Abstract

Introduction: The spread of the COVID-19 virus is increasing, especially in Kampung Tenun, Topa Village, Baubau. Women take a big role in ensuring the health of the family. All information that is a source of improving family health becomes part of the role of women as wives, mothers and children. The purpose of this activity is to ensure that women have the correct information about COVID-19 so that their families are well educated and healthy during the pandemic. Methods: The implementation of the activity uses the community participation method with indicators of community participation in activities, namely first through counseling about covid-19 and how to prevent it, a dissertation on pre-posttest evaluation, hand washing practices and fitness exercise activities for 60 minutes with an instructor. participants totaled 30 people. The results of the counseling activity showed that after receiving counseling related to Covid-19 prevention, there was an increase in the knowledge of the women of the Topa Village Weaving Village, being able to practice good and correct hand washing and enthusiastically participating in counseling activities. fitness training hopes to become a resident's routine. We hope that activities involving women must be sustainable because women's role is very large for health starting at home (family).

Abstract

Introduction: A well-implemented family planning program can prevent maternal death through the use of contraception. The use of long-term contraceptives such as IUDs and implants is considered much more effective in reducing birth rates, but their use is still very low. The purpose of this community service is expected to be able to open insight and foster interest in fertile age couples (PUS) in making decisions to join in the use of long-term contraceptives, especially IUDs and implants. The method used is counseling to WUS and PUS who are domiciled in Loru Village, Sigi Biromaru District about IUDs and implants. The number of EFA targets in counseling was 28 people, which was then carried out on a family planning safari for counseling participants who decided to use an IUD or implant contraceptive device. The result of this community service activity is a change in attitude in choosing contraceptives after counseling, marked by 6 people deciding to use long-term IUD contraception and 9 other people deciding to use implant contraceptives. The need for contraceptive counseling that involves husbands and families, so that there are no obstacles in decision making by mothers.

Abstract

Introduction: Infant and child growth is an important part of child health surveillance. Newborn weight at birth is an important marker of maternal and fetal health and nutrition. Those who survive are more likely to suffer from stunted growth and lower IQ. The purpose of this community service activity is to be able to empower parents in the implementation and participation in monitoring baby growth. Methods: This community service was carried out at the midwife's clinic, Deby Cyntia Yun. Respondents in this service as many as 10 people. The results of the service can be seen that there is an increase in baby weight after baby massage is carried out on babies 2-6 months. Monitoring of infant growth should be carried out on an ongoing basis to improve children's health, and it is hoped that a follow-up will be carried out by the Midwife Deby Cyntia Yun clinic with the findings of growth disorders in infants. It is hoped that this service can be used as a source of information for the Midwife Clinic Deby Cyntia Yun that there are "evidence based" results about one of the midwifery interventions that can be used to increase baby's weight through the provision of massage techniques, so that it becomes a guideline in providing professional care for babies, provide health education to the baby's mother for baby health care and prevent other baby health problems that can affect the baby's growth and development through baby massage techniques.

Abstract

Introduction: The coverage of infants receiving exclusive breastfeeding in 2020 is 66.06% (exceeding the 2020 Strategic Plan target of 40%). The coverage of infants receiving exclusive breastfeeding in Central Sulawesi in 2020 is 61.9%. Although the coverage of infants receiving exclusive breastfeeding exceeds the strategic plan target, counseling related to exclusive breastfeeding must still be carried out, because reduced breastfeeding will affect the growth and development of human resources in the future. The Purpose of this community service is to increase mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. Methods: outreach activities were carried out to 30 breastfeeding mothers in Loru village using leaflets and banners about exclusive breastfeeding. Results: there is an increase in mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, where breastfeeding mothers want to give their babies exclusively breast milk. The counseling material was conveyed well, as long as the counseling participants were very active and enthusiastic in the question and answer session, the participants felt happy with this counseling, it was hoped that after counseling on exclusive breastfeeding, the baby's needs during the first 6 months after birth could be met.

Abstract

Introduction: Current health education efforts through counseling are the right and acceptable way to increase young women's knowledge about stress so that it can affect menstrual patterns. Based on the data found, it shows that changes in abnormal menstrual patterns are related to psychological stress. The purpose of this service is to increase respondents' knowledge about how to manage stress when dealing with changes in menstrual patterns. Method: the method used in this service is counseling using Power Point media. which was held at SMA Denpasar with the number of respondents as many as 30 students. The evaluation used is by conducting questions and answers between the presenter and the respondent. Results: the results obtained are that after being given counseling the students better understand how to manage stress levels in dealing with menstrual patterns. From the results of the post test evaluation given, 26 students have understood the health education provided. It is hoped that by doing this counseling the students already have good knowledge and can be applied to everyday life.
