Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job promotion on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus in the Ganeas District Office of Sumedang Regency. In this study, researchers used a quantitative research methodology with descriptive research type. And researchers used a saturated sampling technique with a sample of 18 people consisting of the State Civil Apparatus in the Ganeas District Office of Sumedang Regency. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of library studies and field studies which include observation, and questionnaire distribution. Then the data processing technique is done by calculating the validity test, reliability test, percentage test, correlation test, significance test and test the coefficient of determination. The results of this study, researchers can describe that the influence of job promotion on the performance of the state civil servants reached 82.99%. The remaining 17.01% is influenced by other factors not examined by researchers called epsilon factor.

Abstract

The research objective of the researchers was to determine the effect of human resource development on the performance of SETWAN Sumedang Regency employees and to determine the relationship of human resource development with employee performance at SETWAN Sumedang Regency.In this study researchers used the Census research method. The data collection technique was carried out through literature studies and field studies consisting of observation, and questionnaire distribution. The population in this study were all employees of ASN SETWAN, Sumedang Regency. For sampling used the Saturated Sample technique. The number of samples in this study were 37 people.Based on the test of the correlation coefficient between the development of human resources and employee performance based on the calculation of Pearson product moment correlation coefficient obtained a value of 0.798 which is in the category of a very strong relationship level. Based on the significance test it is known that the significance of the score is 0,000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that the development of human resources has an effect on the performance of employees or means significant. While the calculation of the coefficient of determination that the influence of human resource development on employee performance in SETWAN Sumedang Regency is 63.7%, while the remaining 36.3% is influenced by other factors outside the study (epsilon factor), such as Competence and Professionalism.Based on the results of the study and conclusions, then the authors advise the SETWAN perform duties according to their abilities through the development of human resource development so as to be able to shape performance well.

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted by the researchers was to determine the effect of compensation on employee morale in the Sumedang district's environment and forestry service. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method, namely research based on the philosophy of positivism, this study uses data processes in the form of numbers as a tool for conducting research studies, so the results of research calculations in the form of numbers. The members obtained in this type of research determine the population and sample. The sampling technique used is the saturation sampling technique, with a population of 63 people. Based on the results of the research, the research can illustrate that the compensation provided by the Department of Environment and Forestry of Sumedang Regency has reached 80.90% and the figure is categorized Very Good, as well as the level of employee morale at the Department of Environment and Forestry of Sumedang Regency which reaches 83, 46% and the figure is categorized Very Good. The compensation relationship with the morale of the Office of Environment and Forestry of Sumedang Regency with a correlation coefficient of 0.539 is in the medium category. While the effect of compensation on the morale of employees of the Department of Environment and Forestry in Sumedang Regency reached 29.1%, the remaining 70.9% was influenced by other variables not examined by researchers.

Abstract

The role of political parties greatly influences the condition and future of the nation, because through the results of these elections, a new leadership will be elected through general elections. The meaning of democratization in the life of the nation and the state is one of them by holding general elections which will lead a nation to a new leadership and government, with the hope that the new government will improve life in all fields. Thus, the change in the direction of the nation's and state's policies is inseparable from the role of political parties that fill the people's democratic party with a number of party visions and missions that vary according to their ideology.

Abstract

his study aims to determine, obtain objective data and information regarding of archive storage at Land Office of Sumedang Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with three informants, those are: one informant from General Administration of Division of Land Legal Relations; and two informants from Assistant General Administration of Division of Land Legal Relations. The data collection techniques used are literature studies, field studies (observations, interviews, and documentations) and triangulation. The procedure of data processing uses Miles and Huberman model data analysis consisting of: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. Based on the results of the study, can be concluded that archive storage at Land Office of Sumedang Regency it’s still not good. This can be seen from the temporary storage (file pending) and fixed storage (permanent file). The obstacles are, the lack of human resources; the lack of facilities and infrastructures to support archives such as shelves and file storage cabinets, and the lack of funding. Efforts that can be done are, increasing human resources in archives field, replenishment of facilities and infrastructures such as shelves and file storage cabinets, and optimizing funding.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the sustainability of clean water services and the factors that affect the sustainability of clean water services. This research is a descriptive type of research using a qualitative approach or often called the naturalistic method, because the assessment is carried out in natural conditions (Natural Setting). This research was conducted at the Regional Public Company Tirta Medal Drinking Water in Sumedang Regency in November 2020. The samples in this study were 12 people. Data collection is obtained from interviews, documentation and observation. After the data is obtained, it is analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed (1) the factors that determine the sustainability of PERUMDA services regarding the availability of clean water raw materials, namely: the role of the Regional Government, the number of employees, the number of customers, clean water sources, and the availability of pipelines in PERUMDA so as to optimize the services provided to customers. (2) Actors or actors who determine the sustainability of clean water services at PERUMDA include the Regional Government, the Director, the Head of Division, and the District Office / Head. Then the employee who is one of the determinants is expected to be able to determine the sustainability of clean water services, and customers. (3) Sustainability of clean water services in Sumedang Utara Branch with 4096 subscribers. Plans to optimize the manufacture of deep wells to be implemented in the head office with a capacity according to geologists of 4-5 liters / second to optimize services in Sumedang Kota area. The sustainability of clean water services at the Cisitu branch consists of 2 work units, namely the Darmaraja service unit and the Cisitu branch. The Cisitu branch is supplied more than 20 liters / second and to meet the service needs of the Cisitu and Karangpakuan Units, it has been able to provide clean water services for 24 hours. The continuity of clean water services at Darmaraja Service Unit currently lacks clean water discharge. because the water discharge has started to decrease. In the long-term plan, there will be additional water debit through deep bore wells, so that consumers will not feel water shortages due to the rotating system, and can accept new customers. (4) Sustainability strategy PERUMDA has a strategy of adding new water sources, providing electricity networks to anticipate the dry season, and making mineral water products to explore potential income outside of new service connections. The program or policy of the Tirta Medal Regional Public Company for drinking water in the covid-19 pandemic situation provides relief to customers, namely in the form of eliminating fines.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the Effect of Disaster Emergency Management Operations on The Effectiveness of Work on Emergency and Logistics in the Sumedang District Disaster Management Agency. The research method used in this research is a quantitative research method with two methods of data collection, namely literature studies and field studies that include observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. For the spread of angket carried out to all employees of ASN (State Civil Apparatus) and Non-ASN (Pusdalops or Disaster Management Operations Control Center) in the Sumedang Regional Disaster Management Agency which amounted to 40 people. Based on the results of research it is known that disaster emergency management operations planning in emergency and logistics at the Sumedang Regional Disaster Management Agency is 88.4%. Furthermore, the Effectiveness of Work on Emergency and Logistics in the Sumedang District Disaster Management Agency is 90.5%. Based on correlation tests it is known that there is a very strong relationship between Disaster Emergency Management Operation Planning and Work Effectiveness in Emergency and Logistics Kasi at the Sumedang District Disaster Management Agency with a correlation coefficient of 0.808. The Effect of Disaster Emergency Management Operations Planning on The Effectiveness of Work on Emergency and Logistics Kasi in the Sumedang District Disaster Management Agency based on determination tests is in a strong category with a coefficient of determination of 0.653 or if percentageed by 65.3%. The remaining 34.7% was affected by other factors not studied in the study.

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted is to find out the Effect of Labor Division on the Effectiveness of Employee Work in the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sumedang Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method that is used in research based on the philosophy of positivism with the aim of testing established hypotheses. In this study, researchers used inferential descriptive data analysis techniques to describe or describe the data that has been collected as is by making conclusions that apply to the public. The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique, with a population of 33 people. Based on the results of the study, it can be described that the Division of Labor Achievement of The Division of Labor in the office of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sumedang Regency with the dimensions of activity details, the existence of task details, the existence of task burdens given, having an understanding of tasks, the provision of equal tasks, the placement of appropriate employees, and the assessment of work results that produce a percentage of 77.79%, and can be categorized well. There is a positive and significant relationship between the Division of Labor and the Effectiveness of Employee Work in the office of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sumedang Regency. This is evidenced by the result of the acquisition of t_hitung price greater than the table t or 5,663>2,0399. So it can be concluded that hypothesis zero (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that there is a division of labor with the effectiveness of employee work in the office of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sumedang Regency. Achievement of Employee Work Effectiveness in the office of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) sumedang regency with dimensions of organizational characteristics, environmental characteristics, worker characteristics, as well as management policies and practices that produce a percentage of 84.45% and can be categorized very well.

Abstract

This research on the Analysis of One-Way System Policy Implementation on Mayor Abdul Rahman Roads is motivated by traffic congestions that often occur on Jalan Mayor Abdul Rahman. In order to unravel that traffic congestions, the local government has made an effective traffic engineering policy. One of the efforts that can be done is to implement a one-way or one-way system policy on Major Abdul Rahman roads. From the preliminary data, it is known that the roads are congested. The implementation of this one-way system policy starts from the Pacific bridge to the Ojolali intersection. By implementing this one-way system policy, the government hopes to reduce the level of congestion on these roads. The research method used in the preparation of this report is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data obtained sourced from literature studies, field studies through activities such as observation, interviews, and documentation. In an effort to unravel congestion in the urban area of Sumedang, the Transportation Service (Dishub) of the Sumedang Regency Government carries out traffic engineering. The implementation of the one-way system policy is applied to the Major Abdul Rahman road section. On March 4, 2019, the Sumedang Regency government, supported by the Sumedang Police, carried out a traffic engineering trial to inform the public about the policies to be implemented. The traffic engineering trial was carried out around Jalan Mayor Abdurahman in the north and its surroundings. The implementation is guided by officers from the Sumedang Transportation Service and Police.
