Abstract

Pendidikan karakter di SD dapat diintegrasikan melalui bahan bacaan literasi. Olah karena itu, penting untuk mengidentifikasi nilai karakter dalam bahan bacaan literasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai karakter peribahasa nusantara dalam bahan bacaan pendidikan literasi Indonesia tingkat sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah peribahasa nusantara yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah bahan bacaan pendidikan literasi Indonesia tingkat sekolah dasar kelas tinggi. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan tiga metode, yakni dokumentasi, simak, dan catat. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan teknik padan referensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter peribahasa nusantara dalam bahan bacaan pendidikan literasi Indonesia tingat SD meliputi (1) mandiri, (2) gotong royong, (3) religius, (4) integritas, dan (5) nasionalisme. Temuan nilai karakter dapat dijadikan acuan dalam memilih bahan bacaan literasi bermuatan karakter.

Abstract

Keterampilan motorik halus sangat diperlukan anak usia dini dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, misalnya untuk menolong diri sendiri (self help) seperti memasang kancing baju atau makan dan untuk keterampilan akademik, misalnya menulis dan menggambar orang secara lengkap. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan informasi tentang optimalisasi keterampilan motorik halus dengan menggunakan bahan bekas sebagai media dalam pembelajaran pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dan dilakukan pada 10 orang guru pada 3 (tiga) Raudhatul Athfal di Kota Medan yang telah menggunakan bahan bekas sebagai media pembelajaran. Mereka diminta kesediaannya sebelum menjadi responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman (Analysis Interactive Model). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan bahan bekas dapat mengoptimalkan keterampilan motorik halus usia 5-6 dari level berkembang sesuai harapan sampai tingkat berkembang sangat baik Kata Kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Bahan Bekas, Keterampilan Motorik Halus

Abstract

Sebagai guru profesional, sangat dibutuhkan memiliki kemampuan menguasai teknologi. Kompetensi guru dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada kompetensi secara pedagogik dalam menggunakan TIK pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam pemanfaatan model pembelajaran berbasis TIK berbasisi simulasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan disekolah SD Negeri Lam Geu Eu dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 6 orang. Teknik analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan model Miles dan Huberman dengan tahap reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam pemanfaatan model simulasi berbasis TIK di SD Negeri Lam Geu Eu sudah sangat baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari guru yang telah menerapkan model simulasi berbasis TIK kedalam pembelajaran, menyesuaikan model simulasi berbasis TIK dengan tujuan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran dan karakteristik anak. Kemudian untuk mendukung penerapan model tersebut guru sudah mampu untuk menggunakan fasilitas berbasis TIK seperti computer, speakers, dan mengakses langsung media lainnya dari internet. Implikasi perkembangan teknologi pada dunia pendidikan telah menyebabkan perubahan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, sumber belajar dan teknologi pembelajaran. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi transformasi belajar mengajar, misalnya. proses transmisi data, ketersediaan sarana informasi dan komunikasi dan perkembangan teknologi digital

Abstract

Kembali populernya permainan lato-lato di akhir tahun 2022 berhasil mencuri perhatian dan ketertarikan anak-anak di Dusun Penjalinwakul untuk memainkan tradisional tersebut setelah kurang lebih 2 tahun terdampak pandemi Covid-19 dan menyebabkan dibatasinya kegiatan bersosialisasi hingga menyebabkan turunnya keterampilan sosial anak-anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perkembangan keterampilan sosial pasca pandemi Covid-19 oleh anak-anak. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi semipartisipatif dan wawancara semi terstruktur kepada anak-anak dan orang tua. Model analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Miles dan Huberman yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu pengumpulan, reduksi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah selama pandemi Covid-19 anak-anak menjadi cenderung anti sosial, frekuensi komunikasi antara anak dengan orang tua dan sebayanya serta kemampuan simpati & empatinya menjadi menurun. Tetapi dengan populernya permainan lato-lato, berhasil menarik perhatian anak-anak dan mampu mengembalikan minat bersosialisasi serta menumbuhkan keterampilan sosial yang selama pandemi Covid-19 menurun

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditulis dalam kerangka untuk melihat dan mendeskripsikan suatu alternative baru dibidang literasi dan pendidikan, seperti inisiasi perpustakaan jalanan Jakarta Book Hive dalam rangka menumbuhkan minat baca dan pendidikan literasi bagi anak-anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pendirian dan peranan dari Perpustakaan Jalanan, Jakarta Book Hive dan melihat berbagai unsur yang terkandung di dalamnya aktivisme sosial media, kerelawanan, pemanfaatan dan kemungkinan replikasi (pendirian ulang) diberbagai daerah lain dalam rangka peningkatan minat baca dan pendidikan literasi bagi anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang berfokus pada kajian literatur dan observasi digital (media sosial). Teknik pengumpulan data memanfaatkan berbagai informasi yang terekam pada akun sosial media resmi Jakarta Book Hive, akun Instagram: @jakartabookhive. Informasi yang tersaji berupa data yang dibagikan pendiri, pengelola, dan penguna dan berbagai pertanyaan dan komentar nitizen dalam sosial media. Selanjutnya untuk pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian, terkait pendirian, peranan Jakarta Book Hive dalam upaya peningkatan minat baca dan pendidikan literasi menunjukan bahwa inisiatif dan program ini diterima secara positif, bahkan dukungan juga mengalir dari berbagai pihak secara sukarela melalui aktivisme sosial. Keberaradaan Jakarta Book Hive juga terbukti berhasil dalam menumbuhkan minat baca masyarakat dan menyediakan informasi terutama bagi masyarakat sekitar. Besar kemungkinan untuk program ini bisa direplikasi diberbagai daerah lain dengan berbagai penyesuaian sesuai karakter masyarakat dan lingkungan.

Abstract

The transition from the 2013 curriculum (K-13) to the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia represents an evaluative measure aimed at enhancing the overall educational standards in the country. Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya is a non-formal educational institution program that incorporates an independent curriculum. The establishment of a strong and effective partnership between students and parents plays a pivotal role in the attainment of learning objectives within distance learning programs. Hence, the purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in the context of distance learning programs, specifically focusing on its impact on enhancing the parent-child relationship within the Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya. The employed methodology is a qualitative approach utilizing a case study design. The employed methodology for data collection encompassed participatory observation as well as semi-structured interviews conducted with both managers and parents of students. The data analysis model utilized in this study is the Miles and Huberman model, which encompasses the sequential stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of an independent curriculum has a significant impact on enhancing the relationship between children and parents during the learning process.

Abstract

The curriculum is present as a guide used by educators where the curriculum has undergone several changes as a form of adaptation to a dynamic era. One of them is by implementing an independent learning curriculum. Thus every school that has implemented an independent learning curriculum that emphasizes learning according to the characteristics of students. Because this curriculum tends to be considered new and is still being implemented in stages. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the implementation of the independent learning curriculum is carried out, find out the obstacles encountered in implementing the independent learning curriculum, and find out how the form of independent curriculum-based learning assessment at SD IT Islamic Center Deli Serdang in 21st century learning. This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) there are four policies in the implementation of the independent learning curriculum, namely the National Examination is replaced by a Minimum Competency Assessment and character survey, the National Standardized School Examination is handed over to schools, the simplification of the Lesson Implementation Plan is only one page, and the expansion acceptance of new students. 2) The implementation of the independent learning curriculum in learning is composed of several designs, starting from the introduction, core activities, elaboration, communication and confirmation and finally closing. 3) The learning assessment process at SD IT Islamic Center Deli Serdang carries out several forms of assessment, such as daily assessments in the form of questions or written notes at the end of the semester.

Abstract

The Batak’ tribe is famous for its customs that are thick with a wealth of life philosophies. Batak’ people uphold the noble values that become these traditions. One of the philosophies taught for generations by parents to their children is: "Naso matanggak di Hata, naso matahut di bohi". The sentence has the meaning of daring to say right and wrong. The aims of this research are to describe the philosophy of Toba Batak’ culture Naso Matanggak Di Bohi, Naso Matahut Di Hata, towards the character education of children as the next generation. The Method used in this research is descriptive with a literature study approach. The Result of this research is the person will dare to appear different and firm with principles. With the philosophy that has been passed down from Batak’ ancestors, children as the next generation of the nation can understand the meaning implied in it and learn a good lesson. This paper can be a useful contribution for anthropologists as a reference in exploring and understanding the philosophy of Toba Batak’ culture in character education for organization, society and socializing with others.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of the ChatGPT topic in the context of its utilization and the challenges in supporting 21st-century education and learning programs that require the development of learning media as well as mapping the risks associated with the presence of AI (Artificial Intelligence) phenomenon, specifically ChatGPT. This requires the development of learning media as well as the mapping of risks associated with the presence of AI phenomenon, specifically ChatGPT. The method used in this study is a literature review related to ChatGPT, gathered from the Google database using the Google Advanced search strategy. The keywords "ChatGPT," "education," and "learning" were used to access various publications, particularly national and international scholarly articles that discuss relevant topics. The research findings generally indicate that ChatGPT is currently popular and dynamic, and it is predicted to continue growing in the future. However, discussions specifically related to ChatGPT in the field of education and learning are still the subject of debate, with both supporters and dissenters presenting rational arguments. Several examples demonstrate the significant positive benefits of ChatGPT's presence. To avoid confusion, it is crucial to establish policies formulated by authorized entities and implement them nationally with various supporting regulations.

Abstract

This writing discusses multicultural education in Indonesian diaspora families in Türkiye. It aims to reveal the application of multicultural education in the Gelin community in Turkey as an attempt to present the identity as Indonesian and measure the understanding of Nationalism and tolerance in the families of the Gelincommunity in Turkey. This writing method uses qualitative research methods with sources Indonesian gelinwho are married to Turks and living in Turkey. The ups and downs of the application of multicultural education are passed in mixed marriages, gelins in Turkey have their own pattern regarding the application of multicultural educaion which they teach to their children. Although there are no official rules for the use of multicultural education, multicultural education is a way to help children from mixed marriages find their identities without being forced to side with two different nationalities.
