Abstract

Lots of library processing applications can be used to support students in completing their final assignments, one of which is through Mendeley. Mendeley is an application that has the ability to process scientific databases in the form of e-books, e-journals, and other libraries. Mendeley is claimed to be important in writing the final project because reference management can make it easier for the civitas academica to cite citations as well as good reference management and can minimize plagiarism. This study discusses the Utilization of the Mendeley Application in Writing Final Projects by Library Science Study Program Students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra in writing scientific articles for Library Science study program students. This study aims to find out how to use Mendeley in writing their final assignment by Library Science students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. This research method uses qualitative methods with observation and interview approaches. The research subjects were students of the 2019 Library Science study program who were writing their final assignment.

Abstract

This research was aimed to examine empirically the effect of service quality digital library on Reading interest. The analysis used an independent variable (Quality Service Digital Library) and dependent variable (Reading Interest). The sample was conducted by purposive sampling method. This study location at perpustakaan PEMKO Medan Jalan Iskandar Muda Collecting data was conducted by a questionnaire distributed directly to responden and visitor as much 30 questionnaires. The statistical method used was multiplied analysis linear regression, with hypotheses testing of statistic t-tests. The result of this research showed that There is a significant positive influence between the quality of digital library services on students' reading interest in the regional library of Medan City (Library and Archives Service). Obtained based on the significance value that by partial test the significance value of t is 0.001 < than 0.05 this value shows the t value is smaller than the significance value of 0.05.

Abstract

After the creed, prayer, zakat, and fasting, the fifth pillar of Islam is haji. Every Muslim who meets the material, physical, and scientific requirements by visiting Baitullah and performing a number of activities related to Hajj, such as conditions, pillars, obligatory, and sunnah Hajj, is obligated to make the pilgrimage. because the pilgrimage is unlike other forms of worship, which must be carried out at a specific time and location. In order to avoid any issues, the Hajj services must be carried out flawlessly and professionally. This includes the crucial role played by the Hajj Guidance Group (KBIH). This article was written using a qualitative method. While field research is the method of choice, The study reveals that the program for carrying out the Hajj at KBIHU Armina, MedanCity, aims to increase pilgrimage knowledge, beginning with registration, providing guidance on the Hajj rituals, assisting with the carrying out of the pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, returning, and ending with coaching and guidance following the carrying out of the Hajj. The utilization of strategies in Hajj and Umrah direction through Hajj ceremonies can be of more than one kind (changes) while executing the Hajj customs with an end goal to build information on the journey for planned travelers at KBIHU Armina, MedanCity. Forthcoming pioneers can be roused in different ways. A strategy's viability and pertinence to the boss' material should be considered while choosing and applying it. The talk technique, the reproduction strategy, and the Q & A strategy are undeniably used in the Hajj ceremonies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to prevent promiscuity through the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers by forming the character of Muslim students who are devout and have noble morals. This study uses a qualitative approach using observation data triangulation, interviews and documentation. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research location was carried out at SMP N 1 Biru-Biru, Deli Serdang Regency. The process was carried out for 3 months starting from 10 April – 10 June 2023. There were two data sources used, namely primary and secondary sources. The condition of promiscuity is caused by many influencing factors including internal and external factors. The promiscuity that exists at SMP N 1 Biru-biru includes dating between students and also the rise of pornographic and romantic displays at school. The PAI teacher's role as a teacher in teaching promiscuity and adultery material is good, in the sense that he has prepared a) planning in the form of preparing lesson plans for theme 8 (avoiding promiscuity and adultery) b) choosing methods and media for promiscuity and adultery material in learning; c) demonstrating teaching materials; d) prepare learning evaluations and conduct material assessments of promiscuity and adultery. Then, as an educator, namely a) instilling the values of Islamic sex education in Qur'an recital activities and youth recitations, and getting used to implementing Islamic sex education (separating seats during social gatherings or school events, dressing to cover one's private parts, and asking for permission); b) Activate religious culture in schools with supervision and monitoring; c) Assistance in Spiritual activities; d) Conducting guidance to students with problems; e) Become a role model in avoiding promiscuity and adultery by maintaining Islamic social ethics. As for the obstacles of PAI teachers in preventing promiscuity, there is a lack of cooperation between teachers and people.

Abstract

The case of a victim of robbery who became a suspect in Medan City had caused This study aims to determine the organizational communication strategy of HMI in recruiting new member cadres at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication in maintaining the existence of its organization at UIN Sumatra Utara. To find out the obstacles to the HMI organizational communication strategy in recruiting new member cadres at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication in maintaining the existence of its organization at UIN Sumatra Utara. This type of research uses a qualitative approach to research, in an effort to provide answers to the problems that have been described, because it uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles & Hubberman interactive model including: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show basic findings such as the cadres of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) of UIN North Sumatra are able to have a positive impact on students where the cadres of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) hold meetings to maintain friendship among each HMI member, and are able to liven up the to promote open discussion on campu.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the practice of giving marital property from the wife's family to the husband through angkap marriage in Tan Saril Village, Bebesen District, and how the perspective of Bebesen sub-district ulama on the practice of giving marital property through angkap marriage is still carried out by some people in the village.This research is an empirical legal research, with a legal sociological approach and qualitative data analysis. Primary data sources were obtained from interviews with communities who practice giving marital property from the wife's family to the husband through angkap marriage and interviews with scholars of Bebesen sub-district. The results showed that there are still some communities in Tan Saril Village, Bebesen District, who practice giving marital property from the wife's family to the husband through angkap marriage, where the property will be given to the husband in the form of agricultural land, provided that the husband is drawn into the wife's family clan. If there is a divorce due to a dispute, not due to death, then the property is returned to the wife. Some scholars of Bebesen sub-district argue that the provision of property grants through angkap marriage is something that is permissible but better not done, because it can cause losses to one party. Some scholars consider this only applies to customary law, and is not in accordance with the principle of covenant in Islam which requires clarity in a contract.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of complaint handling on customer satisfaction at Baitulmaal Muamalat Medan. Customer satisfaction is an important indicator in evaluating the quality of banking services and can affect customer loyalty and retention. Effective handling of customer complaints is a key factor in increasing customer satisfaction. This research uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires to Baitulmaal Muamalat Medan customers. The research sample consisted of 200 randomly selected customers. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to test the relationship between complaint handling and customer satisfaction. In addition, descriptive statistical analysis was also carried out to analyze the characteristics of respondents. The results showed that complaint handling has a significant positive influence on customer satisfaction at Baitulmaal Muamalat Medan. This finding shows the importance of implementing effective complaint handling practices in Islamic financial institutions. Customers who are satisfied with the complaint handling provided have a tendency to remain loyal customers.

Abstract

Linguistic intelligence is the ability to organize thoughts clearly and be able to use them competently through words to express thoughts in speaking, reading and writing. This study aims to find out the effect of story-reading on the development of linguistic intelligence in early childhood, especially in Ra Al-WasliyahJl. Asahan Km. 17 woke up. This research was conducted at RA Al - Wasliyah jl. Asahan km. 17 Wake up. On March 6 - March 8, 2023. This research uses the type of Classroom Action Research (Teacher PTK) which is research conducted in the classroom using an action to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in order to obtain better results than before. From the results of the study it was found that story-reading had several positive influences on increasing linguistic intelligence, namely: (1) early childhood knew and understood new vocabulary (2) understood the plot of a story (3) arranged words to convey the implied message of a story. In conclusion, that storyreading can have an influence on the development of linguistic intelligence in early childhood.

Abstract

Tourism is one sector that can help increase the income of a region. Many regions depend on their income from the tourism sector. Tourism has several types where tourism can be in the form of natural tourism, building tourism, or artificial tourism. In developing tourism in Indonesia, the government has a policy offer in the form of managing ecotourism and halal tourism. Ecotourism is a type of tourism object that has the aim of protecting the environment and sustainability, while halal tourism is the concept of fulfilling the halal aspects of a tourist attraction in the form of lodging, culinary, and other supporting aspects. This paper aims to analyze the increase in Langkat district's original income through tourism management with aspects of ecotourism and halal tourism. This paper has a qualitative approach with the interview research method where the researcher conducted interviews with several people related to tourism in Langkat district, this paper has the result that tourism does not have a significant influence on regional income if it is not managed properly with clear directions and objectives.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a conditional cash transfer program for low-income families. The requirement is to be actively involved in education and health. The Family Hope Program in Indonesia was implemented in 2007 to alleviate poverty and prosper low-income families. This research and journal article aims to determine the impact of PKH on family welfare and see if there is a reduction in the poverty rate after the government realizes the Family Hope Program. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Collecting research data in the form of observations, interviews and documentation with PKH Facilitators and PKH beneficiary families (KPM) Kerasaan I Village, Pematang Bandar District, Simalungun Regency. The results of the study show that the impact of PKH on beneficiary families, including the cash provided, can meet family consumption or needs and help the economy of PKH beneficiary families. Program implementation can reduce poverty in Kerasaan I Village. The percentage of poor people in September 2021 was 0.14% and decreased in March 2022 to 0.02%. The limitation of the research is the impact of PKH on family welfare and wanting to examine whether there is a decrease in the percentage of poverty in Pematang Bandar District or more precisely in the Kerasaan I Village. The practical implication of this research is to provide information to the government that PKH can increase the welfare of low-income families. Its social meaning is to provide an overview to the government and the community that the implementation of social assistance programs, one of which is the Family Hope Program, can reduce the poverty rate in Kerasaan I Village, Pematang Bandar District. The purity of this research is supported by the Kerasaan I Kelurahan PKH Facilitator who helps the community get out of poverty through a family capacity building meeting program (P2K2) which is held every month
