Abstract

In accordance with the awareness of the importance of human factors and the need to improve ship operational management in preventing ship, human, cargo and property accidents and preventing pollution of the marine environment, IMO issued a regulation on ship safety management marine environment protection known as the International Safety Management (ISM Code) which was also consolidated in the SOLAS convention. This research was carried out on the KM ship. ADITHYA on the Pare-pare – Samarinda cruise. PT. Afta Trans Mandiri. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that several things about Safety Management are as follows introduction of Safety Management is very important for the company or for ships because the process of understanding Safety Management for companies will be able to compete for the market

Abstract

Maintenance that involves attention, supervision, maintenance, repair and human power factors as the implementing operator in creating conditions ready for operation of a ship's main propulsion engine whose principles require good handling and maintenance is expected to support shipping operations that have been planned by shipping companies The purpose of this study is to study, solve the formulation of problems regarding turbo chargers on MT. CALAGUAS. This Scientific Writing research method is supported by some accurate data, facts, and information relevant to its title. The research methods that the writing uses are field research, observation, interviews, and library research. The results showed that Surging occurs because the air pressure in the rinse chamber is greater than the air pressure in the blower where this air pressure difference causes a backwave coming from the rinse chamber to the blower at that time. This backwave clashed on the side of the blower, which was marked by a sound like crying. Such conditions will last until there is an air pressure equation in the rinse air

Abstract

Ships are a means of sea transportation that use diesel engines as the main driving force. This is because diesel engines are easier to maintain and faster to operate. Considering this, diesel engines need special attention so that they are always ready to use and work well to support activities on board. The aim of this research is to determine the causal factors and what efforts must be made to overcome the obstruction of heat absorption in the lubricating oil of the main engine on the MT.AnnaBella ship. The research results show that the cause of the lack of oil cooler lubrication absorption on the main engine at MT.AnnaBella is due to lack of maintenance on the lubrication system components, namely dirty Lo cooler sea water pipes, dirty sea chase filters, resulting in decreased sea water pump suction, and dirty impellers. pump the sea water pump so that the sea water pump pressure decreases. Efforts to overcome the obstruction of heat absorption in the lubricating oil of the main engine on the MT AnnaBella include paying attention to the cleanliness of the sea water pipes in the lo cooler. By spraying compressed air and using rattan, always pay attention to the cleanliness of the sea water filter and regularly check the sea water pump impeller for dirt.

Abstract

Based on the discussion in the previous chapter, the author can draw conclusions, namely the factors causing the high oil content in wastewater resulting from the Oil water separator process, namely the implementation of maintenance schedules are not on time, dirty coalesscer filters, bilge well contains a lot of dirt. The impact caused by factors that cause high oil content in wastewater from the oil water separator process consists of the impact caused by the implementation of the maintenance schedule is not on time is the hampering of the operation of the oil water separator, sudden damage to the oil water separator components, less than optimal performance of the oil water separator And the impact caused by dirty coalesscer filters is less than optimal filtering of dirt / filtering process

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the factors causing the drop in fresh water cooling system pressure on the compressor, to find out the impact of the factor of the drop in fresh water cooling system pressure on the compressor, and to find out the lack of fresh water cooling in the air compressor on the ship. This research is qualitative research by observing and collecting information from the company. The results of the research show that the impact caused by the decrease in compression pressure on the Main Air Compressor at KM TONASA LINE
