Abstract

This study elaborates theoretically several aspects capturing the influences of human capital to parent-child's incomes. Based on Markov (chain) Model,  child's income has relation to her or his parent's. However, the relationship is ambiguous. There is unclear indication whether the better-off  will has rich children, or the worse-off parent will has poor child. To answer this problem, this paper uses two different intergenerational human investment models; these are Perfect Capital Market Model (but this model is rarely to apply in empirical study) and Imperfect Capital Market Model. The analysis indicates that someone's income depends mainly on his/her human capital, which the latter variable depends partly on human investment of the parent for his/her child. Notwithstanding, the two models show contextually that there are several other variables influencing parent-child's income relation. Those are parental altruism, child's ability, level of economic development, economic development system, and policies relating to human development,  influencing to a parent-child human investment relation, and the magnitude of someone's income. These have effects on differenambiguity of intergenerational income relation.   Keywords: human capital, distribution, income

The data that has been used is secondary data and the secondary data taken from many resources included the data from Badon Pusat Statistik and Indonesian Bank. Kind of analysis that have been used is by using multiple regression model. From the calculation the writer got R2 with the value 0,393 with indicated that 39.3 percent of credit Distribution effected by credit interest rate. society funds. From the t-test and outher test we can conclude that credit interest rate are not significant with the credit distribution, and society funds are significant to the credit distribution. The disturbance of banking intermediation or more popular in term disintermediation of credit distribution is reflected by the low position of LDR national banking. The low position of LDR indicates the decrease of banking ability in distributing credit if it's compared to the banking ability in colleting.fundfrom society. Abstract

This research is intended to analyze the level of value added and efficiency of offset printing production at small printing qffice industry in Palembang. Some theories applied on this research namely production and production cost, value added and efficiency. Beside that, sereral comparisons are added to compare the results of this research with others that have been ohsen-ed previously. The results indicate that the average level of value added and efficiency of offset prim in production are Rp. 3.279.200 and 0,56 per month. Compare with the results which are achien!d by other industries, the levels are still in low stage relatively. It means that, in offset printing production  process,   the expenditure proportion of intermediate cost  is still hi her  than  the proceeds proportion of output value and value added.   Key word: value added, eficiency, offset printing production

Industrial concentration is described  by concentration ratio of two largest firms (CR2) of output value. Growth wage rate is used to measure wage performance of Salt Industry in Palembang over aperiod  1994-2003. Industrial  Organization  Theory and  Wage Theoryare used to analyze  the performance  of salt industry during the years of 1994-2003. The data that used in this research are secondary data and primary data. The technique analysis used in this research is simple linier regression model. The results indicate that the concentration ratio of two largest firms (CR2) for output value effect on growth wage rate is equal to 10,7 percent and corelating between both variables is equal to 32,6 percent. The statistic   test   (t-test) indicates that industrial concentration effect on the industrial performances is significant.
