah Pulau Jawa dengan mengumpulkan data pengiriman sertifikat pada PT. XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan software google maps untuk menentukan titik koordinat setiap customer, menggunakan software Desmos Graphing Calculator dan Microsoft Excel utuk membuat diagram kartesian serta mengolah data. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu lokasi pusat distribusi baru yang terletak di Kota Tangerang untuk daerah barat dan Kota Gresik untuk daerah timur. Dengan adanya pusat distribusi baru maka berpengaruh pada perubahan biaya transportasi, yaitu terjadi pembengkakan biaya sebesar Rp.1.954.000.

Abstract

A company engaged in aluminum metal makes aluminum frame doors and windows as one of its products. For the purposes of the production process of aluminum frame doors and windows, aluminum metal raw materials are needed. Control of raw material stocks in PT. Al so far still needs to improve its efficiency due to the excessive accumulation of raw materials due to the purchase of raw materials that are still not in accordance with the needs of raw materials for production. Such problems interfere in the production process at the enterprise. Therefore, a careful calculation method is needed accompanied by efficiency and is able to reduce the cost of raw material stock to a minimum. In this study, the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method was used to be applied to reduce stock costs to a minimum in terms of storage costs and ordering costs. In this study, data on the cost of procurement of raw materials carried out by the company before the implementation of EOQ amounted to Rp. 5,681,128,000 per year, while after using the EOQ method the total cost was Rp. 1,533,187,750 per year, so that the total savings were Obtained was Rp. 4,147,940,250 per year

Abstract

PT. Tristan engineering is a company engaged in services and goods. This company provides services and procurement of goods or spare parts needed by other companies. The X-ray machine moves 165 rpm for 24 hours non-stop in checking the goods that come in and out of the company. In this situation, the damage can occur at any time and can cause uncertainty about the availability of the machines to support the checking process. This research aims to determine the application of the system and the benefits of the Reliability Centered Maintenance system on the application of maintenance of the x-ray machine conveyor motor. The research method used is the Reliability Centered Maintenance method, which is used to reduce downtime that occurs in PT. Tristan Engineering. The research results were obtained at PT. Tristan Engineering includes the absence of periodic maintenance, causing damage to the x-ray engine components. From the results of the improvement of the proposed conveyor motor maintenance application, the occurrence of downtime is caused by the identification of the failure to detect the severity value, occurrence, and detection of each component of the discussion and conclusion described using the FMEA method is 683 RPN, it must be done machine maintenance periodically. From the planning effort of Reliability Centered Maintenance accompanied by a comparative analysis, the proposed improvements can reduce the average downtime by 39% on the problems of each component accompanied by MTBF 2.412 hours

Abstract

       The presence of rejected products in the Phylon Injection departement in PT Adis Dimension Footwear is still considered by the negligence of Workers, Methode, Machine, Materials and the Environment that cause company losses because the company must reproduce to replace reject products.        The research was conducted to determine and analyze the level of defective products that occurred during 2017 and 2018, find out the highest types of reject, and know the factors causing these defective products.        This research was conducted with a case study qualitative approach (descriptive approach). Data collection by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. Research procedures using the theory of Milles and Huberman. Data validity was done by triangulation. Moreover, Seven Tools is the method in this research.           The results of the analysis using the Pareto Diagram of rejecting in 2017 and 2018 were 171.164  pcs, and the highest reject was produced by burning, namely 58.414 pcs, of other types of reject, namely bubbles as many as 47.936 pcs, dirty as many as 37584 pcs, deformed as many as 14.770 pcs, hole as 8513 pcs and tearing as many as 3.947 pcs. The highest reject histogram was burning, which was 112353 pcs, and the Control Chart had p values out of UCL and LCL, which means that the product defect rate exceeded the control limit.        Based on the analysis results using the Seven Tools method, it can be concluded that the Seven Tools methode can find out the problems that occur in the company.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the rate of corrosion of stainless steel 304 in HNO3 solution. The dyeing process is carried out at a temperature of 700C for 6 hours, followed by a temperature of 290C for 18 hours every 7 days. This is to bring the use of stainless steel in real terms using SAMOP reactor tubes (Sub Critical Assembly for Mo99  Prad Action). Specimens undergoing TIG welding and electric arcs are cleaned of impurities, then measured, drawn, weighed, and recorded their initial weight. Furthermore, specimens are dyed in a solution of HNO3  pH 0.2 and 0.5 at a temperature of 700C for6 hours, continued at a temperature of 290C for18 hours every 7 days for 3 months. The heavy recording is done every week. The results showed weight loss in all specimens. This is seen at a pH corrosion rate of 0.5 in electric arc welding of 0.105 grams/dm2/month, for the rate of corrosion without welds is 0.026 grams/dm2/month. At pH 0.2 on electric arc welding is 0.045 grams/dm2/month at a pH of 0.2 without lashing 0.02 grams/dm2/month. Test objects that have undergone welding compared to test objects that do not experience welding occur significant corrosion rate differences.

Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in manufacturing with Radiator products. From the results of the Nordic Body Map in the production department of the press shop line section, many workers have complaints in the muscles (musculoskeletal disorders) because the workplace is not ergonomic as many as 15 workers, including aches in the neck of 3 people, back pain 4 people, back pain 1, stiff neck 5 people, bent body 2 people. From these results, there needs to be further action by making the design of the seatwork facility ergonomic concerning anthropometric values.
