Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Peran media online Sripoku.com dalam mendukung pemasaran media cetak Sriwijaya Post dengan rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana cara mempertahankan eksistensi media cetak sriwijaya post dalam maraknya perkembangan media online, penerapan revolusi industri 4.0 pada media cetak sriwijaya post dan bagaimana strategi media online sripoku.com dalam mendukung pemasaran media cetak Sriwijaya Post. Sumber data yaitu bersumber dari PT Sumsel Media Grafika media cetak Sriwijaya Post, teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi maupun dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara mempertahankan eksistensi media cetak Sriwijaya post dalam maraknya perkembangan media online. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan pada pihak media cetak Sriwijaya Post dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa peran media online Sripoku.com dalam mendukung pemasaran media cetak Sriwijaya Post sangat berpengaruh terhadap keberlangsungan media cetak, terutama dalam menghadapi dunia digitalisasi. Cara mempertahankan eksistensi Media Cetak Harian umum Sriwijaya Post yaitu dengan menjaga kualitas mulai dari memperbaiki kualitas kerts, kualitas SDM, dan kualitas berita, serta Konsisten dalam Memberikan berita yang berkualitas kepada Masyarakat. Dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0 media cetak Sriwijaya Post sudah sangat siap dengan menguasai sosial media dan platform digital sehingga mampu mengikuti perkembangan zaman khususnya di dunia digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi dari organisasi kepemudaan islam di UIN Raden Fatah tetang pemberitaan konflik Rusia dan Ukraina yang ada di media Tribun News.com. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah anggota organisasi PMII dan HMI yang berjumlah keseluruhan 65 orang yakni dari PMII sebanyak 40 orang dan HMI sebanyak 25 orang. Hasil analisis dari proses pengolahan data menyusun organisasi HMI hampir semua anggota berpersepsi bahwa media Tribun.News sudah meliput konflik Rusia dan Ukraina dengan sangat baik dan memenuhi standar kualitas pemberitaan yang layak, dan selanjutnya persepsi dari responden dari PMII juga hampir sama, sebagian lebih anggota organisasi PMII berpendapat bahwa media Tribun. Abstract

The development of information technology is now growing rapidly, one of which is the internet. Through the internet, the dissemination of news and information is very easy to do. But the fastest report of the latest facts or ideas that are accurate and important to society is news. Then what if the news received by the community is hoax news. So this study aims to find out about people's attitudes in understanding hoax news in Tanjung Merbu Village, Rambutan District and where did the community get this news or information. This research is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. As well as using data analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman, through activities in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results are explained based on two problem formulations, namely: (1) The people of Tanjung Merbu Village have different ways of obtaining or accessing news, namely through television, radio, magazines, newspapers, internet, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. (2) The attitude of the people of Tanjung Merbu Village regarding hoax news varies, namely by being critical such as telling others if the news is hoax so that people are not easy to believe, do not disseminate hoax news, and do not take information from the hoax news that is read, other than there are still people who do not care about the existence of hoax news. Abstract

This research is entitled "Framing Analysis of the Murder of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat by Ferd Sambo on Kompas.com." The background of this research is because the murder of Brigadier Nofriasnyah Yosua Hutabarat by Ferdi Sambo is one of the major events in the history of the police because the police shot the police and were tried by the police.The purpose discussed in this research is to find out how the news is framing related to the Murder of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat by Ferdi Sambo in online media Kompas.com. Based on the results of this study by analyzing 8 news stories, the results obtained were that related to the reporting on the Murder of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat by Ferdi Sambo, Kompas.com media tried objectively by positioning Ferdi Sambo and Putri Chandrawati to have planned the case and promised 1M money, Iphone brand cellphones for brother Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu, Ricky Rizal and Strong Ma,ruf.. Abstract

Abstract In this concept, men are synonymous with violence, active, aggressive, logical, ambitious and strong. This research was conducted to find out the meaning of semiotics regarding the nature of masculinity in the character Dallas contained in the film Below Her Mouth and to analyze what signs are contained in the film Below Her Mouth relating to the nature of masculinity from the signification into two stages or usually called the two orders of signification, namely the study of (Denotation) Denotation and (Connotation) Connotation, is a concept of Barthes's thought. The data collection techniques used were documentation studies, literature studies and online data searches. Researchers draw conclusions that almost all codes represent masculinity in the film Below Her Mouth. The codes that appear such as code of appearance, expression and setting or background have an important meaning in this film as a representation of the nature of masculinity. Other codes, such as costumes, shooting techniques, gestures, make-up, lighting and so on, function as a support to show the value of masculinity that is highlighted in the character of Dallas. Abstract

In the era of increasingly advanced digital technology, the media has become a tool or means to connect communication between individuals with one another. With the media, there is a communication process that involves conveying messages from one individual to another. Print media is one of the communication media that is very effective in conveying information. Media convergence enables professionals in the field of mass media, especially the Palembang Ekspres print media, to convey news and information as well as entertainment through various types of media that can be accessed by the public at large. The method used for this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Qualitative method is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in written or oral form from research subjects that can be analyzed. Palembang Ekspres is developing a new strategy by establishing an online portal or website to meet the needs of people who are increasingly using digital technology to read news. The challenge for the newspaper industry in the era of information and communication technology is very heavy, especially after the emergence of new internet-based media. Technological advances increase the speed at which news spreads, so that print media such as newspapers and magazines cannot compete with electronic media, television and the internet. Palembang Express strategy in media convergence by looking at technological developments is to develop an online portal or website. Keywords: Strategy, media convergence

Abstract

Abstrak This thesis is entitled “Infotainment Journalism in the Perspective of Islamic Communication Ethics (Study Analysis on Brownis Trans TV Shows). The problem raised from this research is how Infotainment Journalism in Trans TV Street Brownis Shows, how Infotainment Journalism in Trans TV Street Brownis Shows according to Islamic Communication Ethics. This type of research is qualitative, the main or primary sources are YouTube channels, live broadcasts and websites. Data collection techniques through observation and documentation and use the theory of content analysis. Data collection of most television shows The rapid digitalization in recent years has made television (TV) in Indonesia increasingly abandoned. In this research, the Brownis Jalan-Jalan infotainment provides various types of segment content ranging from social, cultural, economic, and entertainment, even with comedy nuances, adding an impression of interest to the audience who watches to entertain and educate at the same time the life experienced by people in his daily life is depicted in the Brownis Jalan Jalan (BJJ) segment. Islamic communication agrees with Jalaluddin Rakhmat who said that there are six forms of discourse (Qawlan), qawlan is someone's speech or words when communicating between humans which is understood in the Qur'an. The researcher placed qawlan in his research in the form of Qawlan Sadidan, Qawlan Baligha, Qawlan Karima, Qawlan Ma'rufan, Qawlan Layyina, and Qawlan Maysura. Abstract

Film is one of the various types of mass media where audio and visual are put together and packaged in such a way as to produce a work, namely a spectacle that is interesting and easily leaves an impression on the minds of the audience. Apart from being a means of entertainment, film is also a means of providing information, a means of educating, and also persuading the audience. Like the documentary film genre that is produced in accordance with the real facts in the field. Therefore, this study aims to find out how influential documentaries are among the public, especially documentaries on environmental issues, therefore researchers conducted research at the South Sumatran Forum for the Environment (WALHI) to find out their perspectives on the documentary film Baradwipa by Watchdoc Documentary which raised the impact of coal mining and PLTU on the island of Sumatra. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with the object of research being members of the South Sumatran Forum for the Environment (WALHI), the number of members interviewed was 5 people based on the specified criteria. The methods used in data collection include various methods including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research data sources come from theoretical books, documents and information related to the Baradwipa documentary film. The results of this study indicate that the perspective of Walhi members of South Sumatra said that the Baradwipa film was very good because it was included in a campaign movement through social media. The campaign has the advantage of being able to reach a wide audience where the campaign is broadcast via social media. As we know now, almost all people are inseparable from social media. is a new breakthrough for Walhi South Sumatra in the future.

Abstract

Journalism has many interesting sides to be made into a film. There are many films and dramas that raise the theme of journalism, one of which is the film The Journalist. The Journalist, which was first released in Japan on 28 June 2019, was directed by Michihito Fujii. The film, adapted from a novel of the same name, tells the story of a young journalist named Erika Yoshioka who is asked to investigate a case about a new university construction plan that has many irregularities in it. This research is entitled "Representation of Journalist Professionalism in The Journalist Film (Ten Elements of Journalism Analysis)". This type of research is qualitative research with the Miles and Huberman model data analysis technique. This research focuses on scenes that represent the professionalism of a journalist. In this case, the researcher used the ten elements of journalism from Bill Kovach and Tom Rosenstiel as a reference to analyse how a professional journalist works, how the journalist applies the ten elements in his work as a journalist. These elements are: submission to the truth, loyalty to citizens, verification discipline, maintaining independence from news sources, being a monitor of power, providing a public forum, making important things interesting and relevant, broadcasting comprehensive and proportional news, having to follow their conscience, and citizen journalism. The result of this research is that the film The Journalist represents the professionalism of a journalist in working based on the ten elements of journalism from Bill Kovach and Tom Rosenstiel. There are scenes that provide examples of the application of the ten elements of journalism. Erika Yoshioka's character in this film illustrates how a professional journalist works.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Application of the Photojournalistic Code of Ethics in Legal and Criminal News in Sumeks.co Online Media". The problem raised from this research is how to apply the photojournalistic code of ethics to legal and criminal news in online media Sumeks.co, how to photo news portals on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram online media Sumeks.co. This type of research is qualitative, the main or primary source is the acquisition of information in the form of words and sentences, either in the form of questions or statements. Data collection techniques through observation and documentation and use semiotic theory. Snowball sampling was used and the writer was able to gather more information to fill in the data gaps. Based on these findings, it is clear that most of the views of journalists about how the Journalistic Code of Ethics should be applied are contrary to the regulations stipulated therein. Likewise, the Journalistic Code of Ethics regulates the behavior of journalists and the media regarding the use of photographs in reporting. As with other online media, Sumeks.co will strive to comply with the Photojournalism Code of Ethics in all its reporting. However, this is easier said than done, given the nature of the Code of Conduct itself and the difficulty of coordination between journalists in the field and news editors.
