Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the Modality of Sutinah's victory in regional head elections in Mamuju Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, namely to obtain an in-depth picture of the role of the winning modality in the post-conflict local election in Mamuju district, and the type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data from six main informants. Data collection techniques using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research conducted show that there are three indicators in the modality of Sutinah's victory in the regional head election in Mamuju Regency, namely, political capital, social capital, and economic capital. This proves that Sutinah Suhardi, as a woman and also a migrant, was able to accumulate the capital she owned so that she succeeded in winning the Mamuju regional head election in 2020.

Abstract

This type of research is a qualitative research using a descriptive type of approach. Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The informants in this study consisted of 8 people consisting of the elected Regent, the party carrying the candidate, the candidate winning team and voters based on age category who were the people of East Luwu Regency. and data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate four (4) indicators in the Political Campaign Strategy in the 2020 Elected Regent Network in East Luwu Regency, namely: First, the determination of communicators, the determination of communicators as directors of campaign activities in the network based on the results of joint decisions of candidates, winning teams and supporting parties who appoint Golkar party legislators as communicators at the 2020 East Luwu election. Second, Set the target target, namely the community as voters in the 2020 Luwu Timu election which is divided into several segments such as region, age, and occupation to facilitate the communication process in building support for candidates. Third, compiling messages, information related to the vision and mission, superior programs, as well as the image of the Husler-Budiman pair which are campaign materials to be conveyed to the public as voters in the 2020 East Luwu election. the winning team established social media accounts for campaign activities. Likewise, the use of online news to improve the candidate's image and the installation of billboards and distribution of campaign brochures.

Abstract

This study examines fisherman community voters' political engagement in Covid 19 in the 2020 Regional Head Election in Tritiro Village, Bontotiro District, Bulukumba Regency. This qualitative research method analyses primary and secondary data using interview, observation, and documentation. According to the study, (1) Active Participation: The fishing community participates in the post-conflict local election by campaigning for certain candidates openly, placing banners for candidate pairs, socialising the programme for the next 5 years if mandated by the community, and most of the fishing communities choose one Paslon because of the 4 existing candidates, one may change and (2) Passive Participation: the fishing community participates passively because the problem occurs almost every general election and events have not been adequately analysed for the next participant. First, political parties' candidates are old. (2) campaign promises are not fulfilled with political realities, (3) post-conflict local election organisers lack socialisation, (4) candidate candidates are considered too much talk and not realised after taking office, and (5) the community participates passively because each community has a different perspective. (6) There are more pressing issues and (3) the Abstain group (Golput) or apathetic groups: Fishing communities rarely skip district head elections in Bulukumba Regency this year. Even if fishing villages are apathetic and think an election is pointless, they believe their one vote cannot influence the outcome.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the political ecology of land conversion into shallot farming land in Enrekang Regency with reference to political ecology indicators by Bryant and Bailey, namely: risks and benefits of actors (explaining the follow-up and benefits of the political ecology of land use change that occurs), impacts that arise (analysing the impacts that are caused), and relations between actors (analysing the relationship between each interest of the actors involved). This type of research uses a qualitative method that aims to provide a descriptive description of the political ecology of land conversion into shallot farming land in Enrekang Regency. Data sources consist of primary data obtained through interviews and secondary data taken from official documents, notes, reports, and archives that can be supported by the integrity of the primary data. The results of the study show that there are interests of the actors so that land conversion can occur; the impact arising from the expansion of shallot fields results in floods and landslides; and relations between expansion actors occur because there are no regulations or local rules that limit the conversion of land to land agriculture in Enrekang District.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Political Participation of the Community in the Implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections in Soppeng Regency and also to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of Community Political Participation in the Implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections. The type of research used is a qualitative research method and the type of research is descriptive. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The process of data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely checking all data, interview results, data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the Political Participation of the Community in the Implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in Soppeng Regency is influenced by several indicators, namely (1) Social and Economic Status. (2) Situation (3) Political awareness (4) Trust in the government. The supporting factor in public political participation is the political awareness of the community to choose its leader, while the inhibiting factors are bad weather, Covid-19, and the number of immigrants.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to address the posed problem by examining the outcomes of the political segmentation of voters in the 2020 Bulukumba Regency local elections. The utilized research methodology is descriptive qualitative. The present study employs observation, interviews, and documentation as research instruments to elucidate the Political Segmentation of Voters Winning Pairs of Simultaneous Local Elections in Bulukumba Regency in the year 2020. The study's informants comprised individuals such as Candidates for Regent and Deputy Regent, Political Consultants, Leaders of the Winning Team, and members of the Community. The findings of this investigation suggest that the political segmentation of voters, as conducted by researchers, is based on interviews conducted with team leaders and candidate pairs before the election of the Regent of Bulukumba. The discussions centered on the superior programs that have been conveyed by the incumbent regent, with a particular emphasis on the welfare of the middle class. The equitable distribution of policies implemented by the government has resulted in the participation of various social classes, including those from the agricultural sector and fishermen, in the Bulukumba district. Additionally, the current administration has continued to pursue previously established government programs that were previously unrealized.

Abstract

In the regional head election discourse, reporting campaign funds is a central issue in realizing democratic practices that comply with the rules. This study aims to discuss the issue of reporting campaign funds in the implementation of regional head elections in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive narratives and the instruments used are interviews with informants who understand the issue of campaign finance reporting, especially in the 2020 regional head election. The use of the campaign finance information system application is considered effective in reporting campaign funds if it is judged by the ease of access, the usefulness of time, and disclosure of information in unraveling the chaotic reporting of campaign funds at every political stage. Although the issue of verification of report data is a concern that needs to be constantly criticized so that related parties can improve the quality of verification according to an open and sustainable procedure.

Abstract

Environmental Policy in West Kalimantan is an important issue because this province is in an area that is prone to environmental problems such as forest degradation. West Kalimantan has significant environmental problems. One of them is forest and land fires which cause air pollution (smog) in the West Kalimantan area which is more pronounced in the Mempawah, North Kayong, Kuburaya, Pontianak and surrounding areas. Then Deforestation and Habitat Destruction, which is forest encroachment and land conversion for the development of agricultural activities (oil palm) which results in habitat destruction for wildlife and also worsens the quality of the surrounding environment. in this way we will find out what the West Kalimantan government's policy is regarding the environmental issue (karhutla) of forest and land fires in 2023.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is related to the strategy of the local government to build gender equality in the political field in Sinjai Regency to determine the Strengthening of the Existence of Women in the Political Sector to Achieve Gender Equality in Sinjai Regency.. The type of this research is qualitative research. This research uses descriptive research. The results of this study are to strengthen the existence of the women in political view to achieve gender equality in Sinjai, the implementation of these policies through Government Regulation number 12 of 2013 concerning Gender Mainstreaming which becomes the foundation and encouragement to be more gender-responsive, and the capability in political already increasing, because there is no more gender discrimination in leadership because already depending on women's capacity and performance, and then the accessibility of the women to access politics has been given a lot of form from government and the legislative. However, patriarchal values become the dominant cultural barrier limiting women's participation in politics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of women's political leadership styles on the effectiveness of development in Parangloe Village, Bantaeng Regency. The research design employed is a quantitative method, utilizing a questionnaire as the main instrument. The population under study comprises the residents of Parangloe Village, Bantaeng Regency, and the sample size determination utilized the Slovin technique due to the large and challenging-to-reach population. The study selected 90 respondents as samples. Data collection methods involved both observation and the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique employed in this study is regression analysis. Validity and reliability of the data were ensured through validity testing. The findings of this study indicate that the influence of women's political leadership styles on the effectiveness of development in Parangloe Village, Bantaeng Regency, is positive. This is supported by the average score of 168.8 or 84%, suggesting a very favorable position for the impact of women's leadership style. Furthermore, the research also reveals a positive effect of women's leadership on development in Parangloe Village, Bantaeng Regency, with a percentage of 69.1%, while the remaining 30.9% is attributed to other factors.
