EJHEAA
European Journal of Higher Education and Academic Advancement is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal that offers comprehensive coverage of theoretical and empirical studies of higher education in Europe, comparative research within Europe, and comparisons between European and non-European higher education. Building on the successful legacy of its predecessor, Higher Education in Europe, EJHEAA is establishing itself as one of the flagship journals in the study of higher education and specifically in the study of European higher education. The journal accepts original research articles and proposals for special issues. We strongly recommend that authors consult back issues of EJHEAA for examples of topics of interest to our readership and to ensure that your proposed article is in conversation with any prior articles in the same topic area published in EJHEAA or other higher education journals. The articles that are part of a special issue do not all necessarily have to have an explicit European focus as long as the overall theme of the special issue fits the scope of this journal.

<![CDATA[Quality learning is learning that creates an effective and meaningful educational experience for students. Quality learning must be in accordance with the learning objectives that have been set. Every activity or material presented must support the achievement of the learning objectives that have been set. Quality learning should stimulate students to develop problem solving skills. This can be achieved by assigning assignments or projects that require analysis, synthesis, and creative thinking. Quality learning respects students' individual differences. This includes understanding students' learning styles, levels of understanding, and their specific needs, and providing appropriate support. Quality education cannot be cheap, or rather it doesn't have to be cheap or free. However, quality education does not require asking where the money will come from to form all these qualities. The government is obliged to guarantee that every citizen receives an education and guarantees access for the lower classes to quality education. In this way, schools will no longer worry about where the funds will come from, and the community will no longer have difficulty getting access to quality schools with affordable educational costs. Quality learning is an investment in students' personal and academic development. It's not just about relying on a particular method, but also about creating a learning environment that motivates, supports, and encourages students' intellectual and moral growth]]>

<![CDATA[To characterize the features of EASs, this study used the AIRES simulation tool (Version 19.04.0) to estimate the lateral distribution function (LDF) at very high energies of different types of cosmic ray particles. An array of zenith angles spanning from 1018 to 1020 eV was used for the proton and iron primary simulations. The EASs's LDF curves are fitted with new coefficients for various primary particles and zenith angles using a polynomial fit, and these coefficients are applicable to the energy range described before. The findings of the simulation were compared with actual data from the Yakutsk EAS array, which showed decent agreement for proton and iron at 1019 eV for angled showers at θ=10ˢ.]]>

<![CDATA[The goal of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of an educational program based on generative learning in the achievement of fourth-grade female students in the subject of sociology. The two researchers used the experimental research method to achieve the research goal, the research sample consisted of two groups (experimental and control), each group consisting of (30) female students. The two researchers built a research tool to test achievement in sociology, it consisted of (50) multiple-choice items and essay questions. The results showed the superiority of the experimental group that studied using the educational program over the control group that studied using the usual method. <![CDATA[Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to to study the current “soup of letters”, that is different standard setters and frameworks on sustainability reporting. Design/methodology/approach – This paper conducts a traditional literature review based on the studies investigating the development of sustainability reporting towards common standards. Findings – Overall, we conclude that current insights of the comment letters on why global sustainability standards are required should be delivered; significant information and analyses on the contribution of setting up the coordinated action and demand-driven consultation for high quality and global sustainability standards should be provided, and academic collaboration relevance to meet the growing demand for sustainability reporting harmonization should be enhanced. Research limitations/implications – Drawing upon literature from different fields enables a deeper understanding of the development of sustainability reportingtowards common standards. Nevertheless, the content analysis of the comment letters are excluded and deserve further attention. Originality/value – This paper discusses the need to have the sustainability reporting by presenting its histroical development towards common standards and deliver current insights on why global sustainability standards are required for high quality sustainability standards to meet the growing demand for global harmonization.]]>
