Abstract

The aims of this study are to determine how the effect of financial and non-financial compensation on employee commitment both partially and simultaneously. This research is a causality study with the quantitative data. Data is collected using a questionnaire which  tested for its feasibility by validity and reliability testing. The population in this study are UMKM employees in Palembang with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data is analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. This results of this study show that financial compensation has no effect on employee commitment while non-financial compensation has effect on employee commitment.https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v7i1.2775

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan membuktikan pengaruh dari keadilan kompensasi dan kepuasan kompensasi baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada UMKM pembuatan pempek Palembang. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah riset deskriptif kausalitas dan data yang digunakan merupakan data kuantitatif. Berdasarkan sumbernya, data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer yang didapatkan langsung dari responden. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang terlebih dahulu diuji kelayakannya dengan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja pada UMKM pembuatan pempek Palembang, baik karyawan bagian produksi maupun karyawan yang memasarkan produk pempek. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Banyaknya sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 orang karyawan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) keadilan kompensasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) kepuasan kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (3) terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara keadilan kompensasi dan kepuasan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan.Kata kunci: keadilan kompensasi, kepuasan kompensasi, kinerja karyawan

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of job satisfaction and organizational culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of the employees in PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang  and it takes the case in Division of Technology. Luthans stated that there are several dimensions determining job satisfaction, those are job itself, salary, supevision, co-workers, and working conditions. Meanwhile, according to Robbin, there are seven characteristics of organizational culture, those are innovation and risk taking, attention to detail, outcome orientation, team orientation, aggresiveness and stability.  The determination of number of respondents in this study uses a stratified random sampling method in Technical Inspection Department, Production Planning and Controling Department, Safety and Environment Department and Laboratory Department. The calculation of the sample size is based on Slovin formula and it gets a total sample of 66 employees.  The result of this study shows that job satisfaction do not have a significant effect on OCB.  While organizational culture significantly has positive effect on OCB. Job satisfaction and organizational culture simultantly has effect on OCB with organizational culture is the dominant variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence and job design partially or simultaneously and which variables are more dominant effect on the performance of employees of the Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. This study used a survey method with descriptive approach. Subjects in this study were all employees of the Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang as many as 36 people. The results showed that the competence (X1) and job design (X2) partially (t-test) have a positive influence on employee performance (Y) Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. This is indicated by the value of each thitung > ttable and probability value < level of significance. Simultaneous test results (F test) showed that the competence and job design simultaneously positive effect on the performance of employees of the Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang with R value of 0.924, which means very strong. The independent variable which gives a more dominant effect on performance, namely competence (X1). This shows that the better their competence will better the performance of the resulting employee Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang.

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the factors that have influence on the student of economic choice to attend the graduate school on Palembang campus or Indralaya campus. The data was collected through a structured questionnaire with regard to student’s perceive on the independent variable in this research such as security, culture, reference, tuition fee, quality, promotion, and location. Total of 120 students participate in this study that consist of 60 economic students of Indralaya campus and 60 economic students of Palembang campus.The empirical result in thi study reveal that there is a significant relationship between independent variable such as security, gender, and reference and student’s choice to attend the campus. However, there are some dimensions which are significantly had strong relationship such as variable entertainment, popularity, and tuition fee. One variabel which is not influence the relationship between independent variable and campus choosing is variable quality.Overall, the findings of the present research indicate that there are some factors which are affect student to choose either Indralaya campus or Palembang campus.Key words: student behavior, graduate school, Indralaya campus, Palembang campus, South Sumatera, Indonesai.

Abstract

This study is the research about the function of monitoring, incentives and work productivity of rubber tappers employee at the farm of Research Center Estate Sembawa. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the monitoring function and incentives that effect to work productivity. The study was using qualitative methods associated with the quantitative analysis of multiple regression analysis to the relationship between the variables being tested look. The result from this study has the relationship between monitoring function with work productivity as 0.328 or 33%. Then incentives also have a relationship with work productivity as 0.599 or 60%. This means that there have other factors which can influence work productivity at 7%.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kebutuhan karyawan terhadap kepuasan karirnya, dimana kepuasan karir dapat dipengaruhi oleh karir organisasional dan didukung oleh organisasi tempat karyawan tersebut bekerja.Desain/Metodologi/Pendekatan – Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perawat pada Rumah Sakit Khusus Mata Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan diolah serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana.Temuan – Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah karir organisasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan karir karyawan.Keterbatasan penelitian – Pada penelitian ini kepuasan karir hanya menjadi satu variabel bebas yang terdiri dari beberapa dimensi. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, dimensi-dimensi dari kepuasan karir tersebut dapat dijadikan variabel bebas.Originality/value – Fokus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kepuasan karir perawat di rumah sakit, sedangkan penelitian sebelumnya lebih banyak membahas mengenai pengembangan karir perawat.Keywords: Karir Organisasional, Pengembangan Karir, Kepuasan Karir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2 Prabumulih. Populasi di PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2 Prabumulih adalah semua karyawan yang berjumlah 250 orang dan 72 orang responden diambil dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel incidental. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang didapatkan dari kuesioner. Data sekunder sebagai data pendukung diperoleh dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana. Data diperoses melalui program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Versi 2.0. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Abstract

The purposes of this research is to determine the effect of the implementation of safety management systems and occupational health (SMK3) towards the performance of employees at the power plant-CNG Jakabaring (case study on PT. Daruma Mitra Alam) .PT. Darum Mitra Alam has a special department that handles about occupational safety and health (K3) called as HSE department (Health, Safety, Environment). To analyze the data, researchers used descriptive analysis containing any statements from each variable, then the simple linear regression analysis along with hypothesis testing. Simple regression result indicates that the value of R square is 0.191, thus SMK3 variables could explain the variable Employee Performance by 19.1%. Based on these results, we can conclude that SMK3 (X) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) on PT. Daruma Mitra Alam. Keywords: SMK3, Employee Performance, and HSE

Abstract

This study examines the effect of compensation variable towards employees' discipline working in Education Quality Assurance Institutions of South Sumatera. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of employees' compensation towards discipline working of Education Quality Assurance Institutions of South Sumatera. The independent variable of this study is compensation and the dependent variable of this study is discipline working. This study uses primary data in the form of a questionnaire given to the respondents. The results of this study shows that the compensation from Education Quality Assurance Institutions of South Sumatera gives effect to employees' working discipline, which is positive correlation between compesation and working discipline.Keywords: compensation, discipline, working
