Abstract

Hypertension occurs when blood pressure exceeds normal limits, with a systolic pressure typically around 140 mmHg and a diastolic pressure around 90 mmHg. One approach to managing blood pressure involves a combination of modern therapies and the utilization of traditional herbal remedies. This study is a literature review aimed at gathering data and sources related to a specific topic from various sources, including journals, books, the internet, and other published works. Several herbal plants, such as dates, boiled celery water, moringa leaves, papaya leaves, ginger, garlic extract, cucumber juice, and carrot juice, can serve as traditional remedies to lower blood pressure. Hypertensive patients may consider using traditional (non-pharmacological) medicine as an alternative for blood pressure reduction.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of children's language skills, especially in the categories of children's listening skills and speaking skills. This research aims to find out the level of language skills of children aged 4-5 years at TK Pelangi Medan For Academic Year 2022/2023. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection method used observation sheets aimed at children, the subjects in this research were 4 children in class A Matahari At TK Pelangi Medan. Based on data analysis from 4 respondents, 2 children still have difficulties in language skills, especially in listening skills and speaking skills, 1 child's language skills are already good, and 1 child's language skills are starting to be good.

Abstract

Machine Learning (ML) has profoundly impacted various domains, including speech recognition, healthcare, and automotive safety. Acknowledging its pervasive influence, our project aims to harness ML's capabilities for housing price prediction. In the volatile real estate market, prospective buyers strive to make informed decisions within budget constraints, often hindered by the absence of reliable future market trend forecasts. Our project's primary goal is to provide accurate house price predictions, mitigating potential financial losses. To achieve this, we are developing a housing cost prediction model employing ML algorithms such as Linear Regression, Decision Tree Regression, K-Means Regression, and Random Forest Regression. This model empowers individuals to invest in real estate without intermediaries. Our research highlights Random Forest Regression as the most accurate model, offering a promising avenue for confident real estate investment.

Abstract

Emotion recognition in speech is a key research topic in human-computer interaction. Understanding emotions in conversations can shed light on a person's well-being. This study introduces a hybrid architecture that combines acoustic and deep features for improved speech emotion recognition. Acoustic features like RMS energy and MFCC are extracted from voice records. Additionally, sound spectrogram images are processed using deep networks like VGG16 and ResNet to obtain deep features. These are merged into a hybrid feature vector, refined by the ReliefF algorithm. For classification, the Support Vector Machine is employed. Testing on datasets like RAVDESS and EMO-DB yielded accuracy rates up to 90.21%. Our method consistently outperformed existing techniques in accuracy.

Abstract

The pattern of leadership is an important factor in advancing leadership. The degradation of cultural values as a result of modernisation is a barrier to establishing cultural leadership. One of the challenges is the electoral system, as is the reliance on ancestor involvement. For cultural leadership patterns, dynastic and authoritarian leadership are in the forefront. The purpose of this study is to promote the development of cultural leadership. According to the findings, adjustments to leadership style are critical; the development of culture-based leadership also entails the ability to modify leadership styles that are consistent with current cultural norms and rules. Direct and open communication reduces conflict and improves artistic performance. Cultural leaders are carried on over generations, from parents to children, ancestors, and Birthright.

Abstract

Soy milk powder is one of the natural products used to diversify liquid soy milk. One of the drawbacks of processed soy milk is its bland taste or odor, which necessitates the addition of essence in the form of red ginger extract. The objective of this research is to determine the best treatment based on organoleptic characteristics, specifically using the hedonic method or panelist preference test. This research employed a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, each replicated 3 times: S0 = 500 ml soybean juice, S1 = 500 ml soybean juice + 20 ml red ginger extract, S2 = 500 ml soybean juice + 30 ml, and S3 = 500 ml soybean juice + 40 ml. The organoleptic test results for soy milk powder revealed that the aroma preferred most by the panelists was found in treatment S3 with a score of (3.9), the taste preferred most by the panelists was also found in treatment S3 with a score of (4.4), and the color preferred most by the panelists was found in treatment S0 with a score of (4.1).
