Abstract

Understanding Islamic education can be traced through the entire history of the emergence of Islam itself. Islamic education is a process of guidance to humans that includes physical and spiritual based on religious teachings and dogmas (Islam) in order to form the main personality according to Islamic rules in his life so that he will get happiness in the hereafter. Globalization causes such a fast and unstoppable flow and so many and varied flows of information. And the flow of information not only affects knowledge but also the values of Islamic religious education. The development of globalized customs among young people, so that religious values are increasingly abandoned, because they are considered old and outdated. The research was conducted using qualitative research types with a literature research approach. The qualitative approach was chosen considering that the purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of Islamic Education as a Solution in Facing Global Challenges. Islamic education in the ladder of globalization challenges stated above, which is carried out strategically by fixing internal problems. The point must be to design an educational model that is truly original from the basic concepts of Islam and in accordance with the socio-cultural environment of Indonesia. Facing the challenges of modernity, Islamic education must take a strategic step by first building an integrative scientific paradigm. Islamic educational institutions redesign their functions by choosing educational models that are relevant to changing times and the needs of society. The right choice is to adapt the modern educational model in the Islamic education system.

Abstract

In recent years the development of the world of technology has accelerated. One of the hotly discussed technological developments is Artificial Intelligence. Artificial intelligence is the ability of machines to imitate and perform tasks that would normally require human intelligence. This article was created to explore the future development of AI and its impact on society. This article uses the library research method, which is a research approach that collects and analyzes information published in the form of scientific literature, including journal articles, books, research reports, and other sources. From a literature study or library research, it can be concluded that the development of AI and its impact on society, namely, the impact on work and the economy, the impact on health and medical services, the impact on ethics and privacy, and the impact on education.

Abstract

The article discusses the importance of understanding the concept of Bela Negara (State Defense) and disseminating it to the younger generation in building awareness about the significance of safeguarding sovereignty, national unity, and facing various threats and challenges. The article emphasizes conceptual understanding, practical skills, and the Bela Negara attitude as key elements in shaping a resilient, responsible, and committed younger generation in ensuring national security and stability. Furthermore, the article highlights the significance of understanding that the concept of Bela Negara involves a sense of love for the homeland and cultural diversity. Recognizing and appreciating cultural diversity, local wisdom, and the values of Pancasila as the state ideology are crucial in maintaining national unity. Additionally, the article provides recommendations for enhancing the integration of Bela Negara education into school curricula and educational institutions, as well as the importance of specialized training and extracurricular activities that support the development of practical skills and the Bela Negara attitude among the younger generation. Abstract

This article provides a brief overview of the development of philosophy of science in Indonesia, highlighting the unique and original contributions of Indonesian philosophers and scientists in expanding insights and understanding of science. By bridging the gap between Western philosophical traditions and local cultural contexts, they have enriched the theories and methodologies of the philosophy of science and made significant impacts on societal development and educational improvement in Indonesia. This research employs a descriptive literature-based research method with specific analysis and criteria. The results indicate the development of local epistemology, critical thinking towards Western knowledge, the development of local concepts, reflection on the social and environmental implications of science, dialogue between science and religion/culture, as well as critical studies of technology and innovation. In conclusion, this article emphasizes the importance of the complementary relationship between philosophy and science in the pursuit of deeper knowledge and wisdom, and in leading a responsible life.

Abstract

Values ​​and Norms in the Ruwat Bumi Tradition in Guci Village, Tegal Regency, Central Java have a significant urgency for the process of social life. The values ​​and norms contained are basically a reflection of the teachings of the ancestors or ancestors which occurred due to the process of assimilation between Islam and Hinduism. This happens because there are cultures that interact with each other to produce existing systems of values ​​and norms. This tradition is a sacred tradition to preserve and protect what the earth has given to the local community, as well as respect for ancestors, religious ceremonies, giving offerings, slaughtering animals, sowing flowers, and celebrating the struggle for vegetables into a series of processes of the Ruwat Bumi Tradition carried out once a year to be precise in the month of assuyro. The method in writing scientific papers uses the descriptive literature method so that the data obtained is data sourced from scientific journals, books, and others that are relevant to the topic of writing. The results of writing this scientific work are basically the Ruwat Bumi Tradition in Guci Village, Tegal Regency, Central Java, which has a meaning that plays a role in maintaining the balance of life between the natural world and the supernatural world. Existing values ​​and norms are not far from what God has given for human survival. Respect for ancestors, diversity and tolerance, preservation of nature, religiosity, spiritualism, a sense of togetherness, respect and continuity are the basis for the formation of this culture. All of this cannot be separated from the role of the ancestors in responding to and appreciating what the earth has given them at that time. Ruwat Bumi in Guci Village is a symbol of togetherness, pride has a distinctive characteristic to make Guci Village rich in existing culture. The values ​​and norms contained in this ceremony should be able to be implemented and applied in social life so that a sense of unity and harmony between the nation and the state is created properly.

Abstract

Globalization is the process by which the world becomes increasingly connected through the exchange of information, trade and interaction between countries. The impact on local culture and traditions is significant. Globalization brings changes in lifestyles, consumer preferences, and cultural influences from other countries. The research method that can be used in articles is literature study. Literature study will involve systematic collection and analysis of various relevant literature sources, such as books, journal articles, research reports, and other related documents. This research will focus on identifying and understanding the challenges and consequences of globalization on local culture and traditions that have the potential to threaten their survival. The results of the study show that by increasing understanding and respect for local culture and traditions through the educational curriculum, integrating local cultural and traditional materials into learning in schools, and involving the community in the educational process to pass down cultural values ​​and traditions, we can succeed in preserving and strengthening local identity in facing the ever-evolving challenges of globalization.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of strengthening the younger generation through the values of Pancasila as an effort to have superior personality and noble character. The method used in this article is through a literature review, the article identifies problems and challenges in implementing Pancasila education. Emphasis on developing superior personality and noble character is an important key in building a strong young generation. Pancasila education has an important role in shaping the younger generation who have a strong moral foundation, awareness of their rights and obligations as citizens, superior personality, noble character, and a positive attitude in facing global challenges. To strengthen the younger generation through the values of Pancasila, cooperation between the government, educational institutions, families and society as a whole is needed. Consistent implementation, improving the quality of teachers, providing adequate learning resources, and integrating Pancasila values into the education curriculum are important steps in achieving this goal. With continuous efforts, the younger generation will become the backbone of nation building with integrity, superior personality and noble character.

Abstract

The concept of the Internet has become a very influential medium in spreading radical ideology around the world. This phenomenon has created significant social, political and security impacts in various countries. In this scientific work, we investigate the impact of the spread of radical ideology via the internet, the challenges faced in dealing with it, and the efforts made to overcome this problem. This research is based on a literature review and data analysis related to the internet as the main medium for spreading radical ideology. The challenges in dealing with the spread of radical ideology through the internet are complex and varied. Some of the main challenges include the lack of effective regulation, online anonymity, the rapid development of technology, and the existence of radical groups that are savvy in leveraging social media and online platforms to spread their message. Apart from that, there are also issues around privacy and freedom of speech that need to be maintained so they are not disturbed by countermeasures. To overcome this problem, various countermeasures have been carried out at the national and international levels. This includes establishing policies and regulations that limit the spread of radical ideologies, cooperation between governments, the technology industry, and international institutions, developing harmful content detection algorithms and technologies, and empowering people to understand and deal with radical narratives. Although countermeasures have been taken, challenges in dealing with the spread of radical ideology via the internet remain. In this scientific paper, we provide a comprehensive description of the negative impacts generated by the spread of radical ideology via the internet, the associated challenges, and the various countermeasures that have been undertaken. This research is expected to be the basis for the development of more effective strategies in dealing with this problem in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the disgraceful behavior that is often carried out by foster children at the Sinar Melati Orphanage, as well as examine the role of the administrators in preventing it. In addition, this study aims to determine the factors that influence preventing this behavior in foster children. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that administrators have an important role in preventing dishonorable behavior towards foster children and they also help guide and foster foster children to become more compliant with applicable rules.

Abstract

In writing scientific papers based on literature studies, it is hoped that it will be able to overcome confusion over the problem of curriculum policies which often change, which are policies from the government under the pretext of the times and technology so that the curriculum must also always experience changes. The curriculum has a dynamic nature and continues to be developed or adapted according to the context and needs of students to build competencies or abilities according to the present and the future. What is needed in the educational process in curriculum development is that it is hoped that all educational academics will be able to collaborate with the community to organize socialization for all components of society, namely the role of parents, communities and schools must place needs, opinions, experiences, learning outcomes and the interests of students as curriculum development because The curriculum is designed for the needs of learners. In the subjects there were also changes in terms of the naming of the subjects which were originally Pancasila Education and Citizenship changed their names to Pancasila Education, in the contents of the content of the lesson values also added the profile of Pancasila students as strengthening character values, implementing Pancasila personality as an example in the behavior of daily life - day. By changing the curriculum, of course, it can further improve the understanding of learning material, create a new view of learning programs that should be carried out, be more flexible, concise and efficient and be able to answer challenges in the world of education in the current era of digital technology development. So each curriculum in its implementation requires evaluation every year in order to determine the level of success of the learning process of students.
