Abstract

Pseudomonas fluorescens is a bacterial antagonist that is widely used as a biological control agent. Propagation of Pseudomonas fluorescens is mostly done with synthetic agar media. This requires an expensive cost, therefore there is a need for alternative media for bacterial propagation. This study aims to examine the growth of Pseudomonas fluorescens in liquid media of soybean cooking water. The research was carried out at the Office of the TPH Protection Coordinator for the Bojonegoro Region. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. carried out on the number of bacterial colonies. The results of this study indicate that soybean cooking water can be used as a medium for propagation of Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria and has a high bacterial density with the number of bacterial colonies of 6.5×108 CFU/ml in the first week.

Abstract

Kepuh is a species of plant from the Malvaceae family that has a large body. The distribution of Kepuh is found in Southeast Asia, especially in the tropics and subtropics. Kepuh is one of the endangered species, because it is rarely found in primary and secondary forests. In terms of utilization, it is still very limited, only planted as yard plant and garden fences. This study aims to determine the diversity of Kepuh in Lamongan district. This type of research is descriptive analytic with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are survey and observation. The results of this study are the diversity of Kepuh includes (1) the diversity of families that dominates the Fabaceae family, (2) the diversity of habitus of Kepuh that dominates is seedlings, (3) the diversity of habitats that dominates is plantations land, (4) the highest INP value of Kepuh is 28,29% in the medium category.

Abstract

The proposition is an argument or statement which has a truth value. Propositional Logic is a branch of Mathematical Logic that focuses on propositions and relations between them. Semantic tree (also known as truth tree, semantic tableau, or tableaux) is a method to grow truth-value assignment on trees. In this research article, the semantic tree method is used to analyze propositions and relations between propositions such as validity, consistency, equivalence, and logical entailment of propositions.

Abstract

Let  be the set of nonzero divisors of the commutative ring . The zero divisor graph of  is  with the set of vertices , where two distinct vertices  and  are neighbors if and only if . The value of the upper dimension and the minimum solution set (base) of the zero divisor graph  is finite. The steps to find the upper dimensions and base are from the specified ring, determine the zero divisor graph of the ring, and look for a different representation of . The set  is called the solution set if all the vertices of  have different representations of . In this study, some theorem about upper dimensions and base of the zero divisor graph of the commutative ring are discussed.

Abstract

Bacillus sp. are gram positive bacteria. Thesa bacteria are able to decompose complax compounds into simpler compounds, to reduce thze negative effects of chemical pesticides, it is necessary to develop alternative methods that are safer and environmentally friendly to control plant diseases. This macroscopic observation only looks at the colony and cannot tell whether these bacteria have an effect on plants. Bacillus sp. it includes a distinct physiological group of on-pathogenic bacteria, which are realitively easy to manipulate genetically and simple to cultuure, which strengthens their suitability for industrial purposes. Macroscopic observation of Bacillus sp. this gets the number of colonies ±20. Further observation are needed to find aot whether it is good for use for the community.

Abstract

The Zingiberaceae tribe is a plant that has the potential as a traditional medicine that is widely used by the community in curing various diseases. This study aims to determine the diversity and utilization of Zingiberaceae tribal plants as traditional medicine in Tiremenggal village. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approaches, to determine the analysis of the value of community use of medicinal plants analyzed by the ICS (Indexs of Cultural Significance) method. There are 5 families of Zingiberaceae which are used by the people of Tiremenggal village, namely ginger, turmeric, galangal, kencur and temulawak. The plant that is often used by the community as a treatment is ginger. The part that is used as medicine is the rhizome, which is mostly used to treat stomach pain, taken by mouth. Medicinal plants that are used by the community traditionally are still used today even though the preparation is done simply.

Abstract

Tea is the most widely consumed type of beverage that can be refreshing, has benefits for the body and can be enjoyed by brewing. Herbal tea ingredients can come from leaves that have a high antioxidant content and which are beneficial for the body, namely soursop leaves, lemongrass with variations of red ginger. Lemongrass and red ginger contain functional compounds that are beneficial for the body's immunity. Making tea begins with the process of finding materials, washing, drying, refining to the packaging process. The making of tea must be precise with sufficient drying process so that the color, aroma and taste are right when consumed. This herbal tea is sold at a price of Rp. 12,000.00 per box with 1 box containing 20 teabags. In conclusion, ginger can be used as an additional ingredient in the manufacture of functional drinks of soursop and lemongrass leaves.
