Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning model on student learning outcomes in subtheme 3 animal growth in class III UPTD SD Negeri 122365 Pematang Siantar. The method in this research is a quantitative experimental type method whose research design is pre- experimental type one group pretest-posttest . The population and sample used were saturated sampling with 22 samples, as well as two research variables: the dependent variable (x) in the form of learning outcomes, and the independent variable (y) in the form of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. The data collection technique is the test technique. The test results using the t-test technique with the help of the spss program, based on the calculation results obtained tcount = 22.894 with a significance level (2-tailed) 0.000, significant probability < 0.005, tcount > ttable = 22.894 > 2.064, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This explanation shows that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Model on the learning outcomes of class III students in Subtheme 3 at SD Negeri 122365 Rambung Pematang Siantar.

The method in this research is a quantitative experimental method whose research design is Pre-experimental type one group. pretest-posttest. Conducted in October 2023, the population of all students at UPTD SD Negeri 122337 Pematang Siantar and a sample of 22 students consisting of 11 female students and 11 male students were used, namely purposing sampling with two research variables: the dependent variable (x) in the form of increase critical thinking skills, as well as the independent variable (y) in the form of a make a match model , a learning concept where students learn while playing using students matching pairs of cards on a fun topic. Data collection techniques are test techniques with validity tests, reliability tests, gain normality tests (n-gain). The test results using the Ngain technique with the help of the SPSS version 21 program, based on the calculation results obtained a mean of 0.71, with an effectiveness of 0.71 ≥ 0.7 which is included in the high category. All independent variables have a significant influence on the dependent variable. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the make a match mode on the critical thinking abilities of class V students at UPTD SD Negeri 122337 Pematang Siantar FY 2023/2024.

Conducted in September 2023, the population of all students at UPTD SD Negeri 125543 Pematang Siantar and a sample of 22 students consisting of 14 female students and 8 male students were used, namely two research variables: the dependent variable (x) the influence of the learning model problem based learning (y) student learning outcomes , the concept of learning is a result of achievement in teaching and learning activities which is achieved through a learning process which can be measured by the student's achievement or ability to achieve. Data collection techniques are test techniques with validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level tests, and distinguishing power tests. The test results using the N-gain technique with the help of the SPSS version 21 program, based on the calculation results obtained a mean of 0.5588, with an effectiveness of 0.7>0.5588>0.3 which is in the medium category, in the ANOVA test the significance value was 0.002, which is where category 0.002<0.05 then HO is rejected Ha is accepted. This means that all independent variables have a significant influence on learning outcomes and have a significant influence on the dependent variable. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the problem based learning model on the learning outcomes of class V students at UPTD SD Negeri 125543 Pematang Siantar FY 2023/2024.

Abstract

Farming is an essential part of a country's economy, providing livelihoods for many people. Traditionally, farmers used less precise methods, which reduced productivity and took a lot of time. Precision farming, on the other hand, improves productivity by accurately planning the farming process. It involves predicting weather conditions, analysing soil, recommending crops, and determining the right amount of fertilizers and pesticides to use. Precision farming uses advanced technologies like IoT, data mining, data analytics, and machine learning to gather data, train systems, and make predictions. This technology reduces manual labour and increases productivity. Farmers face various challenges, such as crop failures due to lack of rainfall and poor soil quality. Environmental changes make it important to find smart ways to manage crops and harvests. This research aims to help individuals farm more efficiently and achieve higher productivity at a lower cost. It also helps predict the total cost of cultivation, allowing people to plan their farming activities more effectively. In short, it provides an integrated solution for farming.

Abstract

The Facial Recognition Attendance Monitoring System employing Deep Learning Techniques represents a cutting-edge application of artificial intelligence in educational and corporate environments. The implementation of a Facial Recognition System can aid in identifying or verifying a person's identity from a digital image. Accurate attendance records are vital to classroom evaluation. However, manual attendance tracking can result in errors, missed students, or duplicate entries. The adoption of the Face Recognition-based attendance system could help eliminate these shortcomings. This innovative approach involves utilizing a camera to capture input images, detecting faces using algorithms such as Haarcascade, Eigen values, support vector machines, or the Fisher face algorithm, verifying the faces against a database of student profiles, and marking attendance in an Excel sheet. The use of OpenCV, an open-source computer vision library, ensures the efficient functioning of the system.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of pop-up book media on the learning outcomes of class IV students in social studies subjects theme 1 subtheme 3 at SD Negeri 094109 Raya Pinantar. This research is a type of quantitative research using experimental methods with a one group pretest-posttest design type of research . The population of this research is all fourth grade students at SD 094109 Raya Pinantar FY 2023/2024, totaling 25 students. The research results at the 0.05 level show that there is an influence of Pop-Up Book media on student learning outcomes. After carrying out the validity of the test, a pretest was carried out with an average score of 52.48 and the posttest results showed that the average score for class IV students was 83.20. By using the N-Gain Test, an average value of 63.27 is obtained, so the results of the N-Gain test are in the medium category, judging from the provisions of the assessment criteria, if 0.70 < n- gain , then the assessment criteria are high, and if 0, 30 < n-gain < 0.70 then the assessment criteria are medium, and if n-gain < 0.30 then the assessment criteria are low. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between increasing learning outcomes using Pop-Up Book media and increasing learning outcomes without using Pop-Up Book media.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the role of parents and schools on the learning motivation of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 091607 Sinaksak. The method used in this research is the quantitative method. The sample used was 33 students, in the research there were: the dependent variable (x) student learning motivation, and the independent variable (y) the influence of the role of parents. The data collection technique is the test technique. Test results using the Hypothesis test technique with the help of the SPSS program, based on the results of a significance calculation of 0.000. Because significance is smaller than 0.05, H0 is rejected. Which means there is a significant influence between the school environment and the learning motivation of class V students at SD Negeri 091607 Sinaksak. n significant value for the relationship of variable (x) simultaneously to y is 0.00 < 0.05 and the f_count value is 27.947 > 4.20 (f table) so it can be concluded that the hypothesis test is accepted which means there is a relationship between variables (x ) simultaneously on the variable (y).
