Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country that has no less than 4,000 types of trees. Potential tree species estimated 400 botanical species (species), included in 198 genera (genus) of the 68 tribes (families). Anatomical features include composition, shape, and size of cell or tissue intruders, which can only be observed clearly by using the aid of a magnifying glass like a magnifying glass or microscope. Along with the development of computerized technology, pattern recognition has much to do with a variety of applications and algorithms. One technique to identify an image is to distinguish the texture are the basic components forming the image. This study developed a computer-based technologies to perform pattern recognition (image). The system uses image recognition wood type pore structure of the wood. The introduction of wood types to apply the concept of content-based image retrieval (CBIR) using the algorithm Eigenimage. Identification is done by pattern matching. The test results by using 129 sample, showed the percentage of the system's ability to identify the image timber correctly by 97% (sensitivity), the percentage of the system's ability to recognize the type of wood does not match the sample, 58% (specificity), positive predictive value of 90% (PPV), a negative predictive value of 83% (NPV), and accuracy rate of 89% with an error rate of 11%.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is an interactive technology that combines the real and digital world in two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms and projected in a real environment at the same time. Attractive and effective learning media is needed to improve students’s understanding of material, especially if the material requires access to physical objects such as microcontroller learning. By utilizing AR technology, physical objects can be replaced with interactive three-dimensional models. The Mobile based AR application that has been developed in this study as microcontroller learning media was built using the latest AR platform from Google ARCore, that utilizes smartphone cameras to detect flat surfaces, then the selected three-dimensional microcontroller models will appear on the surface without the need to use markers. The developed AR application also has an interactivity feature between users and a three-dimensional model, by generating information of the user selected microcontroller components.

Abstract

Recommender system is a component which has been developed for online commerce purposes. In this issue, one of the popular methods that has been widely used is collaborative filtering. However, this method has some drawbacks and needs to be improved. Therefore, in this research a combination of Collaborative Filtering (CF) and hybrid jiang-conrath method has been compare with original CF, and the result expected reducing some deficiencies on the original collaborative filtering method. Based on the performance tests, the results conclude that the combination can reduce some weaknesses on the original collaborative filtering, especially on the cold-start item and sparsity issue.

Abstract

Copyright infringement, especially the use of illegal computer (software) programs, is common in Indonesia. According to the BSA report in the 2011 Global Software Piracy Study which was released on May 15, 2012, found 59 percent of computer users in Indonesia claimed to do software piracy. The Indonesian Ulama Council as one of the Islamic religious institutions in the State of Indonesia has issued a fatwa number 1 / MUNAS VII / MUI / 15/2005 concerning the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights, which contains several considerations, the legal basis and the mafsadat caused. This study takes the scope of copyright violations of computer programs in the world of education that are loaded with the use of various computer programs. The education world should be free from this copyright infringement behavior. To find out the legal reality in the community in this case the academic community, this study uses a type of quantitative research or survey research with a quantitative data analysis approach. This study takes direct data with a questionnaire about the perspective of students in Yogyakarta about the behavior of using computer programs that violate copyright and how the governing law can affect the community. The results of this study are understanding of FATWA MUI No. 1/MUNASVII/ MUI/15/2005 concerning IPR Protection does not affect IPR violation behavior.

Abstract

The potential for fires increased at this time. Many factors cause fire, both small sale and large scale, such as forest fires. Early detection of fire is one of the right solutions. The Research about detection fire use any methods, you can use UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), Android devices, and other technologies that are mostly based on image processing. This is one of the research based on image processing with fire objects. Fire image will be processed in the features extraction with the source of the fire coming from the candle. The candle is used as a detection object because the color characteristics of the fire in the candle as same as a larger scale fire. The method used is feature extraction based on colour extraction in HSV color space (Hue Saturation Value) and RGB color space (Red Green Blue). The result of this research are parameters of each color space for fire detection, there are HSV color space get 0,2≥Hue≥0,1; 0,85≥Saturation≥0,5; and 1≥Value≥0,9, and also for RGB color space get 255≥Red≥230; 250≥Green≥100; and 130≥Blue.

Abstract

Ternate adalah sebuah daerah yang berada di bawah kaki gunung api Gamalama pada sebuah Pulau Ternate di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Ternate sendiri merupakan sebuah daerah yang mempunyai segudang tempat wisata diantaranya seperti wisata alam, wisata pantai serta wisata sejarah ada di Ternate, dari beberapa wisata di ternate terkadang pendatang/pengunjung yang ingin mengunjungi wisata yang di inginkan sering kebingungan melakukan pemilihan rute dengan jarak terdekat untuk bisa sampai ke wisata tujuan mereka. Salah satu jalan keluar/ pemecahan masalah yang di gunakan untuk mengatasi persoalan ini adalah dengan di dibuatnya perangkat system pencarian jalur terpendek untuk pemilihan rute terdekat ke sebuah tempat wisata daerah. Algoritma penentuan jalur terdekat wisata daerah yang di gunakan adalah algoritma greedy.

Abstract

Education is the most important thing to educate the nation's life, but there are still many students who fail because of constrained tuition fees, in order to overcome this, the University of 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta provides internal scholarship assistance to students in the form of Student Study Assistance (BSM) scholarships and Scholarship Improvement Scholarships (PPS). Many students apply for scholarships each year. The criteria for submitting scholarships tend to be similar every year, resulting in data being used to assess repetitions or having similarities between old data and new data. Case Based Reasoning (CBR) is a system that aims to solve a new case by adapting solutions found in previous similar cases. To simplify the process of determining the type of scholarship obtained by students, Case Based Reasoning is used. Similarity calculation for the case of determining the type of PPS and BSM scholarship using Euclidean Distance Similarity. The results of the K05 case similarity calculation are similar to the K02 case, the similarity value obtained is 0.86727, so the K05 case will get a PPS scholarship

Abstract

The increasing number of internet users in the world and the rise of web phishing. Based on the Wearesocial report, there are several facts which include the number of world internet users that have reached 4.021 billion people. explained that of the hundreds of millions of internet users in Indonesia, 60 percent have accessed the internet using smartphones. Internet usage is dominated by socializing activities in cyberspace. Evidenced by the large number of world social media users, reaching 3,196 billion users. But with the rise of internet users and social media accompanied by the proliferation of phishing webs. The purpose of this attack is to make users believe that they interact with the official virtual or online site in question. Generally the information sought is in the form of a password, account or victim's credit card number. by way of being directed to a fake web or sending an email, banner or pop-up where the victim is asked to give his personal information. In this study C.4.5, Neural Network and K-Nerest Neighbor algorithm comparison will be conducted to determine the performance of the algorithm in detecting webphising by using classification techniques. Based on the model testing based on the Naïve Bayes method, Decision Tree C.4.5, K-NN, Neural Network uses the Weka framework v.3.8.2. The results of the Decision Tree C.4.5 algorithm have a higher level of accuracy with 89.66 percent accuracy.

Abstract

Searching for the right editor in the Editor Education Forum needs the right analysis so the editor's selection really fits the criteria that later can publish good quality books. Therefore, determining the editor for book editors requires a structured and systematic procedure that can be accounted for, namely through selection. This research was conducted to find a solution that can help the manager in selecting a prospective language editor. The method used to select prospective editors is using the TOPSIS method. This method is one method of decision making that is widely used to select practical decision making. TOPSIS has a concept where the chosen alternative is the best alternative that has the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and the farthest distance from the negative ideal solution. With the Application of Support Systems this decision can help and facilitate the manager to select prospective editors who are in accordance with their respective fields. The final result of the calculation on the decision support system application is displaying ranking as a reference in giving a decision.

Abstract

Decision Support Systems or Decision Support Systems (DSS) are defined as interactive computer-based systems, which help decision makers to use data and models to solve unstructured problems. Decision Support Systems are interactive computer systems that can provide alternative solutions for decision makers, so decisions can be made more quickly and accurately. In an effort to speed up the decision-making process and avoid the subjectivity of the resulting decisions a decision support system is needed that aims to assist job management as decision makers in deciding the right location to establish new hotels through the selection process using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) model. This system is expected to assist management in comparing value criteria, applying pairwise comparison matrices to get the weight of each criterion both local and global criteria. The AHP method is chosen because this method can carry out multi-objective measurements and several criteria, according to the requirements in the decision for the establishment of new hotels that rely on criteria.
