Abstract

One of the policies implemented by the Surabaya city education office is the Arek Suroboyo School program which is often nicknamed SAS. The Arek Suroboyo School Program is a type of program that has freedom to learn, both freedom for teachers to express their creativity and freedom for students when receiving learning. To find out whether this program has an influence or not in the world of education, we need to implement it. This research aims to determine the results of the implementation of the Arek Suroboyo School (SAS) program at the Simokerto 1-134 Surabaya State Elementary School, whether the school is able to create a school environment that can shape student character, hone creativity and active knowledge of students with comfortable and comfortable learning. pleasant. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, literature study, and interviews with several stakeholders at SDN Simokerto 1-134 Surabaya which is currently running the Arek Suroboyo School (SAS) program. The implementation carried out at SDN Simokerto 1-134 Surabaya is already underway with various activities to support the Arek Suroboyo School (SAS) program.

Abstract

Research on evaluation of private reading program in improving students reading ability at Kusuma Putra elementary school uses the policy evaluation theory by William N. Dunn based on six basic characteristics of evaluation, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, discretion, responsiveness, and accuracy. The research was conducted at the Kusuma Putra Elementary School, Surabaya City, East Java. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of private reading program by college students of Kampus Mengajar 6 on the student at Kusuma Putra Elementary school. The research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research. Data were collected by observation, interview, and literature studies on previous research. The results of the studyindicate that the implementation of private reading has not fully achieved the desired goal due to lack of students awareness of the importance of reading skills.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the actions taken to address children who have dropped out of education in the Pucang Sewu Village, particularly by involving the Community Learning Center (PKBM). This program has been designed to provide educational opportunities for individuals who cannot access or complete formal education. The research method used is a survey to identify children who have dropped out of education in Pucang Sewu Village and to understand the actions taken by the village authorities in addressing this issue. The research findings indicate that the primary reasons children drop out of education in Pucang Sewu Village are parental separation and life situations without parents. From the analysis, it can be concluded that the village authorities have made efforts by providing assistance through the PKBM Program to these children so that they can obtain the necessary qualifications. Therefore, active participation of the village authorities in addressing the issue of out-of-school children is crucial, so that they have the opportunity to obtain the necessary qualifications and subsequently secure decent employment.

Abstract

Being a village with an extraordinary amount of waste production makes the Bambe village government collaborate with several parties in carrying out TPSt development and waste management. This study aims to find out how the process of cooperation that occurs between the Bambe Village Government, the community, and academics that occurs at the Bambe Village TPSt in waste management. The research method used in this study is qualitative. Data collection using literature review, and observation. Based on the findings found by researchers, the cooperation process is still not very good because there are still various obstacles in the process.

Abstract

Coastal environmental conditions have an impact on the economy of residents around the coast. It is hoped that environmental conditions that border directly with sea waters and the Madura Strait will have an impact on the economy of local communities who utilize natural resources. The risk of uncertain environmental conditions causes the Kenjeran coastal community to experience various impacts, both good and bad. The government should also play a role as a facilitator in the situation of communities experiencing difficulties. Therefore, this research analyzes how the impact of the coastal environment on Kenjeran Beach can affect the economy of coastal communities. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The results of the research show that there is an impact of coastal environmental conditions on the economy of the coastal community of Kenjeran Beach.

Abstract

Money Politics is an attempt to bribe voters by providing money or services so that voters' vote preferences can be given to a briber. Political money is no longer surprising, it is a common thing that happens when it comes to elections, parties do various things to get votes from the people, this political money has been passed down from generation to generation. Violations that often occur during elections include the widespread practice of money politics. Money politics is considered a practice that injures democracy. Elections are a big party in democracy where every citizen is free to give their voting rights to the parties that are nominating. In the lead up to the election, many candidates are chosen by the party to take part in the community by giving gifts. This is what we often refer to as "Money politics", this cannot be avoided, because of this people become unstable in their choices. The aim of this research is to find out the political challenges in general elections, find out what factors cause the practice of money politics in general elections and to find out how to face these political challenges. The research method used by the author is a qualitative method, which is descriptive research and tends to use analysis. The aim is to explain a phenomenon in as much depth as possible by collecting data in as much depth as possible, with greater emphasis on the depth of the data obtained. Students have an important role in fighting money politics. As students who study politics, it is only natural that they can form public awareness by providing political education or education for the community or others around us about the importance of integration in politics, and encouraging transparency and accountability in general elections and so that they are more aware of the dangers of money politics so that with Education to the public will increase people's understanding of the dangers of money politics and they will be wiser in choosing a good and wise leader. And society will not be more easily influenced by using political money. By getting involved in anti-money politics campaigns and fighting for policies that reduce corruption and the influence of money in politics, students can help create a more just and democratic political system.
