Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is something that is very important in a company because it can affect whether or not a company is good. Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) XYZ is a business unit engaged in the food sector, namely making tofu such as skin tofu, milk tofu, wet tofu, etc. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between work motivation and work discipline on employee performance. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, namely discussing the company's problems with work discipline and work motivation on employee performance. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 15 employees at MSMEs XYZ. Based on the research that has been done, from the results of the partial test (t test) that the Work Motivation variable (X2) has an effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a significant value of 0.048 <0.05 because the significant value of t count is smaller than t table.

Abstract

Financial Distress is a phenomenon that shows a downward trend in a company's financial performance and is an early stage before bankruptcy. This study aims to examine the effects of profitability, leverage, interest rates, and inflation on the possibility of financial distress in the property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the IDX. The population in this study was the property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2010-2018 period, and the sample selection method used was a purposive sampling method and obtained a sample of 153 companies. The method of data analysis was performed using logistic regression analysis with the E-Views 9 program. The results of this study show that profitability and leverage affect financial distress, while interest rates and inflation do not affect financial distress.

Abstract

The high competition in the coffee shop business and promising opportunities make Neira coffee shops able to adapt and develop their business. This study aims to evaluate the business strategy of the Neira coffee shop with a canvas model business approach as well as to design a new business model through five porter analysis and SWOT analysis including identification of internal and external factors. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with indept interview method. The results of this research show that the development of a business model in seven blocks on the canvas business model, namely the development of the customer segment is a type of professional worker or entrepreneur. In Customer Relationship, the development obtained is push notification email/ WhatsApp; Revenue Streams development is a consignment fee; Key Resources development is a customer database; Key Activity development is a continuous online promotion; Key Partnership development is namely partnering with bakery shops; and development on the Cost Structure is the cost of developing innovation

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of  company size and financial distress on going concern audit opinions with opinion shopping as moderation variables. The population in this study are companies with types of manufacturing industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2016 to 2018. The sample was obtained using a purposive random sampling method. Data analysis uses logistic regression and different absolute values. The results showed that company size and financial distress affected going concern audit opinions, opinion shopping did not affect company size on going concern audit opinions and opinion shopping affected financial distress on going concern audit opinions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job performance appraisal, work experience and personality on employee career development. The populations in this study were 78 employees of PT. Sunggong Logistics. The sample used was 78 employees. The sampling method uses saturated sampling technique. The data collection method used survey method with the research instrument was a questionnaire. Methods of data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the analysis show that the job performance appraisal, work experience, and personality have a positive and significant effect on career development. Suggestions for the management of PT. Sunggong Logistics to make improvements during job performance appraisal and to include employees in job training to improve employee skills and for all employees of PT. Sunggong Logistics for employees of PT. Sunggong Logistics is recommended to create a comfortable work environment, and build good communication for fellow employees and with the stakeholders involved.

Abstract

Smoking is one of activities that is deeply rooted in Indonesian culture so that the economic contribution from this actvities is quite significant in the Indonesian economy. Along with the development of various policy discourses that counter the development of the tobacco industry and processed tobacco products, such as an increase in excise rates for tobacco (CHT) also there is shock of pandemic situation, the sustainability of local tobacco industry needs to be a concern and also has to be prompted the urgency to expand the market to another countries through export activities. This research aims to measure the impact of the potential utilization of tobacco and processed tobacco commodity export activities by considering production capacity, available policy frameworks, and challenges that faced by industrial actors. By using quantitative approach through  the calculation of Input-Output Tables, as well in-depth literature studies on the eport regulatory framework in Indonesia and in other countries also related studies on the opportunities and challenges of tobacco commodity exporters,this research succeeded in providing several findings. By considering the scale of production and eksport opportunities in trade balance deficit countries for tobacco commodities and their derivative products, the measured export potential is in the range of 17.5 bilion – 34.9 bilion USD, which 17.5 bilion USD if Indonesia export to countries with trade deficit ba;ance which has income per capita lower than Indonesia and 34.9 bilion USD when Indonesia is able to export to 20 major countries with the largest trade deficit balance. Policies that need to be taken to archieve this potential include uniformity of commodity quality standarts with international standards, encouraging production incentive policies through subsidy scheme and capital goods grants, and reducing export duties on several suppoting components of tobacco production and its derivatives.

Abstract

This research analyses the dynamic relationship between sharia stock exchange (ISSI) and macroeconomics condition then it would be compared to the relationship of the composite stock exchange (IDX Composite Stock). The method used in this study is Dynamic Conditional Correlation (DCC) analysis. Based on DCC method, it seems that macroeconomic variable have changing pattern of correlation relationship. This changeable pattern is not only on value scale but until its number sign. It indicated that macroeconomic variable has not any significant impact on sharia stock index (ISSI) and IDX composite index and vice versa.

Abstract

This study is aims to develop a TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) by integrating a VAM (Value-based Adoption Model), PAM (Pos Acceptance Model) and security perceptions. The frameworks of the theories are expected to deeper explain the perspective perceived by fintech services users in terms of security, perceived value, benefits and satisfaction in using fintech. Survey through a quantitative approach combined with explanatory research in Madiun Residency are used in this research. The results showed that all hypotheses proposed in this study were accepted. Security is the main requirement for people to continue or discontinue using fintech services. Perceived value is a comparative result influenced by the amount of sacrifice made and the perceived benefits. People who are satisfied and tends to assume that the fintech service is valuable, will have a tendency to continue using the fintech service. Therefore, it can be concluded that TAM, VAM, PAM and security perceptions are a unified whole in understanding one's behaviour in adopting technology such as fintech servicces.

Abstract: This study aims to examine shopping lifestyle, fashion involvement, store atmosphere as an antecedent of impulse buying behavior. The research population has made repeat purchases at the Matahari Department Store Malioboro Mall, Yogyakarta. The sampling method uses purposive sampling, with a total sample of 115 respondents. The data analysis method uses Descriptive Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Abstract

The world has been changed and globalized with technology's revolution with communication and the spread of information, while social media is now known as an important part of marketing strategies. Instagram is one of the social media platforms that most people use. Nike is one of the market leaders sneakers brand in the world but in Indonesia, there is a decreasing band index of Nike in the last three years. Therefore, the researcher conducted a study to analyze the factor that could influence customer purchase decisions and focused on Nike brands. This study using celebrity endorsement, Instagram advertising, E-WOM, perceived quality as the X variable with brand awareness as a mediating variable. This research used a quantitative method using PLS-SEM to analyze the respondent (n= 305) who in age 20-40 which is the Millennials generation. The result showed that perceived quality did not significantly influence both purchase decision and brand awareness. Whereas celebrity endorsement, Instagram advertising, and E-WOM significantly influence consumer purchase decisions and brand awareness. This research also found that brand awareness has a positive relationship with the purchase decision.
