Abstract

This study aims to analyze the algebraic problem-solving abilities of student package B equivalence. Data collection was conducted on students of package B equivalency at the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) of Rahmatan Lil-Alamin Makassar, South Sulawesi. The method used in this research is quantitative. The results of the study showed that 45% of students who completed, while students who did not complete were 55%, meaning that there were more students who did not complete than completed. Students' classical completeness also gets a percentage of 40%, it means that students do not complete classically. The students have not been able to understand algebraic problem and students experience concept errors and problem solving procedures. Students must be trained to do algebraic questions more routinely and students are also given algebraic questions related to the context of students' daily life. The research is needed to be done further on other variables such as conceptual understanding, problem solving errors, as well as material to be tested such as geometry, arithmetic, and statistics.

Abstract

Premium is an amount of money that must be paid by the customer at a certain time based on the insurance policy. This study aims to determine the value of whole life insurance premiums using the Makeham mortality law method and the Cox Ingersoll Ross (CIR) model. The result of the study obtained the calculation of interest rates using the CIR model, the smaller the  value, the greater discount and the premium paid using the Makeham mortality law method was Rp. 102.478 < premium <  Rp. 1.270.630 / Mounth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the reflective learning model with a realistic mathematical approach with religious nuances on the mathematics learning outcomes of Integral material students. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Polewali where the sample was taken by simple random sampling and taken by class XI IPS 4 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 1 as the control class. The instrument in this study was a learning achievement test consisting of pre-test and post-test and observation sheets consisting of student activity observation sheets and learning implementation sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis of mathematics learning outcomes in this case the post-test in both classes obtained an average value of 82.97 for the experimental class and 67.72 for the control class. The results of inferential analysis using the normality test and homogeneity test for both classes, namely the two classes are normally distributed and have homogeneous variance. From the results of descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, it can be concluded that the reflective learning model with a realistic mathematical approach with religious nuances has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI social studies students at SMA Negeri 3 Polewali.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a pattern of spatial linkages between provinces in Indonesia based on the amount of bank financing through the influencing factors, namely third-party funds (DPK), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), MSME financing loans and GRDP. The data used is 2021 data. By using the Spatial Regression method with Moran' s I Test, it will look for relationships and inter-regional (spatial) relationships in the amount of bank financing based on the observed factors. From the results of data analysis, the Moran's I value obtained is 0.4439. Then based on the test results |2,2444|>1.96, the decision making according to the existing hypothesis is H0 rejected. It can be concluded that there are spatial dependencies between provinces based on the amount of bank financing in each province according to the observed factors, namely DPK, NPF, MSME financing credit and GRDP. The expected output in implementing this developed strategy is to increase the amount of banking financing that is evenly distributed in each province in order to achieve the objectives from the economic aspect while taking into account the benefits for banking institutions. The improvement in the economic aspects in question includes increasing the usability of money, increasing the usability of goods, maintaining the country's economic stability and as a bridge to increase national income.

Abstract

Education statistics subject is one of the compulsory subjects for students majoring in education which is often avoided by many students. Students tend to have a negative attitude towards subjects related to numbers and calculations. Based on the observation results of Arabic Language Education student exam results, there are still many students who have not been able to describe or analyze the results of data processing. Thus, research was conducted regarding the interest and motivation of Arabic Language Education students in the Education Statistics subject. The research method used is the questionnaire method to measure aspects of interest and talent, aspects of learning readiness, and learning support facilities. So the results obtained from the study were that 85.7% of students liked the Education Statistics subject, and prepared the media to record material well. The presence of lecturers in the room also affects student enthusiasm for learning. It's just that the enthusiasm for student learning has not been supported by adequate facilities.
