Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women can increase the risk of premature birth, maternal and child mortality, and infectious diseases. In Indonesia, anemia is generally due to iron deficiency. During pregnancy, it is necessary to consume a variety of foods to increase iron in the body. Pregnant women must have good knowledge about nutrition during pregnancy. The purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge of pregnant women and raise awareness of the quality of healthy life so as to prevent anemia in pregnancy. The implementation method is in the form of health education about anemia in pregnancy and early detection of anemia with health checks such as Weight, Blood Pressure and Hemoglobin. The results is to increased the knowledge of pregnant women about anemia and the results of the Hemoglobin examination were obtained from a total of 21 pregnant women, there were a small proportion who had anemia, namely 7 people (33%) and 14 people did not anemia (67%). Early detection of anemia is important for pregnant women because it can prevent complications in pregnancy.

Abstract

The living habits of the elderly at this time are lack of exercise, lack of control or sorting out healthy food and the population does not understand about the use of herbal plants for medicine. Life habits or unhealthy behavior that often causes many diseases so that many elderly have hypertension, diabetes mellitus, high cholesterol, high uric acid, and experience rheumatism. Objective: Efforts to improve the quality of life of the elderly by conducting examinations for the elderly and education about herbal plants to accompany the elderly. This activity took place in Kamawakan Village, Loksado District, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency with the target of the elderly. The method used is seminar and question and answer. Result: there is an increase in the knowledge of the elderly in Kamawakan Village about elderly health problems, the healthy way of life of the elderly and their prevention efforts which are known from the evaluation through pretest and posttest. Conclusion: There is an increase in the knowledge of the elderly about elderly health problems and prevention efforts so that it is hoped that the elderly can live healthy and can overcome elderly health problems by utilizing herbal plants.

Abstract

The low implementation of early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) in postpartum mothers is due to several things, including the lack of information and knowledge that must be done about correct breastfeeding techniques, obstacles related to services at the place of delivery and the lack of support provided by family members. The aim of the program is to increase the knowledge of postpartum mothers about early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) after childbirth in Sungai Lulut Village. Method of Implementation: This activity uses the method of Counseling and Questions and Answers about increasing postpartum mother's knowledge about early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) after delivery. Results: After the implementation of this community service activity. The conclusion is that there is an increase in knowledge of postpartum mothers about the implementation of IMD.

Abstract

After the baby is 6 months old, breast milk can no longer provide adequate nutrition. For sufficient the nutrition, baby needs mother milk companion food (MPASI). During the age of 6-24 months, that’s a period that is vulnerable to malnutrition. So that in providing MPASI, it must balanced nutritional guidelines: protein, fat and carbohydrates. The fact that occurs is that the practice of giving mother milk companion food is not appropriate, like early feeding before 6 months, the food given does not vary, limited to carbohydrates only rice, vegetables and fruit are rarely given, increase animal protein. The purpose of this community service is to increase understanding of the practice of giving milk companion food according to balanced nutrition guidelines. The method uses education and evaluated them. The results is education can increase the knowledge and commitment of participants by giving milk companion food according to balanced nutrition guidelines.

Abstract

The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia is 21.7%, male is 18.4% and female is 23.9% higher. The proportion of anemia by age 15-24 years is 18.4% (Riskesdas, 2018). Anemia during pregnancy not only affects the mother but also the fetus. Pregnant women who suffer from severe anemia are at risk for bleeding during childbirth and death. This Community Service activity is located in the working area of ​​Sungai Tabuk III Health Center, precisely in Paku Alam Village. Activities for checking Hb (blood) for pregnant women and education about anemia in pregnant women will be held on October 16, 2021. it is known that there are 6 pregnant women who take part in community service activities in Paku Alam Sungai Tabuk Village, the majority of them are of reproductive age between 20 to 35 years. There are high risk pregnant women, namely grande multipara as much as 16.67% and there are 33.33% pregnant women with anemia detected. The scope of the examination and the provision of education is limited to only one kelurahan area so that it cannot cover all pregnant women. We hope to be able to carry out similar activities for a wider reach.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia still faces nutritional problems that have a serious impact on the quality of human resources (HR). Based on the results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2013 that pregnant women's anemia is still 37.1%, babies with low birth weight 10.2%, toddlers with underweight 19.6%, and toddlers are overweight 11.8%. berbahasa inggris terdiri dari 150 kata dengan hanya 1 paragraf. It is not easy to instill a healthy lifestyle in the community where from the results of a survey of students who carry out community midwifery practices obtained data that most families in the village of Biih Karang Intan District do not know clearly how healthy behaviors where the community does not have a habit of doing light activities or sports, habits to monitor health regularly.Method: The method of implementing community service activities includes socialization to the Head of the village PKK team and kader for the implementation of community service activities regarding physical activity as a healthy community movement, namely gymnastics together. Results: The implementation of community service takes place in accordance with the planning that has been made. Gymnastics is carried out according to health standards. In the implementation went smoothly and the participants who attended were enthusiastic to follow gymnastics.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to get an overview of the role of health cadres regarding the nutritional status of adolescents and early detection of adolescent reproductive health at MAN 1 Banjarmasin. This service uses a descriptive method with a quantitative random sampling approach and pretest and posttest methods. Test data using T-Test Paired Two Sample Test Parametric and Non Parametric. The results show persistence in implementing a balanced nutritional status and detecting adolescent health problems through adolescent health cadres with an accumulated pretest value of 3,380 and an increase in posttest value of 870 to 4,250. While the results of the T-Test Paired Two Sample, the average value of the pretest was 65.00 and the posttest was 81.73. The average score increases indicating that the training has been effective in changing the attitudes, behavior and knowledge of the students regarding the importance of nutritional status and early detection of adolescent reproductive health problems. The correlation value of 0.3912 indicates that the relationship between pre-test and post-test is quite strong.

Abstract

The fishing community is one of the communities identified as poor, about 90% of the 16.2 million people are below the poverty line, the abundant marine wealth should be able to support the economy, but in reality it is not as expected. Poverty experienced by the community has an impact on the health status of the family including the inability to access health facilities, Chronic Energy Deficiency in pregnant women and malnutrition in children. Rebon shrimp is a marine product that contains multi micronutrients, has direct benefits for health and can be processed into various products. Raw rebon shrimp in the market are sold at very cheap prices ranging from Rp. 60,000- s/d 90,000/ Kilo, the fragrant and distinctive smell has its own charm, but the low knowledge of mothers in producing household processed food products, product packaging, business licensing, and marketing of products is a common obstacle to product development. nutritious and hygienic. For this reason, through this Community Service activity, training on Food Product Processing made from rebon shrimp will be carried out which can help increase family income. The main target partners include women fishermen, head of RT, head of RW, TP-PKK, Posyandu cadres, while supporting partners are the head of the West Sorong District, Department of Health, Health Polytechnic of Sorong and the Department of Industry. The implementation time is 2 days, starting on June 10, 2021 until June 11, 2021. Mandatory output results in the form of scientific publications in accredited national journals. Abstract

Language is a habit. As a habit, language is used everyday . We can use language as spoken language, written language and even sign language. As one of international language, English has to master well. One of the effort to make it happen is having English environment. This community service wants to describe about English environment in elementary school. This community service was done at elementary in Batola, South Kalimantan. The participants were the teachers from two (2) elementary schools in Batola, South Kalimantan. The result of this community service, the teachers have known how to create English environment at their school and practice it well in their school’s community
