Abstract

This study aims to identify the species diversity and abundance of insects in the peat swamp forest converted into rice fields in the Peat Techno Park, University of Palangka Raya. The sampling method used three types of traps, namely yellow trap, swing nets,and light traps. The Shanon -Weiner equation was used to calculate the diversity index of the collected insects. The insects that were caught consisted of 10 orders and 49 families with a total 0f 2,089 individuals. The most caught insects were the order Ephemeroptera with a total 730 individuals. The abundance index of Ephemeroptera was 35.04%, Formicidae 11.20%, Coenagrionidae 10,39%, and Tetragnathidae 9,38%. The four of this insects are classified as dominant. The H’ index is 2.5037 where the level of insect diversity is moderate, the dominance index is 0.1626 so that dominance is classified as moderate. The evenness index is 0.6276, which means moderate evenness.

Abstract

Macrozoobenthos are basic aquatic organisms that live above or life on the bottom of the waters. This study aims to determine the diversity, uniformity and dominance of macrozoobenthos. This research was carried out in the Kenten River, Banyuasin Regency in January-April 2022 which consisted of three sampling points and this study was taken every 2 weeks for 2 months. Sampling, samples of macrozoobenthos were taken using the Ekman grab tool, then the samples that had been taken were separated from the mud and other objects with 0.5– 1 mm, levels and offered 70% alcohol. The results of the study found that there were 3 divisions, namely the Oligochaeta, Malacostraca and Insecta divisions. Based on research conducted to enjoy the highest experience at station II with a value of 184 ind/m2 and the lowest at station III with a value of 52 ind/m2. The Diversity Index (H') ranges from 0.10-0.22. The uniformity index (E) ranges from 0.15-0.23. The dominance index (D) ranges from 0.90 to 0.95

Abstract

Hutan pelangi di Kawasan Biosite Ijen Geopark sangati popular dikarenakan jenis pohon yang memiliki khas berupa gradasi warna pelangi pada kulit batangnya. Jenis pohon ini tergolong genus Eucalyptus yang statusnya rentan dan endemik di Indonesia. Belum banyak penelitian tentang pohon pelangi di Indonesia sehingga dalam penelitian diamati struktur morfologi sebagai dasar penelitian awal bagi pelestarian pohon pelangi dengan metode pengamatan jelajah dan observasi, data dikumpulkan dan dianalisis berdasarkan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu struktur morfologi akar, batang, daun dan bunga yang dapat dijadikan dasar bagi penelitian berikutnya

Abstract

Sistim muskuloskeletal merupakan sistim yang dimiliki seseorang untuk bergerak dengan menggunakan rangka dan otot. Terjadinya keluhan yang dialami seseorang pada bagian otot dan tulang yang mengalami keluhan mulai dari sakit ringan sampai sangat sakit. Keluhan muskuloskeletal, keluhan yang dirasakan muncul di bagian otot dan tulang. Keluhan ini bisa dirasakan mulai keluhan yang berat sampai ringan yang sering dibagian muskulus di vertebra. Keluhan akan bertambah bila disertai dengan kerusakan pada tendon, ligament, sendi otot. Tujuan Penelitian ini dengan rumusan masalah adakah hubungan angka kejadian keluhan muskuloskeletal dengan usia. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pukesmas Dukuh Kupang pada RW 5 Surabaya, pada bulan November 2022 – Januari 2023, dengan pemberian kuesioner ke responden, dengan populasi laki-laki dan perempuan sejumlah 45 responden, total sampling. Metode penelitian deskritif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Kreterian inklusi adalah laki-laki dan perempuan, bertempat tinggal di wilayah kerja Pukesmas Dukuh Kupang RW 5. Variabel indenpenden usia, variabel dependen adalah keluhan muskuloskeletal. Usia semakin bertambah berpengaruh dengan keluhan muskuloskeletal, terbukti pada usia 61-75 tahun menunjukkan angka 43,4 % yang berarti sering mulai mengalamin keluhann musculoskeletal seperti nyeri pada sendi, otot, tendon dibandingkan dengan usia 35-50 tahun sebesar 21,4 % dan pada usia 51 - 60 tahun sebesar 35,2 %.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the physical stability of hand sanitizer gel 96% ethanol extract of Ambon banana peel (Musa paradisiaca) and the ability to control the number of bacteria on the hands. The formulation is carbopol 940, HPMC, TEA, Methylparaben, and Ambon banana peel extract (Musa paradisiaca). Tests for hand sanitizer gel preparations include organoleptic tests, dispersibility, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, skin irritation, and controlling the number of bacteria on the hands. The results of the organoleptic physical stability test on day 0 and day 30 affected texture and color but did not affect aroma. The dispersion test on day 0 was 6.53 and on day 30 it was 6.26. The homogeneity test on day 0 and day 30 is homogeneous. The pH test on day 0 was 5.96 and on day 30 it was 5.83. The viscosity test on day 0 is 2,900 and on day 30 is 2,900. Test the percentage of the number of bacteria on the hands before and after day 0 the results of R1 were 6,4% R2 75% R3 87,8%. And on day 30 the result is R1 91,4% R2 76,19% R3 97,05%. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the 30-day real-time physical properties stability test met the requirements of the gel preparation. Bacterial control test on the respondent's hands before and after using hand sanitizer gel of Ambon banana peel extract was able to reduce the percentage of bacteria on each respondent's hand.
