Abstract

The implementation of Ijarah Rental Contracts at Hendrawan's Boys/Girls Boarding House in Islamic Economics is the primary focus of this study. The purpose of this study was to ascertain how the rental of boarding houses would be implemented in Sengoro Village, Bengkalis District. Additionally, determine whether the ijarah contract's execution is hindered. The methodology of this study is qualitative. Qualitative research is the term for this kind of study. Field conditions and descriptions serve as the basis for this type of research, which aims to develop concepts, understandings, and theories. A study that aims to accurately describe the nature of an individual, condition, symptom, or particular group as it is is known as descriptive analysis. An interview or interview is the method used to collect data. An interview is a kind of conversation that uses verbal communication to get information and written documentation. The rent agreement for renting Hendrawan's son and daughter's boarding house is carried out verbally as a result of this research. The rental contract system can be transferred as long as the owner of the boarding house has given prior approval, proof of payment is only recorded via WhatsApp, and the tenant is entirely responsible for the provided boarding facilities. The study came to the conclusion that the rental house's ijarah contract was carried out in accordance with Islamic law. However, the boarding house owner's income decreased as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic's obstacles.

Abstract

This study explores Indonesia's complex legal system, which coexists with positive and Islamic law. The study examines how various legal systems apply justice and how people perceive it, using a quantitative research design. When survey data is combined with document analysis, subtle patterns and differences are revealed. The findings show that although positive law places more emphasis on procedural issues and the defense of individual rights, Islamic law views justice as being strongly related to moral and ethical principles. Different views of justice are influenced by differences in demographics. The discussion of these findings' implications within the framework of legal pluralism provides valuable perspectives for researchers, policymakers, and legal practitioners attempting to navigate the intricate legal landscape of Indonesia.

Abstract

The study of Islamic-integrated mathematics has goals that align with national education's goals, namely creating students who are devoted to God Almighty and have noble character. Islamic-integrated mathematics plays a role in collaborating mathematical concepts derived from the Quran and hadith. In the books of hadith, the discussion of uqiyah is always related to mathematical concepts. This study aims to explore the mathematical concepts contained in the uqiyah-themed traditions. A qualitative method with a literature review approach was used in this research. Data were obtained from analysing relevant books, books of hadith, journal articles, and proceedings. The results of this study revealed the existence of the concept of linear equation, the idea of equivalent comparison, the concept of function, and the concept of equation of a line through two points in the hadith related to uqiyah. In addition, examples of the application of mathematical integration in elementary and junior high school mathematics problems are presented

Abstract

This research delves into the economic behavior embedded in the traditional Banjar wedding process of Baatar Jujuran, a distinctive practice in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. While from a classical economics perspective, individual actions are often viewed as rational and instrumental, this study explores how cultural and religious values significantly influence the economic actions of the Banjar people. This research employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with informants selected via purposive sampling. Three informants were chosen, including a community leader, a cultural expert, and a religious figure with expertise in Islamic perspectives on marriage. Result found Baatar Jujuran involves the groom providing a sum of money to the bride's family, with the amount being determined by the bride, reflecting family social status. Through the theory of embeddedness, this research reveals that economic actions, even in a modern society, remain socially embedded in non-economic institutions like culture and religion, demonstrating the pervasive impact of cultural and religious values. The study also examines the Baatar Jujuran tradition from an Islamic perspective, highlighting its compatibility with Islamic teachings and practices. The findings illustrate how cultural and religious values, along with the dynamics of personal relationships, significantly shape economic behaviors in the Banjar community, offering a unique perspective on economic sociology.

Abstract

The law regarding alcoholic beverages in Indonesia is still a polemic, for example there is MUI Fatwa No. 11 of 2019 concerning Laws related to Alcohol, unfortunately it is not legally binding and only applies to Muslims in Indonesia. Laws banning alcoholic beverages must be passed in order to enforce laws that apply to everyone, given the current situation, it is important for Indonesia to introduce rules banning alcoholic beverages to ensure that the public is always aware of the dangers they pose. The dangers posed by alcoholic beverages are discussed in this qualitative literature study (library research) from a philosophical and historical perspective using the maqasid al-shari'ah approach.  The objectives of the maqasid al-shari'ah study of the prohibition of alcohol and the prohibition of khamr are to: First, Take advantage and eliminate mudharat, Next, the pattern Second, the purpose of saad al-Dzari'ah is to uphold the principle of dar'ul mafasidi muqaddamun 'ala jalbil mashalih, which states that doing good is more important than doing harm. This is done to preserve property, fate, soul, and reason. This shows that all harmful drinks, including khamr, are prohibited and hence considered haram because they use the same legal 'illat as khamr.
