Abstract

The role of human resources (HR) in politics and human resource management (HRM), as well as the importance of community participation, especially the younger generation, in the political process to secure their voices and interests. We explain political views from the perspective of Aristotle and Prof. Miriam Budiarjo, who stated politics as an effort to achieve the common good and set goals and achieve them. Today's young generation tends to reject politics because of the existence of deviations and bad political practices in Indonesia. In fact, their participation is very important for the future of democracy and sustainable development. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to describe the involvement of the younger generation in politics. We analyze people's political participation in the context of the role of political parties and how political education can increase the political awareness of the younger generation. The results of the research show that the younger generation has a crucial role in building a strong democracy and ensuring their active participation in building a better future for the nation. Therefore, political education for young people is an important step in creating a strong democracy and ensuring the active participation of the younger generation in building a better future for the nation, even though the role of social media as a tool to participate in politics is not yet fully effective.

Abstract

The implementation of management in prospering the mosque is considered necessary to be applied in every mosque because we often find a mosque that is less productive that cannot answer the needs of the ummah and therefore the importance of an active, innovative and productive management so that the mosque can attract people to worship closer to Allah SWT. The mosque is a sacred place for Muslims that functions as a place of worship, the centre of religious activities, and the community is developed in a regular and planned manner. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach that aims to examine the ongoing or natural situation at the time of contact with the mosque. The findings show that: 1. The implementation of the management of the Al-Muhajirin mosque in the field of Idarah has not gone well where the mosque management rarely holds meetings, even though it is very important to establish good communication between administrators so that activities can run as expected. 2. The implementation of Al-Muhajirin Mosque Management in the Imarah field has not been running optimally, including the activity programme only touching on short-term planning, while planning activities in the long term there is no mature planning made by the management. 3. The implementation of Al-Muhajirin Mosque Management in the field of Ri'ayah has not gone well where the dirty mosque facilities are not well maintained. Good mosque management requires accurate management implementation so that the mosque becomes prosperous.

Abstract

Gambling is a criminal act that bets a sum of money where the winner will get all the money that is the subject of the bet. Gambling can harm society and damage the nation's morals. Gambling behavior is sustainable so that it causes curiosity even though it has lost many times, online gambling games carried out by teenagers are the result of social interactions that occur in the environment around them. Social interaction has two sides, namely positive and negative. One example of the negative impact is teenagers who participate in online gambling games.

Abstract

Umpan balik dari mahasiswa terhadap berbagai program perguruan tinggi merupakan factor penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas tata-kelolanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kepuasan mahasiswa secara empiris terhadap program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Islam Nusantara (FIKOM-UNINUS). Kepuasan mahasiswa diukur dengan tiga dimensi, yaitu manfaat yang diperoleh mahasiswa, dukungan dari kelembagaan (Fakultas dan Prodi), serta kinerja Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL). Ukuran sampel sejumlah 58 mahasiswa dipilih berdasarkan teknik acak sederhana, dan data dihimpun melalui instrument angket tertutup. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda dengan melibatkan variable boneka (dummy variable treatment). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan 47% mahasiswa merasa sangat puas dan 50% merasa puas. Kepuasan tertinggi ditujukan pada dimensi kemanfaatan KKN, diikuti kemudian oleh dukungan kelembagaan, dan yang terendah adalah kinerja Dosen pembimbing lapangan (DPL), Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa ketiga dimensi tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa peserta KKN, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Pada penelitian berikutnya direkomendasikan untuk lebih banyak dimensi yang dilibatkan, terutama yang ditujukan pada lingkungan eskternal dalam pelaksanaan KKN.
