Abstract

This research aims to gain knowledge regarding the influence of parental parenting patterns and students' interest in learning on student learning outcomes in PKK subjects at the Pematang Siantar Preparatory Private Vocational School. This type of research is quantitative research with a quantitative descriptive data analysis approach with the testing media used is SPSS 21. The population in this study was 124 people, and the sample used was 124 people. The sample collection technique used was the total sample. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The hypothesis data collection technique uses multiple regression analysis and the coefficient of determination (R2).The results of this study state that: 1) there is a positive influence of parental parenting patterns on student learning outcomes, this result can be seen in the t test where the t value of parental parenting patterns (3.949) > t table value (1.979). 2) there is a positive and significant influence of student interest in learning on student learning outcomes, this result can be seen in the t test where the t value of student interest in learning (7.998) > t table value (1.979) which means that this variable is significant. 3) parenting patterns and students' interest in learning together influence student learning outcomes, these results can be seen in the F test where the Fcount value (319, 984) > Ftable value (3.07). The R square coefficient of determination test was found to be 0.841, which means that 84.1% of the variables of parental parenting and student interest in learning were on student learning outcomes in the Creative Entrepreneurship Products (PKK) class XII Pematang Siantar Preparatory Private Vocational School, and 15.9% was the influence of other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the "Effect of the Use of Google and Libraries on the Learning Outcomes of Social Sciences Subjects for Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 6 Pematang Siantar". This research uses quantitative descriptive research. Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Pematang Siantar with a total of 171 students constitute the population in this study. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique. By using this sampling technique, the students who will be the samples in this study were 171 students consisting of classes VIII-1, VIII-2, VIII-3, VIII- 4, VIII-5. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. The hypothesis making technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence from the use of Google on the learning outcomes of social studies subjects, seen from the t test where the tvalue from the use of Google (16.394) > ttable value (1.65381) which means this variable significant. 2) There is a positive and significant influence from the library on the learning outcomes of social studies subjects, seen from the t test where the value of library tcount (12.658) > ttable (1.65381) which means the variable is significant. 3) the use of Google and libraries together influences the learning outcomes of social studies subjects, seen from the Ftest where the Fcount value (330.329) > Ftable value (3.048). The R Square coefficient of determination test was found to be 0.797,which means that 79.7% of the Google and library utilization variables influence the learning outcomes of social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 6 Pematang Siantar and the remaining 20.3% is the influence of other variables not examined in this research. The regression value is 2149.521, while the residual value is 546.607, which means there are other factors that influence the learning outcomes of social studies subjects but were not studied in this study, namely 546.607. The results of the multiple regression analysis test are Y = 21.777 +0.401X1 + 0.299X2 + 546.607, which means that variable X1 (use of Google) with a value of 0.401 has a more dominant influence than variable X2 (library) with a value of 0.299.

Abstract

The Student Teams Acvhiement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class III Theme 1 Subtheme 1 students at UPTD SD Negeri 125543 Pematang Siantar. The research method used is Quantitative with Pre-Experimental Designs research type and One-Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The research population was class III UPTD SD Negeri 125543 Pematang Siantar as many as 23 people. The data collection technique is in the form of a pretest and posttest . By carrying out the pretest stage , providing treatment by applying the Student Team Acvhiement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning model and posttest , research data was produced. The average pretest result was 61.09 which was included in the poor category or did not meet the KKM, then the average posttest result was 76.09 which was included in the good category. Based on the results of data analysis and the hypotheses tested, it is known that the Student Teams Acvhiement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes. This is proven by the results of the t test with the paired sample t-test statistical test type, the value obtained is 6.617. With a frequency (db) of 23 — 1 = 22, at the significance level = 0.05 , it is obtained , namely 2.074. So it is obtained > or 6.617 > 2.074 then H 0 is rejected and Ha a is accepted, which means that the hypothesis in this study Ha a is accepted. Thus, the cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Acvhiement Divisions (STAD) type influences the learning outcomes of class III Theme 1 Subtheme 1 students at UPTD SD Negeri 125543 Pematang Siantar.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the influence of learning independence and time management on social studies learning outcomes for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Pematang Siantar. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a quantitative descriptive data analysis approach. Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Pematang Siantar with a total of 186 students constitute the population in this study. Sampling in this study used the proportional allocation formula technique. Using sampling techniques in this research, there were 127 people consisting of classes VIII-1, VIII-2, VIII-3, VIII-4, VIII-5 and VIII-6. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. The hypothesis making technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence of learning independence on student learning outcomes, seen from the significance value in the t test results of 0.000 ˂ 0.05, and the t test where the calculated t value of learning independence is (3.954) ˃ t table (1.65694) which means that this variable is significant. 2) There is a positive and significant influence of time management on student learning outcomes, seen from the t test where the calculated t value of time management is (3.857) ˃ t table (1.65694) which means that this variable is significant. 3) Learning independence and time management together influence learning outcomes, seen from the F test where the calculated F value is (23.755) ˃ table F value (3.067). The R square coefficient of determination test was found to be 0.277, which means that 27.7% of the learning independence and time management variables influence student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 5 Pematang Siantar and the remaining 72.3% is the influence of other variables not examined in this research. The regression value is 1920.882, while the residual value is 5013.544, which means there are other factors that influence learning outcomes but were not studied in this study, namely 5013.544. The results of the multiple regression analysis test are Y = 29.426+ 0.372+0.373, which means that variable X2 (time management) with a value of 0.373 has a more dominant influence than variable X1 (independence in learning) with a value of 0.372.

Abstract

The background to this research is based on activities carried out by researchers in class V UPTD SDN 124385 Pematang Siantar, namely the teacher still uses conventional learning models so that students are less active in the learning process. This causes the learning process to be less than optimal and student learning outcomes have not been achieved in accordance with the Minimum Completeness Criteria. From this problem, it is necessary to find a solution, namely by implementing the Talking Stick learning model . This learning model is suitable to be applied to thematic learning becausethis learning model invites students to be more active and can train students' mentality and courage in providing their own opinions. This learning model can improve the quality of thematic learning and also influence student learning outcomes. This type of research uses a pre-experimental method with a research design using a one group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 25 students. Based on the results of the data analysis tests carried out, thehypothesis test results obtained were tcount = 11.658 and ttable 2.064 with tcount > ttable = 11.658 > 2.064, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. With thisexplanation, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Talking Stick learning mode on student learning outcomes in subtheme 2 the importance of clean air for breathing in class V UPTD SDN 124385 Pematang Siantar.
