Abstract

The problem that is the main focus of this research is the lack of interesting interactive multimedia-based educational information media as a provider of information about venomous animals. This information should also be a concern because these venomous animals are very dangerous, especially for children who still lack information about this. The aim of this research is to become a source of educative information to the public, especially children, about venomous animals as attractive as possible and easy to use. Interactive multimedia is one solution to this problem. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle method is used as a guide in building interactive multimedia with the stages of Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. From the results of testing in alpha testing all the features in this interactive multimedia can run well. With the results of beta testing on 30 respondents, they get a rating of 4.54 out of 5, so this interactive multimedia is very good and suitable for use as an educative information medium about venomous animals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how social media is used in political contexts, particularly during the Indonesian presidential election of 2024. Social media has grown in importance in people's daily lives in the modern digital age, especially in the political sphere. A notable instance of presidential contenders using social media deliberately to sway voters is the Indonesian presidential election of 2024. Using a qualitative technique and a descriptive research design, this study focuses on the three leading candidates for the presidency of Indonesia in 2024. The data analysis technique used by the researchers is framing analysis. The goal of framing analysis is to ascertain how a media outlet manages the framing of news about, in this case, the Indonesian presidential candidates for 2024. The researchers discover that the media frequently gives more coverage to the front-runner for president after looking at a variety of presidential election stories. The real count results, which show one candidate ahead of the others, clearly demonstrate this. The research's conclusions offer a clearer knowledge of the political application of social media as well as how it affects the public's perception and attitude toward presidential candidates. Additionally, this study provides campaign teams and presidential candidates with information into how important social media tactics are in shaping public opinion.

Abstract

This journal discusses the importance of social inclusion-based library transformation in improving community welfare. The background of this research is the social inclusion-based library transformation program initiated by the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. Social inclusion-based libraries provide facilities to the community to develop their potential to improve welfare in various fields. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach involving the Sibolga City Library, Indonesia. In this study, it was found that the transformation of libraries into social inclusion can help communities gain access to information, learning opportunities, and community empowerment. In addition, library transformation can also increase community participation in library activities and help build positive social relationships. This study also shows that library transformation based on social inclusion can improve community well-being in several aspects, such as skills development, literacy, mental health, and cultural identity. However, the challenges faced in the library transformation process are lack of funding, lack of support from the government, and lack of public awareness about the benefits of the library itself. For this reason, government and community support is essential in encouraging the transformation of libraries to be more inclusive and provide better services for the community. Overall, library transformation based on social inclusion can help improve community welfare through access to information, learning opportunities, and overall community empowerment.

Abstract

Currently, the development of knowledge and technology is advancing rapidly, resulting in civilizations and historical legacies being less regarded and appearing outdated. A permanent establishment that engages in the collection, conservation, and research of tangible objects for the purposes of study and tourism is called a museum. One of the famous museums in Bengkulu is the Bengkulu State Museum, which falls under the category of a historical museum. Historical museums typically reflect the culture of the region, which can be observed through the details, forms, and architectural styles present in the Bengkulu State Museum. These details, forms, and styles are studied using a neo-vernacular architectural approach, which adopts elements and principles from traditional vernacular styles but with contemporary interpretations. The findings and discussions from this study can be adapted and applied to other cultural buildings in the city of Bengkulu, thereby creating a harmonious unity among cultural structures. Qualitative data is used in this research, gathered through methods such as observation, interviews, and literature studies.

Abstract

As conventional media, radio must be able to adapt and innovate to continue to attract audiences and maintain its business. One that is considered capable of adapting in the era of digitalization is Gen 103.1 FM, a radio in Surabaya managed by PT. Mahaka Radio Integra Tbk. Based on Nielsen data in January 2023, Gen FM has the largest exclusive listeners compared to other radio stations with the "young" segmentation (aged 20 - 34 years). Apart from that, when compared to other radio stations in Surabaya, Gen 103.1 FM is better able to adapt and take advantage of the digitalization era to improve its business economy. This is not only proven by its large number of followers (13,100), but also by its more varied social media advertising offerings compared to other radio stations. Therefore, it is important to know what Gen 103.1 Fm's business model is so that other radio stations in Indonesia can follow which are now starting to lose listeners. To analyze the Gen 103.1 FM digital radio business model, several literature reviews were used, namely media economics and radio media company business models with qualitative descriptive methods used. Data collection in this research can be collected using in-depth interview techniques with Gen 103.1 FM employees and direct observation of the business model implemented. From the results of this research, it is known that Gen 103.1 FM has a digital economic business model that is strong and different compared to other radio stations.
