Abstract

Earnings management is a strategy carried out by organizations with the intention that profits in each period are always large. This is the case for financial institutions based on Islamic principles and Islamic business which, depending on their underlying motivation, use the concept of profit as the difference between income and expenses. To demonstrate the success of Islamic banks in carrying out their business operations, this study finds and examines the existence of earnings management in the financial statements of Islamic banks. Utilizing subjective expressive strategies by collecting documentary information, this study will reveal the current reality of the tasks of Islamic banks and benefit executives by supervisors. This study provides an explanation of this contradiction and a response to the issue of earnings management in Islamic banking. This study uses written studies to examine the details of the problem. Data reduction techniques such as summarizing, choosing the most important things, focusing on the most important things, and then drawing conclusions are used in the analytical method which is a descriptive qualitative method. The discussion revealed that earnings management is a common practice in Islamic banking. Using qualified and reputable auditors to review a bank's financial statements and fully implementing corporate governance are two ways Islamic banking can reduce risk. Agency theory, signal theory, and the concept of earnings management as a whole are some of the ideas that guide managers' actions in earnings management. Risk is something that is dubious in the absence of data and investigation. The term "opportunity" refers to the uncertainty that gives rise to a possible gain, while the term "risk" refers to the uncertainty that results in a negative outcome. Mitigation is a risk strategy or policy for managing financing, known as financing risk mitigation.

Abstract

Analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) adalah alat manajemen strategis yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi posisi perusahaan atau organisasi dalam lingkungan bisnisnya. Dalam industri perbankan, analisis SWOT memberikan wawasan yang penting tentang kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dihadapi oleh lembaga keuangan tersebut. Dengan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang faktor-faktor ini, perbankan dapat merancang strategi yang efektif untuk memanfaatkan kekuatan mereka, mengatasi kelemahan, mengeksplorasi peluang yang ada, dan mengantisipasi ancaman yang mungkin muncul. Analisis SWOT menjadi alat yang berharga bagi perbankan dalam mengembangkan keunggulan kompetitif dan mencapai keberhasilan jangka panjang.

Abstract

Artikel ini menggunakan studi kasus King Cafe untuk mengilustrasikan penerapan analisis SWOT untuk meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan. Penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa King Cafe sedang dalam tahap pertumbuhan dan perlu mengejar strategi yang agresif. Artikel ini menyajikan hasil dalam matriks IFAS dan EFAS, dan juga menyajikan matriks SWOT dan diagram Cartesian yang menunjukkan hasilnya. Hasil analisis kami menunjukkan bahwa kinerja perusahaan dapat ditentukan oleh kombinasi faktor internal dan eksternal. Artikel ini mengusulkan beberapa strategi, seperti menggunakan kekuatan untuk meraih peluang, menggunakan kekuatan untuk mengatasi ancaman, mengurangi kelemahan untuk meraih peluang, dan mengurangi kelemahan untuk menghindari ancaman. Aku disini. Artikel tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa perusahaan harus fokus pada pertumbuhan melalui integrasi dan diversifikasi horizontal.

Abstract

Inklusi keuangan, yang didefinisikan sebagai ketersediaan dan penggunaan layanan perbankan oleh semua lapisan masyarakat, telah menjadi agenda penting dalam industri perbankan. Artikel ini mengkaji pentingnya inklusi keuangan dan potensi dampaknya terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pembangunan sosial. Ini mengeksplorasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh individu dan masyarakat dalam mengakses layanan perbankan, seperti infrastruktur fisik yang terbatas, kurangnya kesadaran, dan kendala keterjangkauan. Artikel ini juga membahas peran lembaga keuangan, regulator, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam mempromosikan inklusi keuangan melalui strategi inovatif dan solusi berbasis teknologi. Selain itu, menyoroti studi kasus yang sukses dari berbagai daerah yang telah menerapkan inisiatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan akses ke layanan perbankan. Temuan penelitian ini berkontribusi pada wacana inklusi keuangan yang sedang berlangsung dan memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pemangku kepentingan untuk mengembangkan sistem perbankan inklusif.

Abstract

Layanan perbankan di masa pandemi Covid-19 dituntut lebih akomodatif terhadap kebutuhan nasabah. Salah satu cara untuk memenuhi tuntutan tersebut maka perbankan harus mampu optimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi yang dimiliki. Teknologi merupakan alat yang adaptif digunakan memenuhi kebutuhan nasabah di saat pandemi tanpa kontak fisik dengan pegawai bank. Salah satu bentuk layanan berbasis teknologi adalah Internet Banking (IB). Nasabah dapat menggunakan perangkat komputer desktop, laptop, tablet, atau smartphone yang terhubung ke jaringan internet sebagai penghubung antara perangkat nasabah dengan sistem bank. Sejumlah manfaat yang akan diperoleh nasabah apabila menerapkan IB yakni fitur IB dapat disesuaikan dengan aktivitas nasabah, di antaranya adalah transfer uang, cek saldo, akses produk perbankan seperti membuka tabungan berjangka, deposito, pinjaman KTA/KMG/KPR hingga membayar tagihan kartu kredit, listrik dan air. Selain itu, transaksi IB lebih murah bagi nasabah dibanding bertransaksi melalui ATM atau bank, di mana nasabah mengeluarkan biaya transport dan sejenisnya. Nasabah dapat melakukan transaksi lebih cepat dibanding dengan pergi ke ATM atau ke bank, di mana nasabah kadang harus menunggu cukup lama untuk antri. Kelebihan lainnya adalah IB mudah digunakan nasabah dimana saja dan kapan saja dengan berbagai perangkat seperti desktop, laptop, tablet atau smartphone.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of work discipline on employee performance at TK II Pelamonia Makassar Hospital. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data obtained from questionnaires distributed and related to the problem under study with a sample size of 67 people. Data were analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis method with the help of SPSS 23 data processing to prove the hypothesis. The results showed that the work discipline variable had a significant level of 0.000, which was less than 0.05. The coefficient value of 0.471 indicates a positive influence on the dependent variable. This means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected so that it can be said that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and compensation on employee organizational commitment at PT. Vale Tbk in Sorowako. This type of research is quantitative research. The number of samples in this study were 60 employees who were employees in the Maintenance Department of PT. Vale. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are validity and reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, classical assumption test, T test and F test. The results of the study after the data were processed with SPSS.23 showed that there was a positive influence between the variables Physical work environment (X1), Non-physical work environment (X2), Financial compensation (X3) and Non-financial compensation (X4) on Organizational Commitment variable (Y ) which can be shown through the results of the T test, namely the variable X1 has a t count of 3.970 > 2.004 (t table) and a sig. 0.000 < 0.05. Variable X2 has a t count of 3.254 > 2.004 (t table) and a sig. 0.002 <0.05. Variable X3 has a t count of 4.653 > 2.004 (t table) and a sig. 0.000 < 0.05. Variable X4 has a t count of 3.392 > 2.004 (t table) and a sig. 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMA) in the form of Shopee COD advertisements on Purchase Decisions in the Shopee Marketplace. This type of research is quantitative with. the population is all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University and a sample of 99 people. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The analytical method in this study uses instrument tests (validity test, reliability test), classic assumption test (normality test), coefficient of determination test, and t test. The results of the analysis found that Shopee Advertising SMMA had a positive and significant effect on decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of Quality of Work Life on Employee Job Satisfaction at PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar Container Terminal Branch. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and associative research designs. The research sample consisted of 60 employees of PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar Container Terminal Branch. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression. The results of the research after the data were processed using SPSS software showed that the Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant influence on Employee Job Satisfaction at PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar Container Terminal Branch. The simple regression equation used is Y = 27,905 + 0,292, and the relationship is significant with a p-value of 0.000, which is less than the specified level of significance (0.05). In addition, the t-count value of 2.080 is also greater than the t-table value of 2.000. Furthermore, the R Square value of 0.069 indicates that the Quality of Work Life variable contributes an influence of 6.9%, while the remaining 93.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Participatory leadership or democratic leadership style is the behavior of a leader in making decisions together with his subordinates. Participatory leadership style is closely related to government institutions where bureaucratic reform must be carried out with constitutional principles and democratic principles and promote mutual cooperation to run the organization, while organizational culture is the core value of the process of individual orientation towards a system that is within an organization, as for productivity work is the attitude and behavior of the organization's workforce towards the rules and standards set by the organization, then manifested as behavior and actions within the organization. In the initial observations made within the Balai P2P Sulawesi II to 8 divisional representatives using the LASI (Leadership Adaptibility and Style Inventory) method developed by Paul Hersey and Kenneth Blanchard regarding leader adjustment and style inventory, to determine leadership style with the result stating that style instructional leadership, namely 25% and the smallest value, namely the delegation leadership style, as much as 8%, is more dominant using a participatory leadership style, which is around 67%. The results of preliminary observations show that in carrying out leadership the Head of Balai P2P Sulawesi II is more dominant in using a participatory leadership style. The results of P Values show the number 0.000 or <0.05. This proves that participatory leadership style has a significant effect on organizational culture at Balai P2P Sulawesi II and P Values show the number 0.003 or <0.05. This proves that participatory leadership style has a significant effect on employee work productivity at Balai P2P Sulawesi II
