Jurnal ini memuat naskah hasil penelitian dengan kajian ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan bidang kesehatan secara umum dan bidang farmasi khususnya. Sebuah jurnal yang didedikasikan untuk publikasi hasil penelitian seluruh aspek ilmu farmasi sebagai berikut : farmasetika, kimia farmasi, biologi farmasi, bioteknologi farmasi, serta farmakologi dan farmasi klinik, namun tak terbatas secara implisit. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali dalam setahun yaitu setiap bulan Januari dan Juli.

<![CDATA[A research has been conducted with the title "Effectiveness of Covid-19 vaccination on the morbidity rate of Covid-19 students of AKFAR Yamasi Class of 2019 in July 2022. This type of research is an observational descriptive study with a quantitative approach and uses a questionnaire research instrument. Where the population used as respondents is 140 students of AKFAR Yamasi Class of 2019, while the number of samples obtained using the slovin formula is obtained by 15 respondents, then the morbidity rate (Risk Ratio) is calculated by comparing sick respondents (infected with covid-19) with respondents who are not sick (not infected with covid-19). Obtained a risk ratio of 26.7% while those who are not at risk of getting sick are 73.3%. Because the morbidity rate is <50%, the covid-19 vaccination is said to be effective]]>

<![CDATA[Wounds are a condition that is often experienced by everyone, whether with mild, moderate or severe severity. Wounds are the loss or destruction of part of the body's tissues. This study aims to determine how the effect of ethanol extract of areca nut (Areca catechu L.) on the wound healing process in rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus). The method used in the manufacture of extracts is by maceration using 70% ethanol as a solvent. The test animals were divided into 5 groups consisting of 3 test animals. Group I was given Na-CMC as a negative control, group II was given 3% betel nut ethanol extract, group III was given 5% betel nut ethanol extract, group IV was given 7% ethanol extract, and group 5 was given Nebacetin powder as a positive control. . The results of this study showed that pinan seed ethanol extract could acc elerate wound healing in rabbits at a maximum concentration of 7%. The results of the Anova statistical test on cuts in rabbits using Areca Nut extract obtained a significance value of P > 0.05 (at the 0.05 level, i.e. 0.000 < 0.005). This means that each treatment gives a significant (significant) difference, for this it is necessary to proceed with testing the average difference of each treatment with the LSD Post Hoc tests.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of bitter leaf extract (Andrographis paniculata Nees.) against staphylococcus aureus. This research was conducted experimentally in the laboratory, the extract was made by maceration method using 96% ethanol. Concentration of 2%, 3%, positive control, and negative control were made. <![CDATA[Carrots have the potential to be anti-aging because of its antioxidant content as an anti-aging. This study aims to make a carrot tuber extract spray serum and to determine the physical quality test of carrot tuber extract spray serum preparations (Daucus carota L.). The extraction method used is maceration. Then proceed with the manufacture of serum spray. The results showed that carrot tuber extract can be used in the manufacture of serum spray preparations as an anti-aging and fulfilling physical quality tests.]]>

<![CDATA[Medication error is an actual adverse event that can be prevented during the patient's treatment process. Medication error can occur in the prescribing phase, so the recipe must be complete and clear to avoid mistakes in reading the recipe especially if the patient is still children. Because child patients have the function of organs that have not been maximized in terms of drug distribution in the body. The type of research used in this study is a descriptive observation with a cross sectional operational approach in RSUP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar. From the results of the research has been concluded that the event medication biggest error occurred in the prescribing phase at IGD Anak in May 2020 is the absence of the patient's weight written in the prescription with a percentage of 87.9%, and the smallest occurrence that occurs is not to write the prescription date with a percentage of 1.7%.]]>

<![CDATA[Research has been carried out to test the inhibitory power of the ethanol extract of pandan leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) ointment against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The aim of this study was to determine the inhibition of the ointment preparation of ethanol extract of fragrant pandan leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. First, fragrant pandan leaves are made into simplicia and then extracted with 96% ethanol solvent, then the extract obtained is made into an ointment with an extract concentration of 10% and 20%, where the ointment base used is vaselinum and adeps lanae base, then the ointment is tested for effects. its inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria using the well method and incubated for 1 × 24 hours. The average diameter of the inhibition obtained from the sample preparation of the ethanol extract of pandan fragrant leaf ethanol extract with a concentration of 10%: 0 mm, 20%: 8.3 mm, and the positive control used was gentamicin with an average inhibition zone of 10.6 mm]]>

<![CDATA[Cardiovascular disease is a non-communicable disease that most often causes death, this study aims to describe the use of cardiac drugs in outpatients at the Stella Maris Hospital Makassar. The type of research conducted is descriptive through data collection which is carried out by observation, the population is all prescriptions for outpatient heart disease patients at the Stella Maris Hospital Makassar in January-March 2021. Data collection is done by looking at the medical records and prescriptions of heart disease patients. which is secondary data. The conclusion of this study is that cardiovascular patients at the Stella Maris Hospital in Makassar used amlodipine more in January-March 2021 with an average percentage of 32.7%, Bisoprolol 25.8%, Candesartan 21.9%, Furosemide 13.3 %, Simvastatin 6.87%, then Nifedipine 1.25% and the least used drug Captopril 0.13%. There are more patients with heart disease in men (50.2%) than women (42.6%) in January-March 2021. Patients with heart disease at the Stella Maris Hospital Makassar are more with an age range of >60-85 years (89%) than patients with an age range of 35-60 years (11%).]]>

<![CDATA[Cold powder is one of the traditional cosmetics made from natural ingredients, processed traditionally and based on knowledge for generations. This study aims to formulate cold powder using the basic ingredients of a combination of rice starch that has been soaked for one day (F1) and for five days (F2). added starch of yam bean, curcuma and mung bean and conducted quality test preparations produced with test parameters including: organoleptic, homogenous, pH value and spread test. The results showed that F1 and F2 preparations showed uniform results and found the provisions set.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of liquid feminine cleansing soap containing tanjung leaf extract (Mimusops elengi L) and the most effective concentration. The type of research used is experimental research which is a laboratory research using a simple experimental design, namely the effectiveness of antifungal liquid soap for feminine cleansing tanjung leaf extract (Mimusp elengy L) against Candida albicans. This research will be carried out in July 2019 at the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmacy Phytemy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Pancasakti, Makassar. The results of statistical analysis using a completely randomized design method (ANAVA) showed that giving negative control of tanjung leaf extract and Resik V liquid soap as a comparison gave a significantly different inhibition zone to Candida albicans, where the zone of inhibition showed that the F value of The zone of resistance to Candida albicans is greater than Ftable at the 0.05 (3.48) level and Ftable at the 0.01 (5.99) level, it can be concluded that the liquid feminine cleansing soap from tanjung leaf extract (Mimusp elengy l) 1% w/v, 3% w/v, and 5% w/v can inhibit Candida albicans.]]>

<![CDATA[Di Indonesia, penyakit TB paru merupakan penyakit pembunuh nomor satu diantara penyakit menular dan menempati urutan ketiga dalam kategori sepuluh penyakit pembunuh tertinggi di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepatuhan minum obat pasien TB paru di puskesmas Paccerakkang tahun 2022. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian desktiprif observasional. Penelitian deskriptif ini dilakukan terhadap sekumpulan objek dimana sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien yang mengkonsumsi obat TB paru. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebanyak 66% pasien yang mengkonsumsi obat TB paru di Puskesmas Paccerakkang patuh mengkonsumsi obat.]]>
