Abstract

School is a place for learning and teaching process. Availability facilities and students interaction with all components of the school have an important role in the implementation of educational process. According to Baron and Kenny (1986), school climate affects students’ achievement motivation. Therefore, school must provide a school climate to get optimal learning outcomes. In reality, there is a lack of school which can provide that and can help their students in learning process, but their students have achievements. This phenomenon appears in Bandung X Elementary School. This research aimed to find out the strength of correlation between students’ perceptions on school climate and their achievement motivation in 5th grade who have achieved in SD X Bandung which has a poor school climate. This study will employ quantitative correlation design. The subject of this study is a population of 52 achiever students in 5th grade SD X. The instrument use to gather data for the first variable (students’ perceptions on school climate) will be questionnaire from Freidberg (1999) which was modified by the researcher and questionnaire of achievement motivation which was constructed according to the achievement motivation theory from Hermans (1967). The result of this study shows that there was correlation of rs= 0,697 that according to Guilford table, this score is entered into the moderate correlation. It means, there is a positive correlation between students’ perceptions on school climate and their achievement motivation. In addition, this study shows that there are several factors that influence the students’ perception on poor school climate, which is family background such as economic status, parents’ educational level, working parents, home environment experiences and patterns of parenting. Despite this school has a poor school climate, students who have achievement more focused on their achieved and achievement motivation rather than focusing on how the climate in their school.

Abstract

Kemampuan persepsi visual memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Hal ini dikatakan penting, karena sebagian besar informasi yang diterima dari luar didapat melalui indera penglihatan atau mata. Persepsi visual juga memainkan peran yang penting dalam belajar terutama dalam membaca. Hambatan persepsi visual dapat menyebabkan proses belajar siswa tidak berjalan lancar dan hasil belajarnya tidak maksimal, sehingga tujuan-tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intervensi lateralisasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan persepsi visual pada siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Parongpong, Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dalam bentuk Single Subject Research (SSR) atau penelitian subjek tunggal. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah empat orang siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas II yang mengalami hambatan persepsi visual (dalam hal ini lateralisasi) yang menyebabkannya mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh intervensi lateralisasi terhadap peningkatan kemampuan persepsi visual pada keempat subjek yang mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, disarankan kepada pihak sekolah agar lebih memperhatikan siswa yang mengalami hambatan persepsi visual (dalam hal ini lateralisasi), sehingga guru dapat memberikan intervensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Kata Kunci : intervensi lateralisasi, kemampuan persepsi visual, kesulitan belajar membaca.

Abstract

Prajurit TNI yang melakukan pelanggaran tidak hanya dapat dituntut dengan aturan disiplin militer namun juga pidana umum. Tekanan yang besar muncul ketika kembali ke kesatuannya. Hal tersebut menjadi sumber stress yang mengakibatkan depresi. Pemikiran disfungsional membuat individu menjadi tidak produktif, hilang motivasi serta pesimis dalam menghadapi masa depan. Restrukturisasi kognitif merupakan salah satu terapi kognitif yang bertujuan mengubah skema berpikir yang disfungsional menjadi fungsional kembali. Media yang digunakan dalam merestrukturisasi kognitif ini adalah Ayat Kursi Al-Quran sebagai tuntunan hidup umat Islam. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Restrukturisasi Kognitif dengan media Ayat Kursi terhadap penurunan tingkat depresi pada narapidana militer yang akan mengakhiri masa tahanannya. Subjek penelitian berjumlah tiga orang dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian one group pretest posttest. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah BDI (Beck Depression Intervention). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Restrukturisasi Kognitif dengan media Ayat Kursi dapat menurunkan tingkat depresi pada narapidana militer yang akan mengakhiri masa tahanannya.

Abstract

Evaluasi hasil belajar dapat dilakukan melalui ujian dengan menggunakan soal pilihan ganda. Untuk dapat mengetahui apakah soal-soal UTS Pedologi Semester Ganjil 2015-2016 memiliki validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, kemampuan tiap soal dalam membedakan siswa yang paham dan tidak paham materi, serta kemampuan pilihan jawaban soal dalam mengganggu pilihan jawaban soal lainnya, maka dilakukan analisis item. Data yang dianalisis adalah jawaban dari 102 mahasiswa yang mengikuti UTS mata kuliah Pedologi Semester Ganjil 2015-2016. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa soal UTS Pedologi 2015-2016 masih memiliki banyak kekurangan, sehingga perlu dilakukan revisi pada soal-soal ujian tersebut agar dapat benar-benar melakukan evaluasi belajar dengan baik.

Abstract

Moral merupakan dasar dari pembentukan karakter setiap anak. Dengan moral, anak memahami perilaku-perilaku benar yang harus dia lakukan sesuai dengan tuntutan lingkungan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang ada, sebagian besar siswa sekolah dasar saat ini kurang memiliki karakter positif dalam bertindak, sehingga tidak adanya tutuntunan dalam berperilaku. Hal ini dapat terjadi disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, salah satunya Pendidikan dari orang tua di rumah. Untuk mengurangi dampak tersebut, peneliti pelatihan moral knowing yang dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan one group before after design, menggunakan alat ukur yang telah dibuat sedemikan rupa, yang merupakan turunan dari moral action yang dikembangkan oleh Lickona (2012). Menggunakan populasi sesuai dengan kriteria dalam proses pelatihan, telah diuji signifikansi wilcoxon menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan skor pre dan post test setelah diberikan intervensi moral knowing dalam meningkatkan moral action orang tua dalam mendidik anak.

Abstract

This Study was proposed to test a conceptual framework of correlating corporate image with the business customers in segment of the tourism industry. The data were obtained with the correlational method to the 36 participants who are the Manager of those business customers of Saung Angklung Udjo, PT. On addition, the sample were solicited with purposive sampling method. To measure the corporate image as the 1st variable in this study, theory from Frank Jefkins (1999) were used. In other hand, the measurement of business customers’ loyalty as the 2nd variable and had been operationalized according to the customer loyalty studys from Morais et. at (2004). Using the Rank Spearman’s correlation coefficient, with significance level 0.05, rs = 0.662, tcal> and dk = 34, the results indicated that the corporate image was positively associated with the business customers’ loyalty. The findings revealed that if business customers perceived that corporate already had a negative image, they in turn showed the low loyalty to the corporate. Further, determination coefficient resulted d = 43,82. This finding supported that, in this case, corporate image as the variable gave the contribution as much as 43,82% to the business customers’ loyalty.

Abstract

Penelitian korelasional ini dilakukan terhadap populasi 18 orang pengajar bimbingan belajar Villa Merah. Persoalan yang muncul bersumber dari tingginya tingkat turn over yang terjadi pada umumnya pengajar, namun demikian masih ada sebagian kecil yang tetap menunjukkan loyalitas dan komitmennya. Faktor personal terkait dengan kepribadian yang sesuai dengan tuntutan pekerjaan menjadi penting yang membedakan bagaimana seorang pengajar memaknakan lingkungan pekerjaan yang ada sehingga mampu tetap bertahan ataupun tidak. Melalui penelitian dengan mencari keeratan hubungan antara kesesuaian tipe kepribadian dengan karakteristik lingkungan pekerjaan dari teori J.P. Holland terhadap komitmen organisasi yang mengacu pada teori Steer & Porter, diharapkan dapat diperoleh manfaat dalam mengatasi persoalan turn over tersebut. Hasil perhitungan melalui Rank Spearman menggambarkan terdapat korelasi sebesar r = 0,764, artinya terdapat hubungan erat yang signifikan antara kesesuaian tipe kepribadian dengan lingkungan pekerjaan terhadap komitmen organisasi pada para pengajar di bimbingan belajar Villa Merah Bandung.

Abstract

Attachment is one of the important aspects in children’s development. However, there were some issues related with the condition of being working mothers. Based on that, the purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the maternal sensitivity and the postnatal attachment. Respondents in the study is a working mother who have infants (0-24 months) and the number were 100 mothers. The hypothesis of this study assumed that there was a positive correlation between maternal sensitivity to postnatal attachment among working mothers. The instruments of this study were consisted of the Maternal Postnatal Attachment Scale (MPAS) (Condon & Corkindale, 1998) and Maternal Sensitivity Scale compiled by researchers in establishing maternal sensitivity aspect of Ainsworth (1969; 2006). The results showed that the research hypothesis was accepted, that was indicated with significant correlation between maternal sensitivity and postnatal attachment (r = 0.596; p = 0.000). This finding will be discussed further in this paper.

Abstract

Background problems in this study are base on the phenomenon of West Java Performance athletes shoot low ands shooting sports sequences that fall into the category of main stay 2. The ability of athletes affected by psychological factors. One of which is personality. Coach argued that the shooting athlete lack adequate to deal with mental game. Athletes have not been able to demonstrate appropriate behavior with the behavior of the ideal athlete who demands the firing of certain personality characteristic. Picture of the ideal personality of shoot athletes have nearly the same explanation with some of explanation personality factors put forward by Bernard Raymond Cattel. Shooting sport require athletes who have control the thoughts, actions, and emotions, the ability of  a high concentration, and confidence. The purpose of this study was to gain insight about the personality profile athletes shoot in West Java. The Study population was all athletes shoot West Java being included in the qualifying round of PON. Where populations totaling fifteen people measuring instrument used are test kits that measure personality, namely Cattel 16 PF of which consist of 105 questions. This study is a qualitative description study in analyzing the data so the research results are not used statistical test, Count statistics used only simple statistic calculation of the mean data. The data is then analyzed and interpreted. Based on the calculated mean of seven personality factors directly related to the shooting sports. It seems that in general score is dominated by athletes shoot the normal category and are moving toward low normal. This shows that athletes do not have a personality that matches the characteristics of the ideal athlete to shoot. When seeing the personality profile of each athlete, there are still some athletes who have a factor that does not fit more than a factor that matches the characteristics of the ideal athlete to shoot. In General. Factors that do not fit these are the factors C (emotional stability) is low, the factor L (vigilance) is high, and factors Q3 (perfectionism) is low.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know how the adaption pattern or self adaption of students who perforce entering islamic boarding school because of their parents’ choice in Al Amanah Modern Islamic boarding school. Besides, this research was also purposed to know what factors which hampered and supported the adaption process in that school. The research used qualitative methode with case-study approach. The informen were three 7th grade-girl students who perforce entering the boarding school by their parents in Al Amanah Modern Islamic boarding school. Data collecting used Deeply Interview methode. According to the research result, showed that students who perforce entering boarding school needed more time to adapt and should have ability or skill to handle stressor to increase their achievement. Many rules in boarding school made them get difficulty to adapt. Meanwhile, by making more friends who had same problem and motivating each other can support the adaption process.
