Abstract

Financial markets are highly reactive to events and situations, as seen by the very volatile movement of stock values. As a result, investors are having difficulties guessing prices and making investment decisions, especially when statistical techniques have failed to model historical prices. This paper aims to propose an RNNs-based predictive model using the LSTM model for predicting the closing price of four stocks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX). The data used are historical closing prices provided by ISX for the period from 2/1/2019 to 24/12/2020. Several attempts were conducted to improve models training and minimize the prediction error, as models were evaluated using MSE, RMSE, and R2. The models performed high accuracy in predicting closing price movement, despite the Intense volatility of time series. The empirical study concluded the possibility of relying on the RNN-LSTM model in predicting close prices at the ISX as well as decisions making upon.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of promotion on brand image to decision to be astudentofUniversity ofMercu Buana.This research have limitation that focus on facultyofeconomicsandbusiness Regular Class in Campus Meruya. With a spread of 259 questionnaires where divided withproportional method are 138 (Management S1), 98 (AccountingS1), 9 (Management D3), 13 (AccountingD3). Based on the results of data processing with AMOS obtained evidence that there is a statisticallysignificantpositiveeffectbetweenPromotionwithBrand Image.Similarly,BrandImagewithDecisiontobeastudentofUniversityofMercuBuanaandPromotionwithDecisiontobeastudentofUniversityofMercuBuana. Abstract

Innovative and adaptive to face new business challenges by making the process of creating added value for the company. Integrated Reporting is a reflection of the efficiency and effectiveness of various types of corporate capital. The main focus of the implementation of integrated reporting is on transparency and optimizing stakeholder interests, namely in the field of corporate governance. This study aims to examine the effect of the implementation of the Islamic corporate governance mechanism on integrated reporting. The sampling in this study was purposive sampling with the results of 12 Islamic banks. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis. The result of hypothesis testing is the characteristics of independent commissioners consisting of the number and frequency of audit committee meetings have a positive and significant effect on improving the quality of integrated reporting. characteristics of the audit committee consisting of the number of audit committees, audit committee education, and the frequency of audit committee meetings have a significant effect on increasing integrated reporting quality. sharia supervisory board consisting of the number, education and frequency of sharia supervisory board meetings have an effect on increasing integrated reporting quality, except for the variable number of sharia supervisory boards

Abstract

Suatu perusahaan didirikan bukan untuk mengalami kebangkrutan, untuk itu diperlukan suatu alat yang dapat digunakan sebagai sistem peringatan dini. Salah satu alat tersebut adalah Z-Score altman yang berguna untuk memprediksi kinerja keuangan perusahaan, kinerja keuangan yang buruk dapat memicu kebangkrutan. Kondisi perusahaan yang baik mencerminkan kinerja keuangan yang baik, sebaliknya kondisi keuangan yang buruk mencerminkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan tersebut buruk. Faktor – faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi Z-score adalah EBIT, penjualan dan nilai buku hutang perusahaan. EBIT adalah kemampuan perusahaan dalam mengelola keuangan. Dengan EBIT naik maka perusahaan akan mendapatkan keuntungan yang cukup tinggi setelah dikurang bunga dan pajak. Penjualan berpengaruh pada pemasukan. Tingkat penjualan tinggi diiringi dengan naiknya biaya operasional, oleh karena itu manajemen haruslah mampu mengalokasikan dana sebaik mungkin sehingga biaya dikeluarkan perusahaan tidak melebihi keuntungan yang diperoleh. Adanya kenaikan pada nilai hutang lancar maka nilai modal kerja semakin kecil. Jika nilai hutang jangka panjang mengalami kenaikan dan semakin besar maka beban perusahaan ikut meningkat dan besar.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of Packaging, Brand Awareness and Consumer Culture to Brand Image. The object of this research is consumer of Aqua in Jakarta. This research was done to 100 respondents by using accidental sampling technique and using the SPSS 22.00 program as a data processing. The result of this research shows that either simultaneouslyor partially, the variable of Packaging, Brand Awareness and Consumer culture influence the Brand Image of Aqua In Jakarta. It has been proven from the result of (f) simoultant test and the result of (t) partial shows significant point of three independent variables that supports the hipothesys. Therefore, the accepted assumption is, there is influence between Packaging, Brand Awareness, and Consumer Culture to Brand Image of Aqua in Jakarta. Keywords: packaging, brand awareness, consumer culture, brand image.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is something that is very important in a company because it can affect whether or not a company is good. Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) XYZ is a business unit engaged in the food sector, namely making tofu such as skin tofu, milk tofu, wet tofu, etc. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between work motivation and work discipline on employee performance. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, namely discussing the company's problems with work discipline and work motivation on employee performance. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 15 employees at MSMEs XYZ. Based on the research that has been done, from the results of the partial test (t test) that the Work Motivation variable (X2) has an effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a significant value of 0.048 <0.05 because the significant value of t count is smaller than t table.

Abstract

This researach aims to examine and analyze the effect of salesperson, product, price and their impact to customer satisfaction as wel as its impact to customer loyalty. Population of this research  is 185 active customers of PT. Bank Maybank Warung Buncit Branch. The method used in this research is analysis of  two paths. On the first path is the influence of salesperson, product, and price to customer satisfaction. The second path is the influence of salesperson, product, price and customer satisfaction to customer loyalty. The result of this research shows that salesperson, product, and price have significant effect to customer satisfaction. This research also show that salesperson, product, price and customer satisfaction have significant effect to customer loyalty. Based on research results, to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, company needs to improve salesperson, product and price strategy. In future researh, researcher suggested to put other variables such as word of mouth, promotion, etc.

Abstract

Manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector in 2015-2019 show corporate profit figures that fluctuate yearly. With this phenomenon, companies must strive to increase profits through cost management and know the factors that significantly influence the level of Return On Assets. This study aims to determine the effect of Accounts Receivable Turnover, Inventory Turnover, and Current Ratio on Return on Assets. The population of the food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2019 is 130, with a sample of 70 using a purposive sampling technique. This study uses quantitative causal analysis. The results of this study indicate that Accounts Receivable Turnover (X1) and Inventory Turnover (X2) has a significant negative effect. In contrast, the Current Ratio (X3) significantly positively affects Return on Assets.

Abstract

Sampah eletronik (ewaste) adalah limbah yang berasal dari peralatan elektronik yang telah rusak, bekasdan tidak dipakai lagi.Sampah elektronik adalah limbahyang pertumbuhannya paling tinggi tiap tahunnya.Sampahini mengandung material dan logam yang berharga disamping itu mengandung bahan berbahayadan beracun (B3) yang dapat merusak lingkungan jika sampah ini tidak dikelola dengan baik. Karenasifatnya tersebut, banyak kasus ekspor sampah elektronik dari Negara maju ke Negara berkembang atauNegara miskin.Reverse logistics merupakan kegiatan pemanfaatan nilai dari produk yang sudah tidakterpakai. Implementasi yang tepatdarisistem reverse logistics(RL)dapat menghasilkanpengurangan biayaoperasional karena menggunakan kembali atau rekondisidaribeberapabagian selain mengerukkeuntungan.Halinisangatpentingbagiindustriindustri dengan produkproduk yangbersiklus hidupprodukpendek,sepertiindustriteleponseluler.Sampel penelitian ini adalah supplier chain perusahaan telepon selular.Dari hasil penelitian dapatdisimpulkan bahwa para wholesaler dan service centre tidak tertarik dengan kegiatan reverse logistics,sedangkan retailer tertarik melakukan kegiatan tersebut namun kegiatan ini justru memberikan dampaknegative terhadap kinerjasupplier chaindi Indonesia.Dampak negatif ini terjadi karena kegiatan reverselogistics menyita energy yang cukup besar namun dari sisi keuntungan tidak maksimal dibandingkan jikamenjualprodukbaru.

Abstract

As a developing country, SMEs play an important role in Indonesia’s economy development. The prevalence of food and beverages SMEs in Indonesia is on the rise and on a tight competition, specifically coffee business. Inevitably, for the last couple of years, the number of new SMEs focusing on coffee beverage business is on the rise. Gaining a competitive advantage is essential for SMEs to achieve sustainability and profitability. There has been a dearth of studies on researching the importance of strategic human resource management to gain competitive advantage specifically for SMEs. Thus, this study aims to fill the gap in the literature on the topic and aims to assist entrepreneurs and SME founders in gaining competitive advantage through strategic human resource management. This study explores Kopi Soe, one of the most successful and leading coffee beverage SME in Indonesia on how Kopi Soe has been strategically manage its human resource to gain competitive advantage among its competitors. This study utilizes in-depth interview to collect data as qualitative method with Kopi Soe’s founders and employees to capture the human resource experience and how effective human resource management has been successfully putting them as the top coffee beverage SME in Indonesia in two years. The study found that Kopi Soe’s high involvement of human resource management positively increases competitive advantage through both innovative performance and entrepreneurial performance. Moreover, since most of the employees are millennials, this study also includes managerial implications on how to manage millennials in SMEs.
