Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Pinang Masak Abbreviated with JPM Pinang Masak (Journal of Community Service, Pinang Masak) is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Jambi (Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi, Universitas Jambi). It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research applied results that have been achieved in the area of community services. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Pinang Masak (Journal of Community Service, Pinang Masak), contains various activities of UNJA community and even from other University community, in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involves the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society. In the following year of publication, the journal is going to publish biannually (Mei and November). Any interested author could submit the manuscript following the submission guidelines. Please read these guidelines carefully. Authors who want to submit their manuscript to the editorial office of Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat, Pinang Masak (Indonesian Journal of Community Service, Pinang Masak) should obey the writing guidelines. If the manuscript submitted is not appropriate with the guidelines or written in a different format, it will be REJECTED by the editors before further review. The editors will only accept the manuscripts which meet the assigned form

Abstract

Branta Tinggi Village is located in Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency, this village consists of three hamlets/villages and about 6,889 people. With a population of 2906 men and 3,733 women, the people of Branta Tinggi Village rely on the fisheries, agriculture and entrepreneurship sectors. However, the people of this high branta village do not have the skills to utilize the moringa plant (Moringa oleifera). which grows a lot in people's yards into processed products that have high economic value, this Moringa leaf is a plant that has various economic benefits and this Moringa plant grows a lot in the yards of the Branta Tinggi village community and Moringa can be used as one of the mainstay commodities to be developed more good for supporting the economy of the community. There are several methods that will be implemented in this service, including direct field observations and approaches to education, practice and mentoring. To achieve maximum results in the innovation of Moringa leaves into processed products, the efforts that will be made by the team are to provide seminars to partners on processing Moringa leaf innovations, conduct simulations and practices of processing fresh Moringa leaves into Moringa stick products, conduct training on packaging and management. Good marketing is a way to compete without having to kill competitors related to processed products of Moringa leaf sticks and other snack foods with digital market systems or manual marketing.

Abstract

The majority of farmers in Karya Harapan Mukti Village are independent rubber and oil palm farmers (people's plantations). Generally the strategy used to increase sap production, farmers use synthetic fertilizers (chemical), but it has a negative impact on the environment and soil. The people of Karya Harapan Mukti Village complained about their low competence in agricultural production, only focusing on chemical fertilizers to increase their oil palm or rubber agricultural production. Traditionally, some people know the process of making organic fertilizer, known as compost. But the technology used is still simple, using a derrigen/bucket so that production is still very limited and less efficient. So that technological innovation is needed so that people can produce fertilizers independently, easily and cheaply. The aim of this program is to transfer bioreactor technology innovations to produce liquid organic fertilizer based on local microorganisms from rubber seeds, as well as provide training and competence to the community in processing plantation waste to produce liquid organic fertilizer that can be used to improve plantation quality. One technology that wants to be applied as an Appropriate Technological Innovation (TTG) for the people of Karya Harapan Mukti Village is through the application of bioreactor technology, it is expected to be able to introduce fermentation technology processes to the community and can increase the production of MOL-based liquid organic fertilizer as an effort to meet fertilizer needs in the community. farmers in Karya Harapan Mukti Village, Bungo Regency. Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan secara bertahap, mulai dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi, serta refleksi. Dalam kegiatan perencanaan dilakukan Koordinasi dengan kelompok mitra dan menyepakati pelaksanaan kegiatan pada kelompok mitra, Sosialisasi program pelatihan media pembelajaran pada kelompok mitra, dan menyusun program pelatihan. Pada tahap tindakan implementasi Program Pelatihan Media pembelajaran dengan Program Adobe Premiere Pro untuk guru-guru di SMP Negeri 7 Muara Jambi. Selanjut tahap observasi dan evaluasi adalah Observasi dilakukan terhadap dalam proses mendesain media pembelajaran dengan Program Adobe Premiere Pro oleh para guru mitra. Dan tahap refleksi melakukan evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan. Pelatihan dilakukan sesuai kesepakatan waktu antara tim pengabdian dan guru-guru di sekolah mitra. Kegiatan Pelatihan telah dilakukan pada tanggal 11 Agustus 2020 di SMA Negeri 7 Muara Jambi. Tahap terakhir adalah tindak lanjut dari pelatihan pemdampingan guru-guru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan Program Adobe Premiere Pro secara Online, di mana guru-guru merancang media dengan mengikuti petunjuk modul yang telah disediakan. Hasilnya guru–guru SMP Negeri 7 Muara Jambi dapat membuat media pembelajaran menggunakan Adobe Premiere Pro.

Abstract

Air mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia sehari-hari. Di Indonesia, banyak daerah mengalami permasalahan sumber air. Salah satunya di Kelurahan Mendahara Ilir, Kecamatan Mendahara, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Provinsi Jambi yang mengalami kesulitan mendapatkan air bersih. Masyarakat daerah Mendahara Ilir biasanya mendapatkan air bersih dengan cara menampung air hujan dan sumur bor yang dapat menyebabkan masalah lingkungan seperti penurunan tingkat permukaan tanah. Air laut yang sangat berlimpah dapat dimanfaatkan dan diolah menjadi air bersih dengan menggunakan teknologi membran yaitu Teknologi Reverse Osmosis (RO) yang didalamnya terdapat membran semipermeabel yang mampu melakukan pemisahan air tawar dari larutan garam dengan tekanan yang lebih tinggi dari tekanan osmosa larutan garam. Hasil dari penggunaan tekonolgi reverse osmosis, didapatkanlah hasil perubahan fisik berupa warna, bau, dan juga rasa pada air. Dengan adanya teknologi Reverse osmosis ini diharapkan masyarakat dapat mengurangi kebiasaan menggunakan air hujan dan penggunaan sumur bor/ air tanah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan tingkat permukaan tanah. Abstract

Indonesia has an HDI (Human Development Index) ranked 107 out of 185. This shows that the quality of education in Indonesia has increased but is still quite low. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Efforts to improve the quality of education is to increase the professionalism of teachers. One of the ways to improve the quality of learning by teachers is through Classroom Action Research (CAR). Based on data from the google form questionnaire distributed, it is known that 50% do not understand about classroom action research. There are even some teachers who have never done CAR. So it is necessary to conduct classroom action research workshops to provide an understanding of CAR to MGMP biology and science teachers throughout Jambi Province. This workshop is carried out online by the Zoom cloud meeting application. Participants consisted of 49 biology teachers, chemistry teachers and science teachers throughout Jambi Province. The results of this service get a positive response from the teacher and increase the teacher's understanding of classroom action research
